Sukoon Houseboat: "houseboats in Srinagar"
we stayed at sukoon houseboat on our Kashmir trip location in photographer paradise ambience free from hustle and bustle food is good houseboat is excellent with modern facilities Mr. Bashir and his staffs are very helpful and nice MEMORABLE tripGolden Buddha Beach Resort: "Perfect desert island"
Heavenly escape. Stunning empty beaches and classy set up. Individual beach houses with a central clubhouse which served up delicious and sophisticated menu with a limited but daily changing menu. This is not for folk who like to dress up for dinner in their best clothes. But perfect for anyone looking for a trendy but very relaxed vibe. Each beach hut is owned by individuals so each one different. Huts on beach are lovely. Sea lulls you to sleep.Everything was gorgeous but in an understated way. Travelling with husband and two young adult kids and we all loved it. Spa good and bar had a pool table. Nothing much to do - no shopping or places to go. Just beach, snorkelling, market trips, a boat, yoga and total unwind. Great staff. Perfect if quiet and peaceful is what you're looking for.Villa Song: "What a wonderful gem of a hotel"
"I stayed in this lovely hotel for three nights and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Let’s start with the property, the Villa is so beautiful and charming. The furnishings are well appointed and the size of the room itself is comfortable and roomy. The bathroom was especially relaxing with everything you would need. The room comes with a complimentary mini-bar that is re-stocked daily and the bed was so comfortable. The grounds are inviting with a super large lap pool and a small but very adequate gym. Start your day with breakfast sitting next to the Saigon River and finish with a cocktail while relaxing next to the river. The staff is superb and very knowledgeable, the manager definitely is of top quality and explains why the staff is the same. They assisted me with booking a tour of the Mekong and I was very satisfied. I will definitely stay at this property on a future visit. If planning a trip to Saigon, definitely stay at the Villa Song as you won’t be disappointed. Make sure you eat as many meals as possible as the it is a gastronomical delight that will leave your palate dancing for days."The River Resort: "Magical Mekong River views – with good food and a spa!"
"We stayed three nights at this lush and green, rather smart resort, arranged for us by Selective Asia. Our family villa room was upstairs, with a balcony and absolutely wonderful views over the Mekong. Great to watch the fishermen at sunrise from the balcony or from bed, with a cup of tea made in our room, or enjoy a drink from the minibar listening to the crickets as the sun set. A magical spot indeed. You’ll need your anti mosquito lotion for sitting out in this location, but the resort villa rooms have good nets and our room was realatively easy to keep mosquito free! We ate at the hotel open air restaurant every evening and found plenty to choose from, with a good range of western and Asian options. We enjoyed all our meals, and service was excellent. Breakfast was good too, but we would have liked some more bread options as well as the rather sweet slices there were to toast (e.g. brown?) - but maybe that’s not available at this slightly remote location. One of us had a massage at the spa, which was great and a lovely option to have right on site. Hotel provided us with a boat crossing to meet our guide at the opposite river bank, which was ideal and very prompt and comfortable. We also had laundry done, which was not expensive and very convenient. Sadly we didn’t get chance to use the free bikes. All in all a wonderful spot and a lovely exclusive hotel, and we loved having it as our base for exploring the Mekong River and the nearby Wat Phou UNESCO Site."Discover Muang La | Visit Laos | Luxury & Boutique Hotel: "Unforgettable stay!"
