Heritage Suites: "Amazing Boutique Hotel"
"I stayed at the Heritage Suite Hotel for a friends wedding and it was literally the most beautiful experience. The staff are beyond helpful and lovely. The rooms are amazing. The pool is so serene! The food is amazing and I had the best time there. Highly recommended!"Tugu Malang: "prachtig hotel in koloniale stijl"
"mooie schone luxe kamers aan een vijver. Ontbijt heerlijk en uitgebreid. Theetijd moet je zeker meemaken; koekjes en dawet waren erg lekker. Hotel ligt in het centrum aan een groot plein. Fietstocht met John was een succes vooral het gekleurde dorpje aan de rivier Brantas sungei. Personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam Alle ruimtes waren smaakvol ingericht en een aanrader voor iedereen."Maduzi Hotel: "Unexpected pleasure"
I wasn't expecting much from the street view. What a nice room. I was particularly impressed with the tub. The staff were very helpful and polite. I highly recommend the food. Try something unique to the restaurant. They clearly have a chef and not just a cook. The flavor combinations were unexpected and delightful.Villa Song Saigon: "Absolutely grand"
Beautiful hotel , Restaraunt and Spa . Old time Elegance situated on the river . Very grand , can't praise enough . Delightful place to sit on the Terrace overlooking the river for a late afternoon cocktail . Bliss . Soft lighting hanging from trees in garden makes for a very romantic setting .Reverie Siam: "Peace in Pai"
Reverie Siam Resort provided the peace we were seeking in Pai as it is located away from the tourist fray. All aspects of the property were outstanding, including the beautiful room and friendly staff. Our two meals in the restaurant were phenomenal. We hope to visit again!Mathis Retreat: "A lush oasis"
"Loved my stay at Mathis Retreat. A little bit removed from the hustle and bustle of Ubud town centre, it was the perfect place to relax after days spent travelling and exploring. From the leisurely breakfasts over looking the verdant rice fields, to the spacious room (Garden Bungalow) and of course the friendly staff, it ticked all the boxes. The room itself was airy and spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom reasonably large. Only complaint was the positioning of the power points, which meant devices could be charged or used, but not both at the same time. It would be helpful to have accessible power points near the bedside tables. The breakfast food options were plentiful, and I appreciated the fresh fruit juices and homemade jams. Recommend the pineapple pancakes, if you choose the Western breakfast option, but even better was the vegetarian nasi goreng. The vegetarian dinner options were a bit limited which was a bit disappointing. The staff were really lovely and it was nice to be welcomed by the owner, made the experience a little more personal than the usual hotel stay. The wifi connection was good and the free shuttle service was easy to use, making short work of the trip to and from the town centre. It may be a bit pricier than some of the hotels closer to the town centre, but it was definitely worth! Would definitely stay here again if ever in Ubud."David’s Kitchen: "Wine tasting and apps to match each"
Absolutely fabulous!!!!! All the wines were great and the finger food, yum yum. Lamb lollipops, scallops, shrimp and pork. All terrific. The tasting cost 900 tb per person and well worth it. We're going back and have checked out the menu and have picked a 7 course tasting. We figure without wine it will cost 4,000-4,500 tb. Very expensive but we hope worth it. Well deserved reputation, we'll let you know if it's worth the cash. Bon Appetite!Sukoon Houseboat: "Wonderful relaxing experience"
The Sukoon houseboat is a super luxurious and comfortable houseboat. We had a wonderful time. The staf is super, very helpful and were really taking super good care of us. The breakfast on the sundeck was an absolute highlight. This houseboat is a bit away from the overcrowded part of the lake so you can really enjoy the beatiful view on the lake at sunset and sunrise!4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Relaxing break after siem Reap"
"Lovely break after the heat of the temples. About 4-5 hours trip by car from Phnom Penh but worth the journey From the welcome drink on arrival to the staff coming to the jetty to wave us goodbye when we left it was a great few days. Lovely staff and great food. The tents are very large and very well fitted out. (Nothing like the tents I remember from girl guiding)We had intended to go to the waterfall but it was so relaxing sitting on our deck watching the river we did not bother but everyone else really enjoyed the trip. We had a massage which was very reasonable, ask for the gentle version!!! The staff were lovely my husband has mobility problems and everyone was really helpful If you visit Cambodia and have the time visit Four Rivers you will have a great time"4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Relaxing and very different experience than usual hotel/resort!"
"We stayed here for three nights and had a brilliant experience. I was a bit concerned I would get bored with nothing much to do as I knew it wasn’t possible to go off trekking into the country. However, there were a number of trips at no extra charge. We went on the boat to visit a local village one day and saw how the school operated and the challenges facing the villagers. We were welcomed into the village by the people, cows who strolled down to see us, together with the dogs and chickens! On our way back we were able to kayak down the mangroves and see another aspect of the area and also challenge ourselves ... kayaking is OK if you know how to do it well although we managed not to kayak completely into the mangroves! It was good fun and the guides follow closely to help out. In the evening we took a short trip down to see the fireflies which were amazing but also it was beautiful to see all the stars in the sky which can be a rare sight when you live in a busy UK town. The other trip we took was to the waterfall which was great. It’s trickey to go across the rocks but the guide was really helpful showing us the way and supporting us. You could swim in the water there and it was really warm and a great experience. On each trip we had lunch prepared for us and we could eat it on the boat. Meals were exceptionally good and breakfast was great as you had a number of choices which were brought to you .. so much nicer than wandering around a buffet breakfast. Staff generally were brilliant and all were exceptionally supportive and if they didn’t know the answer to a query would find out the answer for us. Finally, the tent itself. It was so unusual but comfortable and had everything you needed. It didn’t have wi fi etc but that’s not exactly the ‘end of the world’ ... we were there for a different experience and that’s what we got. The bed was really comfortable and it was great when the tent gently rocked sometimes. We would definitely visit again and I could thoroughly recommend it."
