Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Great hotel"
Excellently located hotel, right by the river front. The rooms (suites) are super - very large and stylishly furnished, and makes for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The surprise New Year's gifts were totally unexpected and a really wonderful thought. The breakfast was the best we had on our trip - we could have spent an hour just eating - with a huge selection of dishes to order and a panoramic view of the river. The free welcome drink is also excellent - can choose anything from their drinks menu including cocktails etc.jing: "Why did we stay only one night?"
"Actually, the answer to the question in the title of this review is that we didn't have more time to spend on holiday. Our greatest mistake was not having two nights at this lovely hotel. Imam at reception was kind and welcoming. He made us feel right at home. The room was gorgeous and the courtyards of the hotel are lovely. The hotel is so quiet - it was the best night sleep we had the whole holiday! The breakfast was off a menu and the choices were both Chinese and Western. And both of our choices were delicious. We also decided to eat dinner at the hotel. It was ""upscale"" pricewise, but the food was excellent and well presented. We also were able to try some of the local dishes which we would have missed out on if we were just wandering the streets. We would recommend this hotel to anyone - and we hope that one day we will find ourselves back in the Jing Residence.... "Mathis Retreat: "Le Must"
What happiness to have chosen this hotel for 3 nights in Ubud. I had heard so much noise in the city that I had decided to be a bit outside. Beautiful views of the rice fields. I stayed in a deluxe room. All rooms have views of the rice fields. Lots of charm in decoration. Warning only bathtub in the bathroom if He is apparently so go to the bungalow (shower and bath). A small dej to die. jams to die for .... The restaurant is excellent too. A very good chef director Karine fuss of these customers A short Paradis4 rivers: "A hidden gem"
We only stayed two nights at 4 Rivers Lodge but it was totally worth it and stunning! We have been very much happy with this experience! it's the best way to relax and be in contact with the nature: no wifi, phone, no TV, no computer. We spent our days cooling off in the Tatai River, phishing, kayaking, having a massage, discovering the little island in front of the resort and trying out the excellent fresh food available at the restaurant. All the tents are very private and comfortable. The shower is a gem! It was simply an amazing experience that we'll never forget! we are happy we chose this place for our honeymoon trip! so peaceful and immersed in the wildest nature of Cambodia! Also, the staff is very friendly and nice! An amazing experience! The Village House: "Great stay away from the buzz"
"We stayed in April, trip with my mother. This hotel was a little further out but they were so great at helping to arrange transport and packages before we arrived: orang utans, bake national park etc. The hotel was small, simple, clean, the staff were friendly and very helpful, but what was most surprising was the food! It was delicious, perfectly prepared. A walk along the beautiful, wild beach is also definitely recommended. Not a swimming, crystal clear waters beach, but wild and gorgeous. I would recommend for a quiet getaway in a great location!"Locavore: "Best dining experience ever had"
Perfection! Each course was an explosion of color and flavor. True art. Though small portions, this allowed you to try each dish without getting full and get to enjoy to the end. In the end, you were satiated with a 2 1/2hr performance. The kitchen had more chefs than customers. Each with own role and working calmly and harmoniously as a team. This was very impressive how they created art! Would definitely go again.Tugu Bali: "Sleep in a museum: luxury retreat in traditional Balinese style"
"his lovely hotel is a great place to stay in Bali. The location is absolutely fabulous as Canggu is THE hotspot in Bali right now and Tugu Bali is situated in the epicentrum of this popular area. Seriously the best hotel location in Bali. Around the hotel you will find the most popular surf beaches and the crowd in this surfer villag is young and hip. There are great places to eat around, all hip and trendy. So is also the Japanese restaurant attached to the resort. Great food! The rooms are super spacious and extremely lovely. It was a lovely stay in the Dedari suite and the bed is king king king king size, so huge! There was a private pool with complete privacy in the garden. The bathroom is super cute as it has window that open over a fishpond: feels like taking a bath with koi fishes. The resort is super quiet and there are guards running around to make sure only guests walk around. Disappointed is the WiFi signal, which hardly works. The restaurant and lobby has a pretty ok connection, but in 2016 you want it in your room to work. This is definitely something the hotel should improve, especially in hip and modern Canggu. The breakfast can be served at all times during the day everywhere you wish, so you just order it a la carte and it will be served on the bed, in your garden or on the beach. Oh it is delicious!!!! Try out the lovely complimentary high tea, indulge yourself with local sweets. Such a great service as well! The staff is super nice and always willing to help you wherever you can. The 60min massage we took was ok. Good, just not the best ever!. All in all Tugu resort is one of my favorite places to stay in Bali. The friendly staff, the lovely quiet location, the spacious rooms, the delicious breakfast and so on... Def will go back!"SANDAT GLAMPING TENTS: "Enchanting stay at Sandat Glamping Tents"
"We stayed only 1 night with friends in suite tents. The place is really what you can see on the website. Just fantastic, no insects, clean place, good food, nice deep private pool not too cold. Will come back when in Bali again "The Cabochon Hotel: "Beautiful place, lovely stay"
Had a wonderful stay here recently. The building itself was a wonder, and the rooftop pool a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Breakfast was excellent, as were the staff. Wish we had stayed more than the one night, so will have to return next time we are in Bangkok.Rachamankha: "A perfect oasis in the city"
It is everything that all the positive reviews have been about. The perfect getaway for someone who needs a beautiful ambience, and oh so different from the cookie cutter chains with their flashy marble foyers and crystal chandeliers. Truly a boutique hotel. Small enough for personal service but large enough to provide all the comforts needed. A beautifully maintained garden, extremely tasteful. A credit to the owners who I gather live within the compound. Incidentally it is well located, within the old walled city. Highly recommended.
