Very nice location and real heritage property room are big size with very good amenity , we enjoy testy food , staff was very friendly, we enjoy horse riding also if you are looking for a nice heritage tour this the right placeTiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "An amazing experience.."
"Firstly, my apologies, as my review comes in very late. We travelled as a family of 5 and had planned a one-night stay at Tiger Mountain in late March. The moment we stepped into the lodge, its location took our breath away. Looking down at the valley below and the clouds in the distance, my family was instantly taken with the property. I, of course, had ulterior motives, Tiger Mountain is renowned to be one of the best birding destinations in Nepal. We were welcomed very warmly by Jhalak, the property's customer service manager who gave us a complete overview of the property. We had arrived at lunchtime, so after taking our lunch (all freshly made, the highlight of which was the tomato chutney), we retired to our rooms where the view was equally marvelous if not more. (...)As my family had some specific food requirements, the hotel stage were kind enough us to whip us something when the regular meal choices didn't make sense. At night once the weather had settled, Hari brought me out to listen to the haunting call of the Mountain Scops Owl, and since I had a flashlight, he said I could try my luck to catch the eye shine of a wandering yellow-throated marten (no luck there!). Next morning, I was up again to go with Hari, and after a quick clouded view of the Himalayas, we were off. We saw many more species, including the Khaleej pheasant scurrying away from the owner's bungalow into the forest. Truly a birder's paradise this. Jhalak and all the other staff ensured throughout our stay that we were well looked after (Jhalak, I did mention you to Jitudai at Chitwan, he beamed brightly when he heard yours and Hari's name). All in all, a wonderful stay, cozy, relaxing and for an amateur birder, downright enjoyable :) "Jing’s Residence: "Old World Charm and Service"
Jing's Residence is a place where you can relax and recharge while travelling through China. You are staying in the centre of Pinyao and it is a busy place but once you are through the discreet entrance everything is all calm.Rachamankha: "Amazing Stay"
"My mom and I stayed at the Rachamankha hotel this fall following a study abroad program I took part in for my graduate studies. What a beautiful place!! The restaurant on the resort is beautiful, provides a huge breakfast, and the dinners there are delicious as well. If it's in season, definitely order mango sticky rice for dessert- you will not be disappointed. We stayed for 4 days to begin and were very pleased. We then left for Phuket for a week and returned to Chiang Mai and the Rachamankha. Our stay the second time was not as pleasant. We had trouble with our overhead light flashing when it was turned off and the air conditioner did not work well. The staff were as helpful as they could be regarding these issues, but because of the language barrier it was sometimes difficult to maneuver more than simple questions. Their recommendations for restaurants were amazing. Definitely make your way to David's kitchen at least once, and also The Whole Earth. You'll need to take a taxi, songthaew or tuk tuk there, but the staff is helpful in arranging them. It's on the opposite side of the old city as all of the markets, but travel is easy to get there. The grounds are beautiful there as well, and very well kept. The pool and library are both impressive. We would definitely stay there again!"Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "A gem of a place"
"It is no wonder Sea-dance has won so many awards! This small boutique hotel is the perfect escape from the bustling crowds of nearby towns like Bophut, Fisherman's Village, Chaweng and Bangrak. However, a quick taxi ride can be organized by the hotel or by using the company just outside the gates. We stayed in a seafront villa with our own splash-pool. The room was spacious and beautiful. The sea, main pool, bar, restaurant was close by. It is an environmentally friendly hotel with their own veg garden. It is spotlessly clean and impeccably maintained. Staff take pride in their work which is testament to the owner Poh's Booncham's excellent management. What a team: Faith, Poh, Luk etc you are all amazing: you attended to our every need"Talabgaon Castle Heritage Resort: "Beautifull interesting hotel."
"We only spent one night at the hotel, but I wish we had spent more time here. We arrived in the evening and had dinner by the pool, it was wonderful. The room was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the nearby village, a step back in time. Highly recommended !"Reverie Siam: "Outstanding! Loved everything about it"
"Amazing service, big and quiet rooms, lots of green, great swimmingpools, beautiful decor, best restaurant in town, great price. This hotel is a hidden gem. They even offer local mobile phones for guests to take when going to town, so they can call the hotel for sending a driver to pick them up. I am 100% happy with this hotel. I highly recommend it."Blackitch Artisan Kitchen: "Amazing Chef’s Table experience"
"Had no idea what to expect when we booked this restaurant, and not knowing even made it better. We almost left because we didn't know where the restaurant was, we entered the bar adjacent and they said it was next door but next door was a gelato place which was closed. Blackitch was above this gelato place but we felt weird entering a closed shop. Luckily as we were about to leave, a lady came out and let us in, led us up into this quaint and small space. It was the restaurant and it would only fit about 12 people (2 tables and a bar area) making it super intimate. The food consisted of a 9-course set menu which is meticulously prepared by the Chef who comes out to explain each course. It changes all the time and his philosophy is very farm-to-table, local, nose-to-mouth cooking. His cooking ideals are admirable and we would definitely go back to try the other dishes he comes up with as the dishes were delicious (lots of Thai flavors fused with other cuisines). A meal for 4 of us cost around 7000 baht with drink and corkage as be bought a bottle of wine along."Tugu Bali: "Stay at the Tugu Hotel Bali"
"I stayed at the Tugu Hotel with one of my friends on my first visit to Bali. Such a beautiful place with breathtaking spacious rooms with a private plunge pool. The beach is in walking distance just a couple of meters away where you can go for your first surf lession. You are able to enjoy an all day breakfast a la card menu from anywhere you wish on the hotel property. The staff is incredibly caring and friendly and makes you feel very welcome. Every Thursday you can enjoy a traditional indonesian dance performance, while eating delicous local food and after enjoying some tasty cocktails on the rooftop bar during happy hour. The spa offers great valued massages and beauty treatments for everyones needs. If you have the chance to try one of the local cooking classes, you should not pass on this opportunity. It is fun, you learn a lot about local herbs and spices and you get to eat everything afterwards. I can not wait to return on my next visit. Thanks Tugu"Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "The perfect break!"
Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge provided the perfect break from the rush, noise and dust in city life in Nepal. From the moment you arrive the staff are attentive and provide helpful information in a non intrusive way. The rooms, each a cottage on its own, are spacious, comfortable and every need is catered for. Early morning views of the mountains are spectacular and visible from each of the rooms. The food is so good at each meal, individual needs having been taken into account, it is worth losing a bit of weight before staying there. A place to be returned to.