"My two days in Muang La were over my high expectations. Everything was fabulous from the location to all the attentions and details of service. The staff is so generous and warm with a special mention to the Lao staff who try and manage to speak English and to provide standard keys of hospitality services to the guest. I loved the deck, the meals all different every night, the pool overlooking the river, the hot springs and the hike to the falls we did with our guide. I loved this escape ... thank you to Raphael and his assistant to make this lodge and experience fabulous"Rachamankha: "A true oasis in the old city"
"A beautiful hotel, going into the hotel grounds means truly leaving the city behind, in a lot of ways it is a world of its own, so peaceful. The pool is wonderful, pictures don't do it justice. The staff are so friendly and provide excellent service. Breakfast was amazing. We had diner at the restaurant one night (we did want to experience something of the outside Chiang Mia on the other nights!) and it was wonderful and excellent value for a restaurant of this quality. I would definitely be wanting to say here again if we get back to Chiang Mia. At first we found it difficult to find our way walking to central Chiang Mia given the entrance is off what seems like a series of lanes. We found the best was to walk across one road and into what is the back entrance of the largest temple in Chiang Mia. Walking through the temple grounds and out the front entrance helped get our bearings for the location of the hotel. The hotel is a fair way from the night markets (about a 30~40 minute walk) although transport is cheap and easy to find if you don't want to walk, of course the hotel can book a taxi, or go the front of the temple or out to the cannel to find a way tuk tuk."Muang La Lodge: "Peaceful place with very accommodating staff"
"The staff, premises and rooms make this place wonderful. Staff is extremely accommodating and anticipates every need. You don't ever get ""no"" as an answer. The amount of effort the staff gives is unmatched, especially in such a remote location. Food is great not amazing. They gave me extra portions since I was a big eater which was very kind. The Of Rice and Men excursion was great w an amazing picnic lunch. For our other excursion, Mountain bikes were mediocre but good enough for our ride. Not trails but back dirt roads. We also selected to do a full day hike w a guide. The part we did was great but if you plan on doing a hike make sure you ask some questions and prepare accordingly. We weren't warned until last minute about the potential leeches that would inevitably crawl on us during a certain point in the hike. We ended up not getting that far anyway as we cut our long hike short when we reached an extremely steep area w loose gravel. Getting down would have been too difficult. We are fit and intermediate hikers and it wouldn't have been enjoyable. Overall the Muang La Lodge experience was great. The price is what it is, and I found myself wondering if I could have found a better deal for a similar experience in Laos. Make no mistake, you're definitely in some great hands at the lodge."Slow Villas and Spa: "Sublime level of accommodation on Gili Air"
If your budget allows, this is a no brainer. SLOW is a beautiful experience. The villas are stylishly and luxuriously appointed creating an ambiance rarely seen on Gili Air. The bed was especially comfortable (five star hotel quality) and the private pool and spacious garden added to our memorable stay. Highly recommended - without doubt the BEST accommodation on Gili Air.Sea Dance Resort: "Excellent service, perfect atmosphere and great food."
"- Great food (even has their own home grown vegetables) - Perfect service! - Excellent atmosphere! We came to the restaurant at a Wednesday night by accident, and we immediately felt very welcome. We decided to stay despite the fact that my girlfriend doesn't even like Thai food and there was a Thai buffet that night. We didn't regret it!! The Thai buffet was delicious and so was my girlfriends club sandwich (they made it possible for her to order from the a la carte menu, even though it was buffet only that night, and there was a big buffet prepared for the guests)! Very service minded We were there after told that we were welcome to come use their great facilities anytime during our stay at Koh Samui. We did that and we went back there for four days in a row because of the pool, kayaking/SUP-boards and especially the food. Had we only known how wonderful this place is we would have stayed here for sure! There was an English girl working in the restaurant, who'm was one of the nicest waiters I've ever encountered. She meant a lot to the place and if I was the owner I would make sure she would never leave her job Her and the rest of the excellent staff makes you feel at home instantly. "Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Book this safari experience!"
"Everything about our experience was fabulous. We have stayed in some pretty swanky places on this holiday but the food served to us out of a jungle kitchen was the best. The guys were helpful and really fun to be with. We were lucky enough to see a huge male leopard and lots of other amazing animals. We stayed in the luxury air conditioned tent - my best sleep of the holiday. Everything had been thought of. I can not recommend them more highly. Other companies have tried to copy but failed."
