MesaStila: "Relaxing getaway"
Beautiful place just like the photos. The rooms are nice, clean, in the middle of nature. There are a lot of activities to do in house from coffee plantation tour to yoga in the morning. The staffs are nice and made the experience exceptional, especially our coffee tour guide. What can be improved is perhaps food; it is not that it sucks but rather for such a nice resort we expected more. Wine by the glass at the restaurant wasn't great either and overall wine prices / corkage price are high. However I think the overall experience is great. Very relaxing. Would come back.Jing’s Residence: "Level of service beyond compare"
We decided to splurge once on our trip to China and this was the place to do it. Imam, the Indonesian general manager, responded promptly to every email, accommodated us with early check in (6 AM) since the room was available (and even upgraded us) which was such a relief after the overnight train from Datong. He and his staff were there to greet us, settle us in and were there at every turn for advice, help and service. We borrowed their (free) bikes and went to the temple out of town and the local market outside the city walls. The restaurant provided delicious breakfasts and dinner. Imam was funny, friendly and made our stay. Highly recommended.Villa Song Saigon: "Last destination and wow"
"After a 20 minute taxi drive we arrived at the hotel in the evening. Our first thoughts were - very nice place but outside from the buzzeling district 1. However the hotel offers a shuttle boat service and while enjoying the boat ride you are very fast in downtown. We stayed 4 days with a break and we got 2 upgrades. The staff is very friendly motivated and helpful. The breakfast is a selection from the a la carte Menu. Therefore the food is always fresh cooked and very delicious. Yesterday evening this was topped by the dinner. Fantastic and very tasty food. A great thank you to all of you. Stayed April 2017, traveled as a couple"Misool Eco Resort: "Wow"
This place was amazing. It's truly hard to describe the beauty of this place, and what they went through to make it available to the (discerning) masses. Everything was perfect, from the check-in, to the food, to the rooms, to the scuba-diving / snorkeling. I couldn't dive due to a lung issue, but trust me, I saw and experienced just as much. Even got to see some manta rays at the top of an underwater mountain. Calvin, who headed up the diving / snorkeling trips / PADI courses, and has a marine biology degree... very helpful and great instructor, with the added benefit that he's an actual scientist. Even gave a preso on his work with the manta rays. And I'd like to give a shout-out to my snorkeling guide (Nelson i.e. "Son") as well. He's a local, and used to live on a pearl farm... he dove down seemingly without effort 20-30 feet deep to search out cool things to see. I'm not even sure the guy needs scuba equipment. And the reefs in their 1000 km square "no take" zone were in amazing health (which is surprising given all the press about the decline of reefs in other parts of the world right now) - we saw tons of stuff. My favorites were the nudibranches - I saw about 5 or 6 kinds. We also saw a herd of "bumpheads" that apparently National Geographic was trying to get pics / videos of a few weeks before but couldn't find. The amount of biodiversity is truly astounding... the fish stocks and schools were absolutely amazing. Corals too. I also liked the "eco" theme of the resort - they really take it to heart. Our room had air conditioning, but it was only within the mosquito netting above our bed - I thought this was a clever and very energy efficient way to do it, because you really only want it at night when you're sleeping anyway. Also, they're trying to figure out how to do solar, just working through the details right now. One piece of advice: Just bring adequate cash to tip with (preferably IDR, but they can exchange USD or Australian $$ pretty easily) - and not because they expect tips (they don't) but you'll want to tip everyone when you're done, just because of how well they treat you.Supanniga Cruise: "An Amazing Way to See Bangkok"
If you'd like to see Bangkok's river (Chao Praya) with a touch of class then this is the cruise for you. The Supanniga is a smaller yet more upmarket vessel. Excellent and friendly wait staff, and a delicious six course meal complimented by downtempo jazzy soundscape offers the classiest and most relaxing way to see a side of Bangkok you won't soon forget.Neeleshwar Hermitage: "A piece of heaven in gods own country"
"A gem of a place for a quiet getaway, everything about the place is just perfect , well appointed villas , the staff and it's service , the spa and finally the food to die for , the best Kerala food I have ever eaten.. A must visit place if one is looking for a break "TIGER MOUNTAIN POKHARA LODGE: "A top notch mountain lodge"
"Beautifully located on a ridge overlooking the valley in front and the mountains above, Tiger Mountain is a perfect retreat for a few days rest. Independent cottages with beautiful sit outs amidst the forest, bird calls and mountain views makes this property special. The eco friendly resort with its own organic vegetable garden and freshly made jams and breads is an experience to be treasured. "Tugu Malang: "Flawless and one of a kind."
"Tugu is absolutely soaked in colonial era charm. It comes through in the way they support you throughout the visit. It's in the architecture and extensive art collection. It's all through the menu in the restaurant. It's in the amazing choices of furniture and design. We were given the exact suite we asked for. The tub was beautiful and nicely proportioned. The linens are really comfortable, and high-slung bed is interesting. We spent a lot of time relaxing at the hotel, because it was just that nice. (...) By all means, stay at the Tugu and really explore the place. It's got all kinds of interesting nooks and crannies. Check out Mount Bromo too - and bring your warmest clothes... it's really chilly up there in the morning. Tugu has fast internet, which is good too! Of all the great things which could be said about the hotel -- it really is the wonderful people that make the place great. Friendly and genuine."Cuisine Wat Damnak: "my no 1 in Siem Reap"
Excellent food, excellent staff, nice owner who even walks up to the road to greet you there and walk you through the garden. Interesting fusion kitchen, nice but small wine list. Would go back there every day!Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "Nice and Cozy"
"I went on the cruise in late winter (beginning of Jan), still not that hot and humid. Went on the cruise at Their small eating room which is nice location and nice traditional Thai food. Cruise Staff is really nice and smiley, drinks are good. Fantastic decoration. Love it!!"
