"Being a local, coming here felt like an 'easy escape.' Not much travelling needed but gives every good feeling a getaway would. Room is clean, tastefully decorated. The place felt very private which is perfect for if you want to 'escape' from people and just have a me time with yourself and your partner. Food is decent but don't expect much. However, having a quiet dinner by the pool and a rustic wooden decorated place helps a lot in adding the 'taste' to the food - in a good way. There isn't really much to do there - but that's what getaway are all about - you really just want to spent time in the room, doing nothing. Perfect for a romantic getaway. I stayed in the Garden suite which has a private pool and open air bathroom, along with a private garden and Koi pond...it was one of the most luxurious and lovely hotel stays of my life! Every detail was carefully crafted for my arrival. It was my birthday the day I arrived, and the staff had prepared a special cake and flower arrangement for me in my room. Not to mention that every night there was a simple yet beautiful Balinese offering of frangipani flowers with woven palm leaves and a poem on my bed. The private pool with swing was so enjoyable after a nice day at the beach, and the bathroom with private spa tub was almost like being in a private spa. The breakfast was delicious, the hotel surroundings itself beautiful and serene. Next door you have the beach and several restaurants and boutiques and massage places, and it is still removed from the craziness of Kuta and Seminyak. It’s hard to explain Slow in so few words. We landed with busy city brains and two kids and we left two weeks later as islanders. The staff at Slow were amazing. I felt like they took us into this cosy family. It’s been three weeks since we left and I still miss the breakfasts. The rooms were a blend of modern luxury and traditional design. All day long the sun shone and we splashed in our own private pool. After dinner there was usually a rainstorm which the kids loved. We spent our evenings listening to the tokay gecko chiming and the crickets chirping while we played cards. "My mum and I stayed here in the luxury tent and it was fantastic. I poked my nose in the more Safari style tent and it was too basic for me but other people seemed to enjoy the adventure. The luxury lodge was air conditioned, spacious, comfortable, ensuite, hot water etc... the lounge for pre and post dinner drinks was welcoming and friendly, the food was AMAZING and the chef will do a cooking demo if you ask. We saw six leopards over four drives, just delighted. We used the back gate of block one and also block five. Such a pleasant experience, not crowded and very successful. When we checked out they asked for feedback, I said a pool would be good - half joking! It's coming! But it's fantastic without anyway. Go go go! "Beautiful hotel !!!! Large property with beautiful grounds . Many places to sit and enjoy a romantic evening. Staff in this place is utterly great . From security till manager all are great people . "Stayed here with family in the second week of May. Though not the best period to visit this place (it being peak summer).....we had initially planned for 2 Nights, but then extended our stay by one more Night. We had booked 7 villas and everyone of us had a wonderful time. Firstly, thanks to Allaah, who made this possible. He is the best of planners. The property is just beautiful, with well designed villas, top class hygiene and very warm and courteous staff. Everyone, right from Front Desk, House Keeping to the Restaurant are very courteous and friendly. And the F&B Manager and the GM go the extra mile to make your stay memorable. "Cute boutique hotel in this lovely Unesco city with a colonial arquitecture. We were sad living this place, lovely staff, amazing Navitha (hope name is well written) who welcomes every guest of the hotel, she advised us where to go, eat, do....she was so helpful!! If it wasn't for he we would have missed many things there. We wish we could remember every single staff name, from reception to cleaners, waiters, they are all super professional. Service is exquisite, a la carte and with local food options. Free bikes to go around which were so handy. Bed has a mosquito net that they prepared for us everyday. What can I say about this place? "We visited Villa Song on our last night in Vietnam. What a wonderful boutique Hotel. The staff could not be more helpful The room we had was on the ground floor with access to the pool area, the room was spacious and very comfortable.
