The Island Lodge: "A great and cosy place to recharge ones batteries"
"We had a short stay in The Island Lodge from 8th to 10th of April - I can say, a great finding! It made us extend our stay right after the first three hours on Michels premises. For us, since we were looking for a quiet place away from the busy days in Ho Chi Minh City, it was an excellent option. It was a great experience in all aspect. You will find a very idyllic small road leading to the west-end of Thoi Son island followed by a small path guiding to the entrance of the resort. A beautiful, silent place, which was obviously built and choosen by someone paying a lot of attention to details, will appear. Rooms are very clean and harmonic, the staff is extraordinarily friendly and attentive, food and service met our expectations. Overall a very cosy atmosphere - a place to recharge ones batteries :)"The Hue House: "Customer"
First time when i come to the hue House , at first i has left deep impression is the espace with Huế imperial palace 's style , either the space outside , the service is enthusiasm , agile. Specially is the foods, they are delicous . There r too many kinds of great food so i couldn't try it all in 1 time . Honestly thats great. And for sure i will come back again to try another Hue foods very soonVilla Song Saigon: "What makes a good hotel great?"
What makes a great hotel? Is it location, style, luxury, food quality, service, amenities, exclusivity, ambiance? Villa Song has all of this and much more. The indefinable thing that makes paying customers feel like honored guests - friends even. This is like a Mini Singapore Raffles located on the Saigon River half an hour from HCM airport. It's hard not to gush about this place and harder to find fault. I dare you to try. If you go there you will be looked after by GM Yega, his wonderful staff including the charming Freddie who seems to be able to do everything. You might be served breakfast by Miss Hua and her colleges, have a cocktail concocted for you especially by the fantastic bar manager, take a ride on the hotel launch, sit by the fabulous pool,,,,,,You will certainly be fed by master Chef Kevin. F&B director and chef from Luxembourg. The quality of food pumped out of his kitchen will delight you. I could go on and on but I am busy planning my next (much longer) stay in this very special hotel. Check out this unique and special little gem for yourself....but leave room for me.THE ISLAND LODGE: "A great and cosy place to recharge ones batteries"

Two friends and I have just completed a trip in Laos which included four nights in Luang Prabang, where we stayed at the Satri House. It is an amazing property which provides the perfect base for visiting LP. The grounds are gorgeous, and immaculately maintained. The rooms are spacious, with everything one could want in a 4-star-plus hotel. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The restaurant is excellent, serving well-prepared Lao dishes along with European cuisine. The hotel is about 12 minutes by foot from the principal sights of LP and the famous Night Market. If you are planning a visit to Luang Prabang, you could not find better accommodation than the Satri House.Inle Princess Resort: "Loved it"
"I loved this hotel. Our chalets were huge and extremely comfortable, and I much appreciated the free minibar containing soft drinks. There were all the amenities you would expect, and the turn down service and cleaning of the rooms was excellent. The view across the lake was also splendid. We made good use of the spa, which has to have the most enormous treatment rooms anywhere. And the treatments were first class. The only thing that I would criticise are the steps into the bathroom and out to the outdoor shower from the room; the steps are all the same colour and in dim lighting merge into one another, with the result that we both tripped down them. A couple of white outlines on the steps would help enormously. There was a very nice bar area, which was extremely efficient and well-run. And the food in the restaurant was also good."Manda De Laos: "Great food, beautiful location"
The restaurant is set overlooking a lake filled with lotus flowers and lily pads, the majority of the restaurant is outdoors but covered. The food served is fresh and tasty, the menu serves seasonal, traditional Laos food with a modern twist along with other, mainly South East Asian dishes. Everything we ordered was execllent and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "One of our best highlights of our Bangkok trip"
I'm not usually a cruise fan but one of our Thai friends highly recommended this dinner cruise so we took her word for it and man it was beautiful! The only let down was that it raining and it went dark pretty quickly. Despite that we were very well sheltered from the rain on the cruise and could see the famous Wat Arun and The Grand Palace (just to name a few) as there were lights illuminating the buildings. You can expect the meals to be of fine dining level and authentic (it was as memorable as our fine dining at Issaya Siamese Club). Staff were attentive throughout and the crowd were decent. I'd highly recommend this to anyone visiting Bangkok.Reverie Siam: "Happy return to this oasis in the northern hills"
This is my second visit to the Reverie Siam, and I loved it just as much. Delightfully, this time I felt no obligation to go and do any tours, and so I lazed my days away at the hotel, which it is certainly designed to support. There are two pools, a traditional rectangular one and a more family friendly organic shaped one, which some of the rooms can step straight out into. The buildings and grounds are all charming, a successful mix of Mediterranean planting and colonial "Indochine" architectural style. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and elegant. And the riverside pavilion is unbelievably peaceful (and barely used!). The breakfasts are included in the room price, and very generous (I learnt from last time not to have all the courses offered!) The bar itself is pretty well stocked, has a surprisingly good selection of spirits and wine. And the food is Mediterranean inspired (which I have to confess would be my one wish: if they also had some delicious Thai options on the menu, to me it would be perfect!). They offer free shuttles into town, but if only takes 15 minutes to walk in. The quiet little hamlet the hotel is attached to, just outside Pai, seems to be developing as a more independent hub - there are a few decent cafes, though bafflingly they all shut firmly by 6pm. (Why?!) However, there are worrying signs of development all around, and a large new ugly market building, hope they're not going to build too much round here. Note: once in the hotel, you can't see or hear any of this, it's all at a slight remove. Overall I loved my trip, you won't regret booking here. Want to give a shout out to Tida Massage on one of Pak's main streets (a few doors down from Charlie & Lek restaurant), it's not listed on TripAdvisor and I can't add it. Run by two lovely ladies (and their cheeky cat), really great massage - and I have easy access to good/cheap massage living in China, so am not easily won over. I happened to try them out on my first day, and went back every day, sometimes twice. It's a very simple place, not fancy spa. But Miss Oi (excuse spelling) is a magician and has an infectious laugh. One hour/200baht, a bargain!Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "A wonderful time"
"My wife and I had the most wonderful stay at the Blue Mansion over Christmas and wanted to pass on our thank you for the hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. Our time at the mansion was that beginning of our honeymoon and we were greeted with flowers on the bed in the shape of a heart. The room was an excellent balance between heritage and modern comfort, and each time we returned to our room after exploring George Town it was an absolute joy to return as we made our way through the beautiful building to our room. The staff were amazing and genuinely happy in their work, and we looked forward to the wonderful breakfast each morning in the courtyard. For me, these breakfasts were very relaxing, the food amazing, the staff friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere just perfect. As we were spending Christmas away from home, it was lovely to receive a small gift on Christmas day. It is these little things which really stand out and remain in the memories of a stay. The cherry on top was being told we could open the back door of our room (which we were unaware existed) and be the first to use the new pool area which had been finished that very afternoon. Again, this is something we will never forget. As my wife and I sit now at a resort in Langkawai, we find ourselves thinking back to our stay and actually miss being back in George Town at the mansion. You have very special accommodation offering which we would recommend to anyone and would love to come and stay again in the future. Stayed December 2016, traveled as a couple"
