Hotel Tugu Bali: "Excellent property, very helpful staff"

Review by: Robert L | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed in a Rejang suite. The room was great, and the sunken bathtub + some candles made for nice, romantic evenings. The rest of the property was beautiful. The rooftop bar overlooking the ocean was a great place to wind down at the end of the day. The staff was awesome. They went above and beyond to make our vacation stress + hassle free."

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Simply the BEST"

Review by: jacquelinem449 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Rarely does one find a jewel like this, where staff and owner are welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much. Marcus and his team really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable, relaxing, rejuvenating. Then comes the view : simply breathtaking. And the cozy rooms in chalets built of local materials, all conscious of the environment and preserving it. And the delicious food : you can have just about anything you feel like, and much of it comes form their own organic garden, simply delicious! Thank you TMPL for a most relaxing holiday, without noise pollution! I will be back for sure."

Reverie Siam Pai: "A distinguished retreat amongst the charm of Pai"

Review by: Adam P | Source: Trip Advisor
"An excellently laid out design and interior, which evokes an aristocratic air of elegance. A few friends and I came here mid afternoon after a little sightseeing and were treated with great care and attention by the staff. After feasting over a few shared Chef and Mediterranean Vegetable boards, we all left in the highest of spirits."

Heritage Suites Hotel: "Breathtaking Wedding experience – highlight of our whole trip!"

Review by: Jonathan B | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed here between 17/12/17 - 21/12/17 as a party of seven and had the pleasure of having our wedding day planned and hosted by the brilliant staff at Heritage Suites Hotel. Oma, Nicolas, Teka and each and every member of staff, we can’t thank you enough for the hours of work, meticulous attention to detail, beautiful venue and exceptional level of service we had during our stay. You made our wedding the most memorable, intimate and spectacular day we’ve ever experienced, and it’s something neither we or our guests will ever forget. We won’t bore you with the long story, but basically, we decided to cancel our ‘home wedding’ and elope to the country that we got engaged in two years earlier (best decision ever!). As you would expect, we were quite nervous organising our entire wedding experience via email and Skype, having not seen seen the venue in person. We went back and forth with the team, sharing information and pictures until both sides were confident that we would get the wedding that we wanted. Throughout the entire process, Oma, Nicolas and Teka couldn’t have been more attentive and helpful, answering all of our questions (sorry guys!) until we fully understood each element of our wedding and stay. If you are reading this and thinking of having a wedding ceremony in Cambodia, PLEASE, you should seriously consider using Heritage Suites Hotel as your venue of choice - you won’t regret it. Highlights include: - The quick transformation of the hotel ‘alley’ / atrium into a beautiful walkway & altar was nothing short of astonishing. The whole place had beautiful white decor, flowers (lotus & rose), with an amazingly decorated platform at the end where the ceremony was held. - The organisation of external services was exactly what we wanted. Makeup & hair was great, the photographer / videographer (Oyen Rodriguez & his team - check his stuff out on YouTube!) was phenomenal, amazing buttonholes & bouquets, an extremely charming and well spoken registrar called Mourad (who looks like Hugh Laurie!) to lead the ceremony. - We had the flexibility of tailoring our own ceremony including our own vows, readings and words in a ‘Western style’ and incorporating a Buddhist blessing given by some local monks which we and our guests enjoyed thoroughly. - More food and drink than you could ever want! The men and women enjoyed a light breakfast separately, before canapés & drinks in the lobby after the ceremony , more canapés & champagne during sunset, and a beautifully cooked dinner on the evening. - We couldn’t decide between having tuk-tuks or jeeps… so we had both! Each type of transportation were dressed up for the occasion including flowers, ribbons, signage (our initials) and tassels. - Our transportation took us out to ricefields and other scenic locations for photographs before arriving at a pier on a beautifully still lake (Trav Kot) for sunset canapés and champagne. - Our final destination was the real show stopper. Teka from Heritage Adventures (sister company of Heritage Suites Hotel) worked with us to organise a luxury camping experience and dinner by a remote temple called Banteay Ampil. Our jeeps pulled up and we were greeted by smiling staff who provided us with necklaces and bracelets made from the Jasmine flower. Venturing further into the campsite, we were surrounded by thousands of tealights, relaxing and having welcome cocktails in a ‘chill out’ area (think lots of cushions, throws, low sitting sofas, fire pits). The luxury tents were incredible - better than our house back home! We could go on for hours as the team organised so much more (on this day, and the rest of our time with them). We seriously couldn’t fault anything - each element was provided with 100% effort and the full team delivered everything with a smile. It felt as though they were genuinely happy for us, and enjoyed being part of our wedding experience. No text, pictures or videos could do the whole experience justice, and we feel quite smug that only the seven of us will ever know what it truly felt like during these special couple of days. Aside from our experience from a wedding perspective, the hotel and level of service as a guest was fantastic. The rooms were immaculate, tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. The restaurant food during breakfast, lunch and dinner was plentiful, tasty and well-priced. We were never left wanting, with staff always on hand to make sure we had everything we needed. If anybody would like to speak to us further, feel free to contact Heritage Suites Hotel and ask for Jonathan & Katherine Birch’s contact information) - we’d be more than happy to help! Thanks, Mr & Mrs Birch"

