Villa Song Saigon: "Wonderful Oasis on the River"
"I was fortunate enough to spend last weekend at Villa Song in Ho Chi Minh. The hotel is perfect...all the rooms have a wonderful colonial feel to them. My room had a balcony overlooking the river-perfect for a leisurely breakfast or a cocktail later on with my friends. While the hotel itself is beautiful, what set Villa Song apart was the service. The staff went the extra mile constantly to make our stay perfect. I can't recommend the hotel highly enough for anybody looking for a relaxed, elegant place to stay."Villa Song Saigon: "Great place to stay with easy boat access to downtown Saigon"
"Stayed in the family suite for just a night at the end of a 4 week trip across Asia. Villa Song was one of the best surprises of the trip, Great Boutique hotel, nice breakfast, decent massages and really convenient private speedboat to connect to downtown Would definitely stay again"Maison Polanka: "Awesome stay; feels like home :)"
We had such an amazing stay. Thumbs up in everything - sense of place, service, food. They have gone out of their way to make sure our stay was nothing short of excellent. I will go back here ad recommend to friends and family.Manda De Laos: "Tasty of Lao Royal Authentic cuisine with nature view of Heritage Lotus Pond"
The food at Manda de Laos was super great and amazing, nice ambiance with friendly service by lovely staffs at the restaurant. I think the price is suitable on what you get. If I have chance to visit Luang Prabang, I definitely go back to this place. Lastly, I love banana ice cream :)satrin house: "Great service, beautiful grounds, wonderful experience"
"We stayed for 3 nights and were very pleased with the helpful and friendly staff. Our room was large and comfortable and the food excellent. The Hotel is within walking distance of the night market. We highly recommend Satri House. "The Village House: "Gorgeous hotel!"
"Such a beautiful hotel! So incredibly relaxing to spend time here. We loved the hammocks and reclining chairs with the view of the pool. The gardens are lovely, and the decor is really interesting. Nice rooms too! The whole place is romantic, relaxing, dreamy. The eight course ""Taste of Borneo"" was a memorable last night in this beautiful oasis. We booked a sunset wetlands tour. Gorgeous sunset skies, everything still and peaceful. We saw dolphins and proboscis monkeys, and after dark, spooky crocodiles, and an abundance of fireflies. Also arranged by the hotel, we went to the nearby cultural village. We'd cynically expected a Disneyfication but it was wonderful and very interesting. Stayed March 2017, traveled with friends"Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Just perfect!"
"We stayed for just three nights, if only we had known we would have made it longer. We have stayed in lots if different hotels all over India and I think the staff at neelshewar come top of the pile. We could not pick out anyone as they were all amazing from the manager to the waiting staff to the gardeners. These delightful people made our stay here just perfect. The accommodation was looking over the sea and beach, beautifully clean and comfortable. Tea brought to our room every morning. The food at the beach was amazing with fresh fish with different delicious marinades. The breakfast was wonderful with so many choices and the best fruit so far in India! A complimentary yoga class in the morning, run by a lovely young man, was great. The pool was perfect temperature and fresh drinking water topped up all the time with the usual excellent service. The little shop has lovely pashminas etc with a beautiful young lady assisting who arranged the excellent tailor to make me a lovely linen dress in a day. Overall a most wonderful stay. Just go there! Room Tip: We stayed in Virya which was halfway to everything (7 or 8)"Neeleshwar Hermitage: "A fitting end to our holiday"
The bungalow is set in a well maintained palm tree plantation, the room was very clean and stylish and modern, with an amazing semi outdoor en suite bathroom complete with a palm tree. The shower was very effective and there are twin wash basins and a selection of toiletries. There was an ample supply of luxurious towels which were changed every day.The room had a king sized bed with cotton sheets, which was very comfortable and The room had sufficient wardrobe and drawers. There are two restaurants, one formal and a seafood one on the beach. We only ate the seafood restaurant where the selections are on a blackboard, which changes daily a variety of fish in various sauces. The meals were always superbly cooked and presented and the friendly but professional service was always present.Breakfast was only served at the beach restaurant with an excellent choice of both Indian and european food. This is an exceptional hotel, the pool is well maintained and has really comfortable loungers. This hotel is certainly 5 star with prices to match, although surprisingly the wine when compared to our previous hotels was reasonably priced and good quality. They offer various activities including yoga, spa, backwater cruises, cooking lessons and you can walk safely on the beach which stretches for as far as the eye can see.The wi-fi is slow but acceptable and the hotel is non smoking.Slow Villas and Spa: "Amazing and relaxing stay"
"Slow Private Pool Villas was amazing. Service is stupendous from our luggage to in villa breakfast. Loved our stay. We were relaxed and didn't want to leave our villa. They offer to do everything for you including ordering food to their bike rentals onsite. The spa is amazing! Well worth it. We ended up doing a 2.5 hour massage and facial and it was glorious. Everything was very relaxing. The only thing I would recommend would be their manicure service. They did my manicure right out there in the front lobby of the spa. There is no dedicated / relaxing room used for the manicures so that was a bummer. Another con is that it's not as close to the beach as other accommodations. It's about a 10 min walk but being far from the beach has its advantages to a peaceful getaway. Room is fabulous. Outdoor showers which are amazing. Decor is lovely. Bed faces the outdoor pool. Large sliding doors that you can open all the way so that it feels as if the bedroom is one with the outdoor pool. Otherwise, lovely stay. We would come back! Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Glenburn Tea Estate: "Surpasses all expectations"
"We stayed at the Glenburn after a week travelling around Sikkim and it was the perfect end to the trip. We received a warm welcome on arrival from Faye and Will the management team and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. We were offered refreshments throughout the day (fantastic teas) and found everyone very friendly. The rooms are lovely, each bedroom is different and in a colonial style and the food was excellent with a different theme each evening which we loved. Our stay was relaxing - we enjoyed the walk down to the river where we had lunch, exploring the tea plantation and reading on the veranda admiring the views. Just what we were looking for in a tea plantation. Thanks to Faye and Will and their team for making our visit so memorable It was a few days of luxury that I would highly recommend."
