MesaStila: "Have made plans to come back"
"We were impressed by the resort from the moment we arrived - and it only got better. The service level of the staff was exceptional, without being intrusive. Mbak Lily was very helpful during our stay, and everyone else we met there was equally hospitable. We enjoyed our room with the view of the Mt. Andong - breathtaking view to wake up to. Room was spacious and comfortable, furnished with antique Javanese pieces. Just beautiful. Food was excellent - wine collection can be improved though. We enjoyed the Coffee Plantation Walk and the Yoga class, and would like to try the Mountain Trekking on our next visit. One of the many highlights of our stay was the Hammam Spa, which is definitely not to be missed!"Chakrabongse Villas: "Just one word: unforgetable"
In your next trip to bangkok, don't look no further. It's a small paradise in the middle of this crazy tomorrow. An amazing view to the river with a friendly staff. Just a recommendation: if you would like to have a wonderful dinner by the river you need to book in advance.Les Maisons d’Itac: "Best place we stayed in the Philippines"
"Me and my gf spent 4 nights at Les Maisons d'Itac. We were supposed to stay for 3, we loved the place so much we decided to stay 1 more night (we couldn't stay longer as the Mayson Ulisse was not available anymore, so we kept our travel plan on). What can we say? Bryan (who spoke italian, we're italians and we have very charming and nice conversations during our stay) has been the perfect host. Always ready to help, charmful and totally welcoming. We booked our trasfers to Bantayan and back to Cebu through him and it was just perfect! The food at the maisons is great, the location awsome. They have an amazing spot for snorkelling just in front of the resort that you can reach in a few mins swimming. What makes this place special (apart from the view, the nature around, the sea) is the SILENCE. In almost a month in the Philippines we never found such a relaxing spot, where you can fall asleep at night hearing at the waves sounds. A true dream come true. If you're looking for a place to stay around Moalboal (it can be reached in 25 minutes scooter ride from the resort, you can rent just asking Bryan) DO NOT HESITATE to book a stay at the Maisons. p.s: say hi to Itac and Stacey for us :) Ciao! Andrea & Marta Room Tip: Maison Ulysse is a must-to-try!"Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Amazing experience – excellent service"
"Visited for one night on our honeymoon. Were greeted by the friendly Dhanu who drove us in the jeep to camp. Stayed in a couples tent. Tent was spacious, fans, proper flush toilet next to the tent, shower under the stars (they offer warm water shower). The lunch provided was the best Sri Lankan meal I have had in our holiday in this country. The flavours and variety was specialist. Trying all the different types of vegetables and spices. After lunch we went on our first game drive. We were so lucky to see Leopard resting on branch of tree. Saj was great at spotting the wildlife and very informative about the park, history, leopards etc etc. Lovely dinner under the stars and Noel was also there for the night which was great to meet him. We were up early for the dawn game drive. Again we were very fortunate to see he bears (one which charged the jeep) and 2 Leopards which we saw mating. Amazing experience and very lucky to have these encounters with the wildlife. Overall we had an amazing time and wish we stayed 2 nights. We were lucky to see that variety in wildlife in just 2 game drives. Highly recommend. Thank you to all staff, your service and hospitality was impeccable"Babe: "Sensational. A really special experience."
"Among all of the places I have eaten at, Babe exudes an atmosphere that rivals the most energetic of places, with the food sharing that same energy. Chef Jeff Ramsay and his team of chefs and hosts provide an experience that's unlike any other in Malaysia. The food is refreshingly inventive, executed well, and finished off with attentive explanations. I really enjoyed my time here and I recommend the place to anybody who's looking for a good time. "The Twelve Hotel: "Pleasant"
Quiet oasis in Bangkok. The hotel is quiet, clean and the owners are friendly. Bedding is excellent and tasteful decoration. This is a small hotel on a human scale. A little far from the subway or foot to BTS but tuk tuk will cost you 50 Bath. In short I would go back because I have spent a great timeTugu Lombok: "Get pampered"
"We stayed 5 nights in a Swarga Villa immediately after end of ramadan. The photographs of the Villa on the website are not favorable when compared to what it is really. The villa is very nice : terrass with table and chairs, one spacious room including area for desk, generous semi-open air bathroom, patio, and open-air place with two sunbeds and a view on the sea (however, the place is mostly in the shade, you can hardly sunbathe here). Limited privacy on open-air areas. Everything is perfectly working and service is impeccable. For those who would go for an Bhagavat Gita Oceanfront Suite, note that the pool is small (it is a plunge pool) and there is no privacy. Pool is in a garden open to the beach. The service is outstanding, from welcome to good-bye. We would like to drop a special note for Erik at front-desk, Mahmud and Ruslan in the restaurant. They have been excellent making us really feeling at home. What is special to Tugu Lombok is that you can have dinner (and I guess even breakfast) wherever you like : on the beach, on the pool, on the pond, on the spa roof which is like a temple, at your villa.... Food is nice (if not always excellent) and reasonable in price given the standard of the resort. But the choice of wine at an affordable price could be better, including some less expensive wines from Bali for example. Breakfast is generous in every way. We have been less convinced by the spa. Prices are equivalent to 5* in Jakarta but quality level is lower. Whereas quality of massage was quite good, everything else was not luxurious or refined. There are no male therapists. Beach : yes, it is true that there are pieces of coral on the sand. It is however easy to avoid them. In addition, Tugu cleans the beach as much as possible and they have rockshoes available (free). In fact, those coral are more problematic to get into and out of the water, but it did not spoil our pleasure in any way. A big pool, in addition to the nice one in front of the restaurant, is perfect for swimmers (long approx. 30 m, with a smart three-level deep system). Tugu is secluded and very quiet, and this was what we wanted. Fyi, there are no other options for dinner nearby. Bicycles are available (free), local people in the village are very nice and welcoming. Regarding the design, we loved it. But check their website before you book and you can easily see whether you like this style of deco or not. Opinion is given taking into account that the hotel is considered being of very high, ""luxury"" standard (5 stars)."Tugu Lombok: "Exceeding Expectations"
