Maison Polanka: "Outstanding boutique hotel"
Great quality hotel with exceptional staff who could went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable. The grounds are delightful and the rooms spacious. The hotel is in easy reach of the town yet far enough out to offer a peaceful setting.Tugu Bali: "Wonderful, warm reception"
Excellent home base for our first few nights in Bali. Wonderful cooking right at the lodge. We were impressed by our spacious room and the beautiful reception areas and pools. The staff were truly warm and welcoming. Exquisite hotel grounds, restaurants and more. The spa was quite nice as well.Tugu Lombok: "Authentic Lombok getaway"
The Tugu resort is a magical place, filled with impressive architecture, artwork and relics of the island's past. The buildings are placed in various parts of this sprawling resort, which ensures that it feels quiet and relaxed, even when fully booked. The rooms are incredible: we stayed with a family of 4 (two teenagers) in a two bedroom Swarga villa with 2 outside bathrooms: the rooms cannot be faulted. They have character and individuality and still all modern amenities. The private beach offers some paddling, snorkling and kayak opportunities and obviously the Gili islands are close for an excursion. The only downside to the resort is the restaurant facilities: when we were there in August, only the main restaurant was open and the choice on the menu is limited and the quality is average (this resort needs a separate fine dining option if it is to keep attracting travellers in a gradually more competitive Lombok market), which is why we "eloped" to have dinner in the Lombok Lodge. Staff in the restaurant area is moreover not trained or motivated to the standards required of such an establishment. This being said, the location and rooms trump these improvement areas, which is why we still give it a five star rating.Tugu Bali: "Unforgetable wedding ceremony"
Absolutely amazing place with very helpful and polite staff. Thanks to the manager And my dear friend who organized it I had the best small and informal wedding ceremony that I could ever stean of. Eventough It's pred expensive It's definitely worth the visit at least for the ambience and very nice appetizers.Villa Song Saigon: "Villa Song"
We really loved this hotel, the location, the staff, the rooms and the food were all fantastic. The regular boat shuttle to the centre of the city along the river was also a real plus. Great stay, would go back and would recommend it to anyone.Mie Cafe: "A Gem of a Restaurant"
"Amid the cicadas and frogs (they have their own pond, is a superbly done fusion dining experience. Clever dishes that are not overly complicated, good portion sizes and beautifully presented. We enjoyed the frogs legs, the burrita was amazing as was the local Lak Lak beef dishes (a local take on steak au poivre - though this is an injustice). Finished with a refreshing frozen like pie. With attentive staff, this made for a relaxing Sunday in Siem Reap. Any gripes? Nothing major - sometimes service seemed too attentive if there is such a thing and I mean they tend to over check if you're finished on a course."Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "my favourite place to stay in Bangkok"
"from the moment we walked in the door.....we fell in love with this place.....we can not recommend it highly enough! if you want something special, tucked away, unexpected with the most divine attentive staff.....this is it! we will only stay in this gorgeous hotel whenever we choose to visit this city. a very very special place indeed! the attention to detail, the drinks and cocktail choices are just perfect and the rooms to enjoy them in....are so so beautiful. a thai restaurant too with delicious food, a swimming pool, everything is here. all I can say is, we just don't want to leave.....its the perfect get away in a busy bustling city that can be very overwhelming. The Cabachon is an oasis with styling perfection. thank you for having us!"Reverie Siam: "Beautiful hotel!"
The hotel was stuning and the room with the stand alone bath tab (river view) was amazing! The gardens, the lobby and of course the rooms were just gorgeous and very relaxing! The only minus was the restaurant- although it had a great tasety food it was all tiny so if you are hungry it's problematic to eat there. However breakfast was nice and the staff brought us more bread, and juice when needed. The staff were also very kind, and overall I would recommand this beautiful place to friends! P.s- it is 5 min from the walking streets of Pai but the hotel runs a shuttle that will take you whenever you want until 11pm, which was great for us!David’s Kitchen: "Lovely, thoughtful restaurant"
We came to David's after a long day at the elephant sanctuary in search of a little pampering, and David's did not disappoint. They kindly picked us up from our hotel which was very nice and convenient. The ambiance is very peaceful and beautifully decorated. It is apparent that David cares very much about each guest's experience and there is much attention to detail. Cocktails were amazing! The staff are very attentive and I would recommend coming here for a special evening you won't forget. Thank you David for making our last night in Chiang Mai so memorable!Rachamankha: "Absolutely exquisite"
Arriving at this hotel is so peaceful and Tranquil. Loaded with beautiful antiques and an air of sophistication and luxury not experienced in other parts of Thailand. In the old city this is quintessential old world Asia.
