tugu malang: "So luxurious"
"Our group of five arrived at Hotel Tugu by train late in the afternoon. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff who assisted us to check in. While our luggage was taken to our room we enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea. The hotel is like staying in a museum. Tours are available but we were short of time. We enjoyed dinner by the pool before going to bed. We were woken at 12.30am and set out on our adventure to see the sunrise on Mount Bromo. This is a spectacular sight and well worth the journey. Warm clothing is definitely required. Don't forget your camera. We returned early morning to the hotel and had a few hours of sleep. That night we booked dinner in the King's room which is absolutely magnificent with so much to look at and so much history. We felt like Royalty seated at the table as we ate our meal. The staff went out of their way to make it a very memorable occasion for us. Next morning, after breakfast by the pool, our stay sadly came to an end we left for the airport. This hotel was one of the best that we have stayed in. We will definitely return again as our stay wasn't long enough to see everything that Malang has to offer. "Labyrinth: "Great Singaporean influences"
I like how the menu is deisgned with our local food in mind. Most of the food executed were excellent. Wines were a little dissapointing though.Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "What an adventure!"
"We really enjoyed this experience and highly recommend it. The team is fantastic. No detail is overlooked. We asked them to arrange transportation for us from our hotel in Tangalle to their campsite. The driver was there right on time and took us to the rendezvous point where they were waiting for us. We went to the camp, had an orientation about the day, enjoyed an absolutely delicious lunch before we rested a bit and then headed out for our first game drive. The staff here are very professional, experienced and knowledgable. You can tell this is a passion for them. What I didn't expect was absolutely delicious food!!! The food was spectacular!! A real treat. Part of me wanted to stay another night just for the meals! The happy hour was also really fun. They are great at making you feel at home. The luxury tent was as beautiful as it looks in the photos. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. I also thought the bathroom was pretty cool and enjoyed the shower. The game drives were great fun. We didn't see any leopards (there was a closure of a section of the park with the highest concentration due to drought -- we were here offseason) but really it didn't matter because we saw so many other animals and birds. The elephants were my favorite. The staff thinks ahead about your needs. It was raining so they provided ponchos, there's water in the vehicle, binoculars, books about animals in case you want to reference something, etc. If you want a unique experience with a team who is as passionate about the environment as they are about the animals, I highly recommend Noel Rodrigo's Leopard Safaris. When we left, we planted a tree and that was really special for us. I appreciated the way they make you feel like the most valued guest they've ever had."Jings-residence: "A haven of peace"
"We stayed at Jing's Residence for 2 nights and this was really a wonderful experience. After the noise and the crowd of the city , Jing's Residence offers a quiet and peaceful environment, sophisticated yet making you feel like in a friend's or family home. From the rooms and exquisite decoration, to the restaurant and the staff, everything was perfect. We celebrated my father's birthday there and the staff was very kind and thoughtful. I also tested the spa which was a very pleasant moment. This is truly one of our best experience in China."Tugu Bali: "Privileged Experience – this is not a hotel, this is a magnificent passion"
I have just returned from a magnificent adventure at Hotel Tugu. I relucantly handed the GM my sword room key as she waved me out the door. I'm not sure what to say, I have travelled to Bali with my grandparents since I was a kid in the 70's and for me the hotel bought back all those fond memories. Tugu is for connecting to the real Bali and I felt privileged to be able to experience it. This is a not a hotel, this is a special place, built by a special man and run by special people. Architecture, culture and history preserved. I felt like I was leaving my second home..... I cannot thank you all enough.Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Heavenly"
"This gem of a place in northern Kerala was like heaven on earth. Very elegant and huge rooms with an even more gorgeous bathroom. The beach (Arabian sea) was just perfect and very clean. The food served was really delicious and fresh. We did not take any of the guided tours offered, but I presume that is good as well. Overall, we had a perfect and peaceful holiday at Neeleshwar! "Reverie Siam Pai: "Glad we stayed here!"
It was a great place to come back to from busy Pai. Just 5 mins from Main St by free shuttle service. Fabulous room with mountain views, private terrace. Loved the garden setting and pool areas. Excellent varied breakfast is made to order. We had pre-dinner drinks each evening but didn't have dinner there as it was Spanish-Italian food. Was hoping for upscale Thai. They also have a cute shop onsite but it was usually closed with no signage. Lovely staff. Wasn't crazy about a Pai but this hotel made our stay worthwhile. The River Resort: "Spectacular"
This is one of the loveliest places I've ever stayed. The rooms are beautifully designed, the setting is stunning, the staff are both very friendly and highly professional, and we had a really lovely stay. Highly recommended.Satri House: "Absolute oasis of calm and tranquility"
After the hustle of Hanoi we flew into Luang Prabang and spent 3 nights at the Satri House Hotel, it was superb. In easy walking distance from the town centre, fantastic beautifully furnished room and lovely grounds with charming pool. The staff were also first class --- I can't think of a single criticism. We have travelled in Indochina before and use trip advisor regularly but this is the first time I have ben moved to write a review ---it was excellent.Sandat Glamping Tents: "Magic place"
Sandat is really our kind of experience, exclusive tents beautifully designed and decorated, off beat location, far from the crowd, very warm staff who played with our daughter, 2 and half years old who enjoyed so much, great breakfast, a Must in Ubud !
