Tugu Bali: "Wonderful property and top-notch service"
Stayed here for my birthday in May, and found the service to be amazing. The entire staff was friendly but not obtrusive, and the hotel grounds are just beautiful. They also helped my friends arrange a birthday surprise for me; highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway! Also very close to all of the fun nightlife in Canggu.Sandat Glamping Tents: "Serene start to honeymoon"
"We spent the first three nights of our honeymoon here and it was perfect. From the moment we arrived to our personal tent with the plunge pool filled with petals, to the beautiful candles lit to guide your way to dinner and the incredible food! It is very much off grid, and of course there are the occasional jungle sounds and a few lizards to keep you company, but that is what makes it such an unusual place. We have glamped in other parts of the world and this definitely had the edge on luxury, and the least bugs!! The site is nestled unobtrusively among rice fields and feels very blended wth the local area. Although slightly out of the hustle and bustle of ubud, the free shuttle is excellent and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Thank you for a lovely Stay!"Tugu Malang: "I’ve never seen a place like this before.."
"I have never seen a hotel like this before. This place is literally a museum, the owner collects antiques from around the world (but mostly Javanese and Cina peranakan), makes the hotel breathes art deco, bohemian, middle east, Javanese, oriental, and Dutch colonial style. It's amazing they have so many collections like chairs from Soekarno's house, 2000+ year old Chinese sculpture, and many ancient Chinaware. Also worth to mentioned: Mata Hari's dancing portrait and a mysterious picture from the black and white Lolita movie. The service is excellent, the staff call me by name and never cease to amaze me by their warm hospitality. The tea time from 4-6 pm is worth to try. They provide Indonesian snacks with selections of tea and coffee. The front office staff are really really nice, they are very helpful and seems like all the staff enjoy what they're doing so the hospitality comes from the heart. Tips: *During the tea time, sit on the balcony to have a better view of the hundred years old giant tree at the hotel facade. *If you stay in the hotel, ask for a hotel tour. Mbak Poppy gave me a tour and she explained thoroughly and patiently about historical background in every item I asked. She also showed me the stunning Apsara suite. Unfortunately the Raden Saleh one was occupied on that day. Thank you, Mbak Poppy! Fun fact: All Indonesia's past and current presidents have been to this hotel."Tandjung Sari: "One of the places you have to stay"
"The history, the serenity, the beach-front Sanur at its best. It is one of the must do's in Bali, stay at 'the' beautiful Balinese style boutique hotel that sparked a revolution embracing the traditional Balinese architecture and design. From a magnificent staff to great breakfasts and moonlit dinners on the beach, this is a retreat in the heart of beachfront Bali."Nimmu House: "a perfect stay"
"after six weeks in Ladakh: Nimmu house was the perfect place to start and to stay. Close to Leh but quiet and authentic. Beautyfull rooms in the house, preserving the style of this house. Excellent food. Most important: the staff is very friendly, helpfull and professional! A must to come back :) Andreas H. Basel, Switzerland"Summertime Villa: "Beautiful Villa, Great Location"
"The villa is absolutely fantastic in terms of decor and amenities. Designed and built by the owners, every artifact in the house has been very carefully selected. It's a a beautiful home best experienced personally as no pictures can do justice to the beauty of the place. It's managed very professionally with very accomodating staff. The location though is the best part, just off main Calangute road with easy access to beaches, restaurants and other fun activities. Kudos to the owner Hans, who is an extremely warm person and knows a lot about hospitality and how to keep his guests comfortable."Villa Song Saigon: "Elegant hotel on the Saigon River"
"We stayed a couple of nights at this hotel and it is really special. Right on the Saigon River and in District 2 of Ho Chin Minh. The service was really good and the location is perfect. You can catch the hotel boat shuttle directly to the main district 1 if required. The area around the hotel is quiet and we found some really nice restaurants. This hotel is number one on trip advisor for a reason. "Inle Princess Resort: "A beautiful, peaceful place to stay"
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had a garden room rather than a lake room, but still beautiful. There's no tv in the rooms, but who needs that? It was just so peaceful. Great pool, bar and restaurant too and the staff were more than ready to help out with anything. I have coeliacs and the restaurant staff were happy to make something special for me, although that wasn't required as the food on their daily changing menu gave me lots of options. We were there late January and most of the other guests (and the staff) seemed to think the mornings and evenings were cold. Not for us. While the temperature was a little more temperate than other parts of Myanmar, we were perfectly comfortable without long sleeves and scarves, but I suppose that's a subjective experience. Room Tip: You could probably pay more and get a lake view room, but it's not necessary."Yandabo Home: "Spacious rooms, great service"
We only spent one night here, which is what we would recommend. Our room was facing the water, spacious, clean, stylish and well equipped. You have to eat at the hotel as there is no other choice, but the meal was good and service excellent. It is located close to a village famed for its pottery manufacture. A highlight for me was the superb homemade croissants and bread at breakfast. Please note there is no WiFi.Manda De Laos: "Beautiful setting"
Striking setting... the large wooden decks over the ponds, the lights and colors... it is a unique place in Luang Prabang. Pan-asian cuisine, original presentation and attentive service: Manda de Laos must be on the list of gourmet romantic diners when visiting Luang Prabang.