Reverie Siam Pai: "Best hotel in Pai"

Review by: Kyle G | Source: Trip Advisor
This place is clearly a cut above the other options in Pai. You have all the creature comforts of a boutique resort hotel with an excellent restaurant, all within a short walk or golf cart ride to the Pai night market and other draws. Enjoy this wonderful backpacker town while also coming home to a comfortable bed and peace and quiet!

Rak Ko Jae Seoul: "Location, Location, Location"

Review by: Abigail A | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed at the Rakkojae Seoul, a traditional hanok style guest house in early October 2016 for 4 nights. Located between the eastern and western palaces in the Bukchon Village area of Seoul it really is perfectly located for visiting a part of Seoul that wasn't destroyed by the war. The neighborhood is interesting with many good restaurants and the guest house is old and charming. The Proprietor is helpful and welcoming. The Korean breakfast, served in our room, was excellent. My only caution for the traveler would be two things that the owners don't have much control over. First, Seoul has a problem with mosquitoes and since it was still quite warm in Seoul this fall, we battled very small mosquitoes in our room, despite very good screens. Could be we should have closed the shutters and turned on the A/C and we would have fared better. Additionally, keep in mind that this is a small establishment, so if others are jet lagged and forget it's 2 AM, you are probably going to be hearing your neighbors during the night. But, overall a great experience. And, when you think about it, if you want to stay in traditional housing, then you shouldn't be expecting it to feel like the Ritz Carleton.

Les Maisons d’Itac: "BEST PLACE EVER! Suite Télémac ❤️"

Review by: Shy D | Source: Trip Advisor
"It's been a long time since I've been in the Philippines and it was his first time to go for a proper visit (stopped over on the way to Australia back in '99). I wanted to make sure he sees how beautiful the islands are and make him experience local culture and the Filipinos signature hospitality without compromising some luxuries. Boy, oh boy, this place made an impression! Our first time in Cebu coming from an awesome 3 days in Boracay, we thought this place will have to work really hard to impress us. We arrived at the Cebu Mactan airport and was picked up by a friendly ""Kuya"" that we arranged with Sir Bryan. His car was clean and he let us do a bit of shopping at the nearby Savemore supermarket while he waited at the parking lot. I admired his patience. He told us it'll take around 3hours to get to the resort and I thought we were ok with it. I am not a very patient passenger, plus we just came from a tiring flight and barely had time to rest. I kept thinking that I made the wrong decision with booking this property because it was miles and miles (and miles) away from the airport. Eventually, we arrived at the resort late at around 8pm and it was already dark so I was like, ""okay, give it a chance in the morning"". We were lead to our private villa and I was pleasantly surprised at how perfect it was with our own pool, 3 rooms, a hut and a cabana! Sir Bryan called one of the girls to fix us a meal and it was delicious. I am not kidding, it was. We were the only guests because it was the town fiesta (festival honoring the feast day of their patron saint) and Sir Bryan was worried that guests might not be happy with the noises the parties might cause. I was warned about this beforehand but we were totally ok and were actually planning to join the party. In the morning, we woke up and our jaws dropped after realising how gorgeous the whole property was. Breakfast was unforgettable, especially the fresh mango smoothie/shake (so sweet and not even a grain of sugar was added in it!). On other days we had different fruit shakes and the staff made sure they were all fresh and perfect. The food, as I've mentioned, is simply perfect. Loads of activities around and we were luck enough to join the fluvial parade during the town feast and we had so much fun chasing and trying to get the passengers on the other boat as wet with sea water as we can. We ended up getting back after around an hour soaked, but incredibly happy. We had our first try with stand up paddle-boarding and it was great! People who like their own space and respect other people's will fall in love with this place. The marine sanctuary right in front of this property is a great indicator they care about the earth. It is one of the best holidays and resort I've been to. We left with a heavy heart and wished we could've stayed a bit longer. Will definitely try and visit again if we ever go back to the Philippines."
