jing: "Why did we stay only one night?"
"Actually, the answer to the question in the title of this review is that we didn't have more time to spend on holiday. Our greatest mistake was not having two nights at this lovely hotel. Imam at reception was kind and welcoming. He made us feel right at home. The room was gorgeous and the courtyards of the hotel are lovely. The hotel is so quiet - it was the best night sleep we had the whole holiday! The breakfast was off a menu and the choices were both Chinese and Western. And both of our choices were delicious. We also decided to eat dinner at the hotel. It was ""upscale"" pricewise, but the food was excellent and well presented. We also were able to try some of the local dishes which we would have missed out on if we were just wandering the streets. We would recommend this hotel to anyone - and we hope that one day we will find ourselves back in the Jing Residence.... "tugu bali: "Relax in luxury"
"For a long weekend we traveled to Malang and Mt. Bromo. Hotel Tugu was very well maintained, but the superb service from absolutely the best Indonesian staff. All the meals were presented artfully with an excellent balance of spices. We attended the once monthly cultural dinner with a Central Javanese tale told with music and dance. It was a great experience. The couples 4 hour spa and romantic dinner was a great way to relax on our final full day in paradise. Couple you must stay here if you visit Malang! "CHAKRABONGSE VILLAS: "A palace"
It's not often you get to stay in a real palace. And the Traditional Thai teak sala hotel rooms on its palace grounds are unique and remarkable. Our room fronted the Chao Praya river, and candidly, our private lanai/patio was double the size of most hotel rooms these days. Not cheap, but an experience. And perfect for that very very special celebration Best of all, Tatien district, which is behind the royal palace and Wat Po, is experiencing a revival with new eateries, things to do and trendy hotels. We loved the Museum Siam directly across from Chakrabongse Villas, and the River Books bookstore o hotel premises. Don't miss nearby Err restaurant, traditional Thai from the folks that gave us bo.lan.Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Very special meal with great food, cocktails and service"
"We weren't impressed by the food in Cambodia with the exception of this meal, which we would love to revisit again and again! Thankfully for the prices (high by cambodian standards but low by international standards) this would actually be feasible!) The food: - Was outstanding, with lots of attention to detail and fresh ingredients! - Everything we ate was unusual and interesting with tons of different components and very involved preparation. Each dish was unique in its own way and delicious! - They have a set menu but it doesn't feel limiting because you can choose between two meal options as well as a vegetarian menu - The cocktails were incredibly delicious and there was a huge variety to choose from! The service: - Was wonderful with very attentive staff who made sure that we were enjoying everything and understood what we were eating and drinking. They brought out very cool little interesting fruits for dessert after our meal which we really enjoyed!"Villa Song Saigon: "Excellent service & quality"
We were very happy with our stay at Villa Song starting from check-in, room, bed, view, spa, service, staff, dinner, sleep to breakfast an check-out. We will be back for sure! It's like an oasis in HCMC/Thao Dien.Maduzi Hotel: "Perfect place"
A great summary of what you can expect in Bangkok - great place, wonderful people! Further the location also couldn't be better if looking for getting easily around in Bangkok. Overall perfect stay and for sure I will come back in due course. The Tiger’s Eye: "Superbe Dining in The Penh"
Truly a superb dining experience in a lovely, modern setting. This is probably one of the best in Phnom Penh, but the price is very reasonable considering the quality you're getting! Everything is amazing, from the cocktails, salads, main courses and desert. They have many vegetarian options and a great selection of wine, and they make their own bread, which is amazing, don't forget to get the bread!! Truly a lovely restaurant, either for a casual lunch with friends or a romantic dinner... They also make a great brunch. Highly recommended!Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Lovely, homey, cozy escape."
This is a blissful, little get-away. The staff are sincerely helpful and very hospitable. I am always pleased when a resort is built around the nature which must have existed on the land before it came to be. Thus, it was lush and naturally becoming. The rooms are very comfortable, quaint with a surprisingly good attention on the little details. I highly recommend Maison Wat Kor.THE SAMAR: "Boutique Hotel"
Only a 4 day stay,I wish it had been longer. So much to recommend about this hidden gem The rooms are luxurious fantastic bathroom.Only 9 suites and 20 odd staff to look after you swimming pool sunbeds everything cratered for plus the restaurant and food were out of this world. If you get the chance stay here you will not be disappointed . Plus of course it is central to to Ankor Wat and the other numerous temples.Dewakan: "still good….very good"
"fusion food.. east meets west. using all the local herbs and spices to produce fine dining atmosphere. amazing and impressive. location could be better but it is nice to leave the city area for such a treat. well worth a try... well done chefs! keep it up."