"It was the third time for my wife and me to stay in Hotel Tugu Lombok... When you decide to repeat a stay in a hotel, for a long stay, there should be a deep reason behind... That is the case with Hotel Tugu Lombok... you will never get disappointed!. The location of this hotel is so privileged that you will discover gains from it, every day…starting at the very first moment of your arrival. When walking around for the first time, most likely you will think… Is this real?... how is it possible to have such an amazing place in a XXI Century Earth?...An Awesome Sunrise will wake you up every morning… just get up, walk few steps towards the beach… and seat down there for a unique experience…. And… you know?... that is every day during your stay!!.. and... waiting for a breathtaking Sunset.... magnificent!!. The staff is so efficient and kind that will prepare the breakfast for you somewhere, close to that place, if you like … up to you. You may also like to go swimming in those sea crystal waters, feeling God’s blessings!. After starting the day in that way… what else may I add?... Actually, many other experiences and magic moments… The staff is always caring of you, wherever you are. You do not feel they are doing so, however, you will feel like “the only guest”… I cannot explain how they do that, but every time I came to Tugu Lombok I received the same awareness and “interest”. What about the meals?... excellent, although it was very good during previous stays, we noted that this time “the kitchen” has even improved. It seems that the new team is renovating but keeping tradition and style, in both international and local choices. The place is so quiet and romantic that you may opt to stay, relaxing…walking along the beach…. and dreaming of the next time to come. The offer of the types of “Villas”, Suites… Bungalows… is so wide that it is up to you to explore those options. However, I suggest going for “Suite Sea View” (front line)…or, one of the 4 big Villas, if your budget gives you room. My favorite ones are Suite 107…101, and the 4 big Villas. When I stay in such a Paradise, I use to enjoy much more thinking that this is not going to be the only time to stay there…but, there will be more times to amaze in here. Enjoying the stay in the hotel or doing other activities, is up to you… the staff will arrange any excursions, sea activities, sailing…etc… just let your wishes to tell. Lombok is a wonderful island that has a lot of surprises to show. You have some drivers and cars, boats and guides available at the hotel. Anytime, easy and enjoyable!. Our experience in Hotel Tugu Lombok is “Exceeding Expectations”… for third time. The location is still well maintained, without hotels close to, the facilities are unique in the world, the staff is – as always – well trained and “wishing” you feel the only one guest… Only one more thing to say: As previous times… I leave for home, thinking of coming back!.. Thank you very much for all your attentions. Terima Kasih Banyak, Banyak!..."Rachamankha: "A beautiful and peaceful Hotel"
"We stayed here for 4 nights on our 2 week tour of Thailand and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Gardens, grounds and communal areas are stunning, beautifully elegant and peaceful. Perfect for the romantic holiday maker. The pool area is also lovely although the water itself is cold even on a hot day, so we only ever had a quick dip before enjoying a cocktail on the comfortable lounges around the pool. The restaurant is superb. The food is delicious and the Beautiful Courtyard with it's elegantly decorated tables is a perfect place to enjoy a relaxing meal. The service was attentive but not intrusive and we never had to wait for anything. It seems the staff just knew when we needed something and we're there before we even had to look over from our table. Breakfast is also served at the restaurant and is of a really high standard. Everything you could possibly think of and more. Our room was a really good size and just Steps Away From the pool. It was really nicely lit and tastefully decorated with all the amenities you could need. Bottled water was plentiful and replaced each time the room with serviced. Bathroom products were replaced daily including the complementary insect repellent which was a nice touch. In the evenings the hotel grounds and buildings are beautifully lit to create a super romantic atmosphere. I would highly recommend this hotel to those seeking a little peace and romance. It's all so nicely situated near to temples, markets and other restaurants. If you are looking for an elegant stylish boutique hotel with beautiful grounds and excellent service, look no further. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"Manukan Island Resort: "Fantastic way to start the holiday!"
"Arrived at Manakan and the staff were fantastic greeted us straight from the boat, check in staff Welter was BRILLIANT and couldn't do enough for us helped us with transfers to our next destination and was just really helpful, warm and friendly. The room was great in hindsight it would have def paid more for one of the rooms within the trees as the view from there rooms just looked amazing! Great walks through the jungle but mosquito spray is ESSENTIAL!!!!! Dinner was lovely could do with more veggie options though but that seems to be a theme throughout Borneo. Lovely beach and just like everyone says once the tourists go you feel like the islands yours. Food was really good and a great price! Especially when compared to other hotels. Diving was nice although the corals are looking a bit sad and a lot have died but no fault of the resorts. Sunset point whilst it has a bin really needs someone to take the trash as over flowing bins kind of ruined it a little also once the tourists have gone a bit more effort into taking trash of the bin could be in place. A great start to the holiday and honestly a beautiful place which I'd def recommend"
