The Cabochon Hotel: "fantastic atmosphere"
Me and My Filippo we spent a 4 fantastic days in the Cabochon Hotel, really familiar atmosphere in a very stylish and classy place. As soon as we arrived we feel the particular hot and friendly character of the persons that manage the hotel. thank you and I hope to get there really soon.Tugu Malang: "Great stay"
"I stayed here recently for three nights over the weekend and really enjoyed my stay. The staff were wonderful and helpful especially Lina and M. and John. Even though the hotel purposely appears older, it's actually a much younger building but they do a good job scattering antiques and various Java artifacts around the hotel giving the grounds and public areas a venerable appearance. The bar is especially charming and interesting and even serves decent wine by the glass; not so easy to find in Java. Wifi worked well and afternoon tea was a nice touch. The location is quite close to the train station and also faces a scenic park where frequent cultural events take place. There are several restaurants nearby and the hotel restaurant is prob the best in the city. A nice coffee shop across the street called Java Dancer was also worth a visit. Stayed May 2016, travelled solo"Hotel Tugu Lombok: "Incredible Family Holiday Weekend!"
Hotel Tugu Lombok is a truly special and amazing place. There is something beautiful to see in every direction - from the larger than life statues and antiques that create drama and intrigue to the tiny details like the bathroom toiletries that are in clay pots or the boardgames in the dining area that are all made of wood and natural materials. Not an eye sore to be found. The attention to detail in both service and decor makes for a very luxurious experience. The food is fantastic and the presentation is beautiful. We loved both the Indonesian fare and the western options and the healthy breakfast smoothy bowls were delish. The beach is stunning and steps away from the rooms and from the restaurants. You can paddle board and snorkel right right off the beach or take a trip out a little further and see sea turtles. I can't recommend this place highly enough. You won't be disappointed.Amata Lanna: "Great place to stay in Chiangmai"
"We stayed at the Amata Lanna for three days. It is a small and pleasant boutique hotel. There is a swimming pool for just 12 rooms! It is very refreshing to go for a swim in the evening after a day under the hot Thailand sun. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, they gave us fresh fruit juice when we checked in, and was able to give us good direction to the nearby restaurants and attractions. The room was very well designer and in perfect condition. We were happily surprised by how big the room was, and it was very quiet at night. Will definetly stay here again, if I make it back to Chiangmai!"Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "my favourite place to stay in Bangkok"
"from the moment we walked in the door.....we fell in love with this place.....we can not recommend it highly enough! if you want something special, tucked away, unexpected with the most divine attentive staff.....this is it! we will only stay in this gorgeous hotel whenever we choose to visit this city. a very very special place indeed! the attention to detail, the drinks and cocktail choices are just perfect and the rooms to enjoy them in....are so so beautiful. a thai restaurant too with delicious food, a swimming pool, everything is here. all I can say is, we just don't want to leave.....its the perfect get away in a busy bustling city that can be very overwhelming. The Cabachon is an oasis with styling perfection. thank you for having us!"Glenburn Tea Estate: "A piece of paradise"
"The Glenburn tea estate is in the most beautiful place on earth. On the first day we arrived to a warm welcome and I sat in our room looking over the tea gardens with the Himalayas rising majestically up in to the sky beyond I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Will and Faye were the perfect hosts and Parveez is the most enthusiastic person I have ever heard talk about tea. We learnt a great deal from him and can't wait to stock their delicious Darjeeling tea. We were looked after magnificently by all the staff, (especially Mandeep) and our guides were friendly and helpful and being local were a font of knowledge on all the wildlife and fauna and the ways of life for the people on the estate. We even joined in a game of 'Housey Housey'(Bingo) in the streets with the locals! Every evening we had supper around the large dinning table with the other guests and it was like a special dinner party. We met a wide variety of people from all corners of the globe and it was a lovely way to make new friends. It did not feel like a hotel but more like a home where you were always welcome and nothing was too much trouble. This is a hotel that everyone should have on their bucket list and I just hope we can return again one day."Sukoon Houseboat: "Superawesome!!"
Visited sukoon houaeboat on 1/7/15 for 1 night. Awesome experience!! Superb food!! Superb hospitality!! On a higher side if compared to other houseboats, but its incomparable to houseboats!! Its a luxury houseboat!! The staff is very cooperative. Jibin n babu too good!! Visit if u wana seek luxury!! Shikara ride is a must!! Also if lukng for a taxi for complete trip i would recomend out driver mushtaq bhaijaan..(099-06-460370)Excellent person with complete knowledge, knows where to visit and where to shop!!Flower Island: "Stunning, paradise, Robinson Crusoe Island"
"For us this place was perfect. Absolute heaven. Its secluded, quiet, relaxing etc what more can you want? The resort is sympathetic to the environment and the staff are unobtrusive and get on with their job. I say this because I think you need to be aware of these things before booking. Because this is remote I don't think you should expect; Ultra high speed wifi, staff attending to your every need waiting on you hand on foot, luxury Egyptian cotton, etc.. This isn't that kind of place. If you want that go and find a faceless, corporate resort. Instead, check in, turn off your phone, put your swimming trunks on and relax..... The staff were super friendly, and I loved their level of service, approachable, friendly, nice etc... Not uptight in any way. (...) I liked the food, always a good variety - 5-6 pots from which you could help yourself and always plenty of it. Really enjoyed the Pearl Farm, trip a wander around the island and Amber the dog rocks !!!! (and i don't like dogs!!)"Manda De Laos: "Stunning location"
And great Laos food. We has their menu for 2 with two a la Carte dishes for the third fussy member of our party .... and they wanted to help us with ours! Try to go before it is dark to enjoy dusk fallingTugu Malang: "Excellent stay"
Stayed 4N. Fantastic all round services, food, location, hotel ambience. Highly reccomend. Travel from Surabaya a/p to Malang not so convenient -by car took us 3 hrs. Return to Surabaya by executive train to Gubeng, city station- no stress 2 hrs.
