Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Amazing Experience on Peacock Safari"
Fantastic. Despite not seeing any leopards (which is very unlucky so we have heard) my family and I had a lovely time. The food was beyond delicious, the staff were so attentive (one staff member per guest) and while it was camping, the set up made it feel very luxurious. The 5am wake-ups were a challenge but were balanced by the yummy breakfast we received on return, and the fun of the safari. We stayed over NYE and the staff made sure to make it a special evening- celebrating a "Singapore" NYE with Moet at 9pm due to our early wake up the next morning. We were even treated to an amazing "leopard dance" by Silva. He was a staff member who is an ex dancer and it was phenomenal!Slow Villas and Spa: "Serenity"
"We stayed at these villas last weekend for two nights. The villas are comfortable, with a small pool in your own private garden, the food is delicious, being cooked for you on-site and then delivered to your room. Highly recommended. A complementary massage is included in your stay, and Julie, the high-energy co-owner and manager of the Villas, conducts a complementary Pilates session. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The one aspect that I would suggest to improve the experience is if real coffee could be used instead of instant, in the breakfast cafetière so, a small point I know, but there some fantastic Indonesian coffees to choose from."Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Blue Peace"
"The Blue Mansion has been restored beautifully and it felt like a privilege to stay there. The rooms were beautiful, I slept in an adjoining room to my daughters which worked out perfectly. The little extras were thoughtful and enhanced the experience. Breakfast was fabulous. The staff were warm friendly and helpful, and their knowledge of Georgetown very useful. Would definitely recommend this beautiful hotel. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"THE SAMAR: "Perfect sanctuary after seeing the temples"
I've traveled through Siem Reap visiting Angkor Wat a few times now and know that even if you don't spend a lot of time in your hotel, after a long day of exploring the temples it's feels really nice to come back to a special space to relax and recharge. After the temple crowds, I loved The Samar's quiet charm and tranquility. I also really appreciated the Khmer-inspired architecture and free facial -- such a perk!Reverie Siam Pai: "Beautiful hotel with real character"
This is the best hotel in Pai. It's a little way out of the centre but they do have a cute little shuttle which is more like a glorified golf buggy. The whole place is designed beautifully with a theme of 1920's jazz era, and this is executed really well. It's got real soul. It's a lovely place to hang out, rooms are large, bathrooms are huge, pool is great and the views are divine. The Island Lodge: "Amazing stay in this hotel !"
We spend 5 nights in this hotel, everything was perfect : rooms are nice and full furnished, very quiet environment ! And the owners of this paradise Françoise and Michel are so nice and helpful. The restaurant is also amazing (you have test quiche lorraine and fondant chocolat). I warmly recommend this place if you want a fantastic stay in Vietnam.Mathis Retreat: "Lovely boutique hotel – perfect hideaway"
"I stayed here for a week and I miss it everyday! For the first part of the week, it was me and a girlfriend who came to Ubud to get away from the city, do a little exploring and do some yoga. We weren't sure if we wanted to stay in Ubud the whole time or go somewhere else in Bali, but after two nights, we extended our stay. One of our favourite things was having breakfast looking at out the private rice fields every morning, it was so relaxing. The pool had the perfect view. The hotel had a really good balance between a tranquil relaxed vibe, without being sleepy, and had some really good tunes throughout the day by the pool too (I ended up asking them for their playlist). The hotel was just a 10 minute scooter ride into town, which meant everything was really accessible without it being crazy all the time. My friend ended up going home early and I stayed on for an extra 2 days. The staff took such good care of me. And as a solo female traveler, safety is extremely important. They was so lovely and even taught me some Indonesian. The GM was super lovely and very hands on, she would come by and chat with the guests, without being intrusive. It was such a wonderful trip and the hotel was a huge part of it. Seriously, great rooms, great resto (really good food!), great view and great staff. I would definitely come back!"Hotel Tugu Bali: "Excellent property, very helpful staff"
"We stayed in a Rejang suite. The room was great, and the sunken bathtub + some candles made for nice, romantic evenings. The rest of the property was beautiful. The rooftop bar overlooking the ocean was a great place to wind down at the end of the day. The staff was awesome. They went above and beyond to make our vacation stress + hassle free."Jing’s Residence: "Live like a weathly merchant in Ancient China! The Real Experience!"
"I was a wealthy merchant 500 years ago...my home was full of carved wood and art and lavish fabrics..I had a staff eager to please my every need..I sat in my warm lush living room looking at the last bits of the sun as it set over my ornate terra cotta roof... This is a review of Mr Jings Residence..where you get to pretend to live in another time and place... Pingyao is an ancient walled city cut off from car traffic that looks and operates as it has for a thousand years. If you want to experience historical China this is the place to visit! It's crowded with Chinese tourists in spring and summer but still a must see. In a day you can do a quick tour and see the many restored museums, temples and explore the nooks and and secret walkways that make up this city. (...)The courtyards and sitting spaces laced into the ancient buildings..all your own private sanctuary in warmer weather... The restaurant chef and Jing's Restaurant staff were excellent. Unlike a lot of problems with service in China, the folks at Jing's were helpful, friendly and eager to please. A diverse menu of Thai, Chinese and western food was great. Their spring rolls were light, crispy and perfect!!! My Thai peanut chicken was sooo good! I wondered how the chef could source food in the dead of winter..but amazingly he did!My husband had pork that was fresh and savory. The folks at Jing's were always there to help..they even packed us a picnic of banana chocolate bread for our train ride to Beijing. This place is ancient, quiet and yet modern and luxurious. A must do for any visit to China! Bluntly, I would put Pingyao on any travel plan just to stay at Jing's Residence...It was that good!"Rachamankha: "Rachamanka Hotel Chiang Mai, what an oasis in a bustling city"
"We arrived at the Rachamanka Hotel after being in Bangkok for 3 days. What a little oasis this is with its little courtyards, beautiful bedrooms with wooden doors and relaxing pool area. This is a really tranquil place, not for young kids, as this is somewhere to relax by the pool, visit the massage area or library. The whole place is quality with antiques around the whole place. Breakfast is superb, with a great choice and all made to order, no buffet here! Lots of attentive and helpful staff. This place deserves the high certification it comes with. It simply has an air of calm and quality which must be appreciated. Do not expect to have too rush around in a hurry this is quality and tranquility, there are not many places like this around. Its a must stay in Chiang Mai and right by the attractions, but without any noise. Stunningly beautiful."
