The Cabochon Hotel: "See you soon! Cabochon"
"10 years ago I have stayed in the hotel run by the same owner as Cabochon's and it was an unforgettable experience, that's why after 10 years, I decided to spend a night here at Cabochon and hoped it was as great as the previous one, and it didn't disappoint. To me, people in the hotel are important, cause they are the ones who make you feel welcome and home, and staff at Cabochon is definitely warm and lovely, always having smiles on their cute faces. The hotel is undoubtedly beautiful, you really have to appreciate the owner's taste, I feel like a princess when staying in the room with all the antiques and retro vibe. The restaurant ""Thai Lao Yeh"" in the hotel serves good Thai food, too. My local friend who dined with us said it is authentic and delicious. With all the above mentioned, what's not to love about Cabochon? I hope next time I don't have to wait 10 years to go back, see you really soon, Cabochon. Stayed February 2017, traveled solo"Mume: "definitely creative and top 10 Taipei"
"It is hard to understand how the restaurant could be rated anything less than 5 stars. The food is definitely creatively presented, ingredients atypical and the flavours wonderful. This all leads to great tasting food in a classy yet casual environment. My favorite was the beef short ribs and the Mume salade terrific. The night before I ate at Le Blanc, which is the sister restaurant for steak frites and lobster. Mume is about double or triple the price of Le Blanc and the food is not necessarily that much better, however Mume is for a more special occasion. Definitely recommend and you are paying full price."Tugu Lombok: "Brilliant stay, amazing place"
"We stayed at Hotel Tugu for 4 nights and we both came away saying it was easily the best hotel we had ever stayed in! Every whim is catered for, anything you could imagine they make possible, and always with a smile. The food is outstanding, and the location of the hotel is fantastic with a stunning white sand beach and views of the mountains. An incredible place to stay, you won't be disappointed if you book this hotel! Can't wait to return"Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Fantastic location and excellent service"
"The lodge was very comfortable and had the most fantastic views of the valley beneath the lodge and the majestic Annapurna range of the Himalayas. The most incredible views of these mountains was at sunrise across the swimming pool. The lodge sits high on the mountain side and it is a perfect place to relax with nothing to disturb the peace except the sounds of nature; an ideal place for complete relaxation. The standard of the food is very high and interesting menu, each meal was a delicious repast. The main centre of the lodge is very comfortable and outdoor dining at breakfast and lunch was very enjoyable, dinner was served in the main dining room at night when it was a little cooler. ( May ). The staff is very professional, discrete, very helpful and added greatly to the quality and enjoyment of our stay. Stayed May 2016, traveled with friends"Villa Song Saigon: "Villa Song, an oasis of calm in Saigon"
Beautiful hotel, luxurious rooms and facilities. All the staff are so friendly and take care to ensure your stay is perfect. To sit by the river for breakfast is magical; didn't want to leave. Everything they do, they do so, so well. Although a short stay, so memorable, wish I was still there Location rated as excellent, a bonus not to be right in the city centre. The hotel speed boat service to the city centre is fantastic. Taxis cheap and plentiful if it's not available.Villa Song Saigon: "Superb"
"Great hotel - peaceful retreat from the Saigon hustle, complete with complementary speedboat service to and from the city centre (20 minutes by boat)! Excellent anytime of day breakfast service, and for a city hotel, a really good pool-size"SUMMERTIME VILLA: "Nice Place"
"Ive been to Goa several times but I had the most Luxurious time while visiting Summertime. . . . . Spacious rooms & a pool to die for…"Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Wonderful"
This is a fantastic experience. Noel and the team have covered all the bases which makes for a wonderful and genuine safari reminiscent of the original African model. The camp is well equipped with tents spaced to afford privacy, offering large beds and private bathrooms. The food was just excellent throughout our stay. We saw a variety of wildlife including leopards and were grateful to Noël for sharing his photos after a camera malfunction. From my original contact with Sophie everything flowed seamlessly and made for a great stay.Locavore: "Wonderful Experience, but book ahead or be disappointed"
"Very popular, small, expensive but very very good. We went here for dinner. Thank goodness we had skipped lunch after reading the reviews. We ordered the 5 course Otak-Otak which eventually turned into about 12 dishes as there are delightful little pre/post dinner treats along the way. What a wonderful surprise. The staff are fabulous and explained each dish as each one has it's own quirkiness - a bit fusion east meets west . . . . very tasty. We enjoy the evening very much and after our three hour eating safari we were very full. Would highly recommend for a special dinner or lunch out in Ubud, but do book in advance. No shows and late late comers are fined accordingly."Reverie Siam Pai: "Delightful hotel"
We had a four day stay at the Reverie Siam with my elderly parents and two month old baby. The staff were excellent - very kind and flexible when it came to accommodating our baby. I felt comfortable breastfeeding in the restaurant and by the pool which was a massive bonus for me since I didn't have to hole myself up alone to feed. The rooms were beautiful and we loved the jacuzzis. The pools are lovely and we were lucky that the hotel wasn't too crowded - we had sun loungers every day. One thing that was slightly disappointing was the food. Although reasonably priced, I was sad that the meals were not exactly generous in size. The pizzas were especially tiny! Someone is very good at writing menus because everything sounded delicious, but nothing really lived up to its description. Breakfast was big - two dishes, a hot drink, and a juice, but again, the taste just wasn't quite there. All in all though, we had a really great stay and will definitely return if we can.
