THE SAMAR: "Know what you’re expecting"
"Location wise the property may not be for every travelers especially those who prefer staying very near to pub street area. However, we like the tranquility of the area and their attentive staffs. We were served by the same waitress in the restaurant throughout our 3 nights stay, she was definitely a gem! The property was half-occupied during our stay so it was very quiet and most of the time it seems like we were having the resort to our own. Bumped into other guests occasionally and they were quite friendly too. We love their ala carte breakfast menu too, their homemade pineapple jam with a hint of ginger taste is my favorite!"Rachamankha: "Calming, beautiful botique hotel"
Beautiful abbey turned hotel in the middle of the city. Nice amenities, superb sevice, plus scrumptous breakfasts included. Centrally located with only a 15 minute max walk to wherever you want to go in the old city.4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Was beyond anything I couldve hoped for"
Of the many places I have stayed I have never come across such helpful, friendly staff who are always smiling. The owner has picked some great people to work here. The accomodation is amazing. The location is beyond amazing. While we stayed it was my partners 30th birthday and the team arranged a fantastic private dinner. They even baked a cake! They went above and beyond. The food is great, the cocktails are delicious and the excursions are awesome if you can bring yourself to leave the lodge. I cannot recommend this place enough, go!Amata Lanna: "Best place to stay in Chiang Mai"
We loved this hotel!!! We booked it because it looked "Thai" in it's decoration etc. It did not disappoint! It is on a quieter street, but still so close to the night market and good restaurants. The pool is smaller, but located inside the hotel's peaceful courtyard. The staff were so kind and attentive. Honestly, this is such a great hotel. I would book immediately if you can. It is smaller, so I'm guessing as word gets out how wonderful it is, that it will sell out fast. Take my advice and stay here when you are in Chiang Mai!!Inle Princess Resort: "Top of the Line"
"The best place to stay on Inle Lake. Gorgeous private lakeside location with beautifully landscaped ground. Well located for touring. Totally service oriented in the most friendly of ways. Very comfortable large individual chalets with large balconies, fireplace, seating area, fridge, safe, large bathroom to include outdoor shower. Nice pool area to relax at day's end. Beautiful lakeside deck for meals. We have high expectations and they were met. On arrival we asked for extra lamps (we don't like dark rooms), space heaters for the bathroom and main room and extra blankets and towels ... all were promptly and cheerfully provided. The dinning room staff was exceptional helpful in arranging meals to our individual taste. Plan on eating here ... no where else to eat."Muang La Resort: "A little paradise in Laos"
"Staying at the Muang La Resort is a pleasure, from the moment you arrive till the moment you leave. The bungalows are well kept, clean and beautifully decorated. Little details like welcoming letters, weather information and slippers make you feel a welcome guest. Dinner is a surprise and never disappointing! Lao haute cuisine!! But what really makes the difference is the staff of the resort and I mean the whole staff! From gardeners to managers, everybody is attentive, helpfull and kind. If you plan a trip to the north of Laos, this is definitely a hotel to include in your plans."Inle Princess Resort: "LOVELY PLACE"
We stayed in a Lake House room - that is very large – and it was wonderful to sit in an armchair on the private deck to admire the lake. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast delicious. The restaurant is good and is well located, just in front of the lake. It is a lovely hotel.Tugu Bali: "Pure bliss in Canggu"
I have been to Canggu a few times before and never realised that this amazing hotel was actually right there! The interior with Indonesian antiques and art is astonishing and gives the place a special feeling. Our room had a private plunge pool which was a great addition to the hotel pool. I loved having breakfast in a different place every morning and the staff was so friendly and attentive. The cooking class was also amazing as we got to try different Balinese dishes. We also watched the cultural dance and had a delicious dinner that night. It's great to be able to join the afternoon tea time every day and watch the sun go down over the ocean, all in all really such a beautiful experience.David’s Kitchen: "Excellent service, even better food!"
My experience at David's Kitchen was nothing short of amazing. It is not very often that the owner of a restaurant is the first one to greet you at the door. David welcomed us with open arms and went out of his way to make a personal connection with both my aunt and I. The service was incredible from the moment we sat down, and the drinks were even better! Throughout the dinner David stopped by twice to see how the food was and to make sure we were having a great time. The highlight of our dinner was definitely the Beef Cheeks- so tender and rich it melts in your mouth! I would highly recommend checking out David's Kitchen if you are in Chiang Mai.Mume: "Nice restaurant and fantastic food"
Really like the food here! Amazing and surprising for ingredients. I visited twice this year and dessert changed impressing me again!
