Sukoon Houseboat: "best house boad"
"After many places we zeroed down to Sukoon and we knew it would be great. We booked Suite and it surpassed our expectations. They pick up from gate and drop you a house boat , check in was fast and staff was very courteous, Humble and polite. We offered Kawa on sunny breezy evening Rooms were Big, Spacious and had good view. Good comfortable Beds and Heaters. The washroom are the best from houseboats perspective. Its loaded with excellent quality toiletries, bathtub, shower panel etc. "Maison Polanka: "Appreciated the place"
"We stayed here for a week with my family and friends. We were picked up from the airport and was greeted warmly with a big smile. Our first day was filled with good food, relaxing times and good memories. Especially when my kids played with the rabbit at the garden. The chef was great! She cooks very tasty khmer food. The home made cocktails are also good to try. My wife loved the charmjng garden they got and there's green everywhere. We also had a great time with the tuk yuk driver and the tour guide. Thdy were very helpful and very keen on explaining the history of the place"4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Quite simply, wow"
This experience was worth the long car journey and really made the holiday to Cambodia special. We arrived on the 1st October and from the moment we stepped onto the complimentary boat the relaxation began. The luxury of the tents astounded us, I especially wasn't expecting such a decent water pressure from the shower, to be able to lie in bed and just look out onto the river was unique. Another surprise was the variety of fresh food available, the daily changing set menu was wonderful. We did both the fire fly and waterfall excursions, should the weather have been better we would have jumped at the sunset trip too, the waterfall was brilliant fun and exhilarating. However what really made the trip for me was the people and their stories. The activities coordinator had such interesting stories to tell, I thoroughly enjoyed the trip to his island, on the way back from the waterfall, where we met the locals and shared some fresh coconut. Seeing first hand how they live and discussing their hopes for their country was extremely thought provoking. Our last evening will be one I will never forget, from further discussions with staff about their views on the development of Cambodia, to our beautiful dinner over looking the water, I was already missing the resort when the staff all came out to play their guitars and sing for us, it was simply a fantastic experience, one I have not stopped raving about since returning. If you want to experience the hidden side of Cambodia or simply want to get away from it all for a while you really must stay here. Thank you all for making my holiday an unforgettable experience I truly do miss each of youMrauk U Princess Resort: "Excellent hotel resort"
"It's a long ride up river to Myauk U but worth it. The resort is a welcome sight when you get there. Rooms (or rather villa) are huge, almost a villa, in some interpretation of traditional style. Very relaxing with the lotus ponds. Staff are wonderful. The on-premise restaurant is very good. If you are not an early riser, ask for a room away from the river as the boats are noisy and start early. A few words of advice: Just don't take boxed food to go, or if you do, do not order the prawns."Villa Song Saigon: "Old School Elegance"
"Wow - what a place. Right on the river. To catch a ride to the heart of District 1, there is no shuttle bus. There is a shuttle boat - a speed boat. You ride up the river, past all the barges and little tugboats - past all the major waterfront development as you approach the heat and noise of Ho Chi Minh City. Villa Song is located in an exclusive old part of the city, tucked away on its own - by the water. We had a room overlooking the river. It was amazing to look out and see a container barge floating by so close. The restaurant is world class in my opinion. The chef has some great ideas about ingredients and presentation. The pool is a bit small and cramped but who cares. This is Saigon, baby. The staff were friendly and professional. We had a late checkout - no problem. The experience overall was flawless. Highly recommended. "4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "It is really amazing eco resort along Tatai River in Koh Kong"
I spent 2 nights there with my friend. It is really a relax and peaceful place with the amazing view of jungle and Tatai River. The staffs are excellent, they are very friendly and helpful. The food is also tasty. In concluded, we really enjoyed this trip. It is really a unique resort in Koh Kong. I hope I will back to stay there again soon.Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Just Wonderful"
We had the most wonderful taster menu here at such a reasonable price of $31. It was nice to get a choice of 2 taster menus and when I explained that I would like to swap one course with a course from the other taster menu, the chef came out to see me and explain the dish more to help me chose which one to go with. Such a nice touch for the chef to come out. In the end I didn't enjoy the course afterall so the chef as promised sent out the other course I wanted instead. How good customer service is that ? Wish we could have gone again but they were closed for the next few weeks luckily Siem Reap is full of wonderful restaurants so we were spoiled for choice, but none like this place.Tugu Bali: "Romantic Stay!"
"Tugu was such a unique experience! I loved eating breakfast overlooking the ocean each morning as well as being steps from the beach! The room was nice and the service was excellent! I really love the coconut milk lattes in the morning! So good!! Tugu's service is 5 star! Even the driver has fresh fruit for you and water as you commute to the hotel. Way to go Tugu!"Reverie Siam Pai: "Very nice and relaxing"
Passed 3 nights in this nice hotel locate just 1 km from Pai town centre. The resort is really nice, it has 2 nice swimming pools, very good mediterranean restaurant and lovely rooms well equipped. Breakfast is à la carte, so you can choose whatever you prefer. It is really good! Wish to come backleopard safaries: "Absolute respect for nature, top notch service, and food to die for"
"We cannot recommend Leopard Safaris highly enough. We stayed at a range of accommodations while in Sri Lanka--from luxury eco-resorts to Airbnb--and Noel runs the most professional operation of them all, and leaves the high-end luxury resorts (e.g. Jetwing) in his dust. It felt like nothing was an issue, effort or burden for Noel and his team. All of his team are fantastic, but we worked with Saj the most and can’t speak highly enough of his welcoming and friendly nature, sense of humor, great enthusiasm and passion for what he does (i.e. revel in nature and wildlife!), and utmost professionalism. Seriously, Saj - will you be our friend?! ;o) (...)The campsite (accommodations, dining, lounge etc.) strike a great “glamping” balance - modern luxuries (e.g. porcelain toilet), but not excessively developed, so there is comfort without feeling like the area has been flattened for tourists (in fact, Noel replanted/reforested a lot of the area, having been cleared previously by farmers) - The traditional Sri Lankan food was the best bar none - we ate only traditional Sri Lankan food for our 3-week trip, from roadside to home-cooked meals to luxury dining, and not only were the meals at Leopard Safaris the best versions of what we’d eaten elsewhere, there were also a host of other traditional dishes we’d never seen (I’m converted to wood apples!) Thank you Noel, Saj, and everyone at Leopard Safari’s for a lifetime of memories and an all-too-brief stay. Please do keep to your values and good work, and hopefully we can come back soon!"
