Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Amazing! Can’t wait to go back"

Review by: Srubka | Source: Trip Advisor
"We were there for 3 nights and it was glorious. Everything about this place is perfect: - staff: wonderful, very kind and helpful - rooms: the little huts are just perfect. They are private, wonderfully decorated and have everything one might need. Natural soaps are provided and filtered coffee - grounds: the location is magical. You see the beautiful Annapurna range. MUST DO: get the sunrise coffee and cookies. They will bring it to your room just in time for the sunrise view. Walk up to the pool - there is a beautiful reflection - food- we had all our meals there and everything was absolutely delicious. The Nepalese food is exquisite. Breakfast is lovely. Great coffee and biscuits. Do not hesitate to book this place. You won't regret it. The only danger is that you might not want to leave it. We went for a day to explore Pokhara and kept missing the glorious calm and soothing atmosphere of Tiger resort We will be back! Room Tip: Make sure you eat at the terrace. Get a hot water bottle at night ;)"

Villa Song Saigon: "Wonderful and Relaxing Boutique Hotel. Luxury of a bygone era"

Review by: KayeandDave | Source: Trip Advisor
"French Colonial Property (in District 2) overlooking the Saigon River .... immaculate ... superb !!! Everything about VILLA SONG was superb, including it's location ... so close to the city BUT far enough away, allowing you to fit into the groove of trendy District 2's ever-changing residential area) Friendly staff and very very helpful. Courtesy river transport to and from the city. Grounds magnificent. Pool sparkling. Rooms in keeping with French Colonial theme ... so relaxing ... rain or shine. Breakfast delicious and fine dining at restaurant ... superb. Anything they could do to help you enjoy your stay ... they did. Would go back in a heartbeat !!!!"

JL Studio: "Memorable experience"

Review by: Prevlin | Source: Trip Advisor
"We went to JL Studio to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. The booking process took a while because the phone number is used by the restaurant below and there was some kind of miscommunication, however, all was sorted out. Upon arrival, we were greeted by staff, sat down and offered drinks. I'm quite a talker and it was great that the staff were so friendly and easy to talk to. Our waiter explained to us about the meal that we would soon try. The thing that he made very clear to us is that the progression of meals would be like a journey, that was definitely the perfect way to explain it. Over the 8 or 9 courses, the meal progression was perfectly set up, the flavors were well defined and everything was delicious. When the signature dish came out, the vision was explained to us by Chef Jimmy himself. He stayed a few minutes and spoke to us which was a very nice gesture. I told him that one of my favorite Singaporean dishes was chill crab. He told me that upon my next visit, I'd just need to mention it to him and he would prepare it for me, again, the feeling of importance that he gave me was a nice touch. I'll definitely be going back, hopefully for my own birthday this November."

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Not your usual hotel"

Review by: margaretfM8404FH | Source: Trip Advisor
"This historic building provides a totally different experience to that of modern hotels. The cool, calm quiet of the hotel provides a relaxed environment and the pleasant, helpful staff ensure your needs are met. Good location for old George Town and within walking distance of shopping centres, night food market next door."

Tugu Bali: "Privileged Experience – this is not a hotel, this is a magnificent passion"

Review by: supermarketers | Source: Trip Advisor
I have just returned from a magnificent adventure at Hotel Tugu. I relucantly handed the GM my sword room key as she waved me out the door. I'm not sure what to say, I have travelled to Bali with my grandparents since I was a kid in the 70's and for me the hotel bought back all those fond memories. Tugu is for connecting to the real Bali and I felt privileged to be able to experience it. This is a not a hotel, this is a special place, built by a special man and run by special people. Architecture, culture and history preserved. I felt like I was leaving my second home..... I cannot thank you all enough.

Samanea Beach Resort: "Stunning rooms & views; disappointing food"

Review by: Boboli87 | Source: Trip Advisor
"A great 4 nights here with fantastic villas (they are enormous and luxurious) and breathtaking views over the bay. It was a perfect place to chill out. Don't expect a buzzing environment, everyone seemed to be here to unwind which was perfect for us. The pool was fab. The views are fantastic but don't expect to walk into the sea. There is a manmade beach but no natural beach (although no-where in kep seemed to have this unless you visit the Islands) but this didn't bother us at all. Unfortunately food was a bit of a let down. Breakfast was tasty and fresh (you can order as many items as you want) but otherwise dishes were far to small and expensive for what was served. Eat out in town for better food"

MesaStila Resort and Spa: "Coffee Plantation on-site knowledge"

Review by: Yessica H | Source: Trip Advisor
I benefited my trip to Magelang to visit coffee plantation here (previously known as Losari plantation). The guided tour by the resort staff was very informative. It cost some Rp 200k. Arabica, robusta, and excelsa types of coffee are grown on this site. It was unfortunately not the harvest season. I could only imagine the process between the harvest and roasting. I savoured Javanese robusta in kopi toebroek method, as well as whole-bean roasted coffee that I chewed with palm sugar lump. It tasted like coffee candy.

Sandat Glamping Tents: "Birthday Vacation"

Review by: Kiela M | Source: Trip Advisor
"My boyfriend & I traveled to Bali for my 25th birthday for 10 days! We stayed in multiple locations all over Bali, but for my actual birthday I wanted to make sure I stayed in Ubud. We chose to stay at Sandat, for two nights! From the moment we got there they immediately made us feel welcomed! We stayed in the Ylang Ylang Luxury Suite Tent, and it was more than perfect. When we walked into the Villa, they had spelled out ""Happy Birthday"" in flowers on the bed! On top of that every single person there knew it was my birthday so whenever I walked by someone new, they all stoped to tell me happy birthday! The room was incredible, and the pool was very refreshing! At Sandat, you truly feel like you're one with nature, it's amazing. We ate in the common area as much as we could, because the food was DELICIOUS, and the staff so friendly. Each morning/night they would set the tables with different and beautiful tables linens! They are very ""eco-friendly"" and I enjoyed every minute of being there. The location is perfect - just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the streets of ubud, and the shuttle service they provide is excellent! On our last morning we enjoyed hot stone massages by our pool - perfect way to end our stay! The ONLY THING I would say needs some improvement, are the beds... they are tolerable, but a memory foam mattress topper would definitely make it more comfortable! I would like to give a special thank you to Ms. Putu, who helped with our reservations and was so accommodating! As well as a big thank you to Tengo - he was a pleasure to speak with! Everyone there is so great! You will not regret booking with Sandat. When we come back to Bali, we will for sure be staying at Sandat; it's very magical. - Kiela"

The Cabochon Hotel: "What a gem"

Review by: Petertrish2015 | Source: Trip Advisor
Perfect boutique hotel. An oasis in the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Newly built in an old style but you would never guess - very comfortable and well furnished. Good swimming pool on the roof. Very nice staff.
