The Governor’s House: "Relaxing place into a colonial house"

Review by: joanbabot | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Cute 3-floors colonial house with a nice pool in the back of the hotel including chill-out terrace. 8 rooms only makes you feel like ""at home"". Room no. 1, next to the pool to be recommended. If you are lazy to go out, try restaurant. Notice choice of dishes at excellent quality at very affordable prices. I would recommend this hotel for short stays to PP traveling with friends or couples."

Le Calao: "Fabulous location, food, wine and service."

Review by: M44SEL | Source: Trip Advisor
"We discovered this new restaurant which has connections with L'Elephant when we wanted a glass of wine prior to the Storytelling. We were made to feel very welcome and had a glass of delicious New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. We returned the next night for dinner and had a excellent Lao meal in beautifully restored building overlook the Mekon. Portions are generous and only the best vegetables and ingredients are used. Another bottle of the SB was enjoyed. Good sevice with just the right amount of attention. Le Calao has only been open for a couple of months so it was only a quarter full but I am sure one will need to reserve once it is better known."

Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Maison Wat Kor – Peaceful, beautiful, welcoming"

Review by: RichWallace | Source: Trip Advisor
This is a small, simple hotel, where the emphasis is on the setting, the lake, the garden, the service rather than in-room facilities. The rooms are quite simple, but perfectly comfortable, with all the facilities you reasonably need, and mostly look over a wonderful little lake with waterlilies and all kinds of flowers. There is a small restaurant serving simple but beautifully prepared food, and offering three set breakfasts - all very well judged. The most notable thing, however, is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff - they really make you feel as if you were in your own home. We cannot recommend if highly enough - we really didn't want to leave!

Cuca: "Wow!"

A Michelin star must surely be on the way. The food is excellent and served up in a wonderfully playful way (one course came served on a flattened beer bottle!). Impeccable service too.

The Apsara Rive Droite: "Dinner by the River"

Review by: rudyj_17 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Stumbled upon this restaurant on our first night in Luang Prabang. Delicious food and lovely outdoor seating. I had the duck with papaya salad and it hit the spot! My friend tried the soup and that was also tasty. Would definitely try the hotel on my next visit - it looked clean, had a nice location and they offer bike rentals for their guests. Stayed February 2017, traveled with friends"

Sandat Glamping Tents: "Lovely place"

Review by: Humberone50 | Source: Trip Advisor
"I stayed here for 3 nights with my two girls aged 3 and 5 and husband in one of the tents. Even though we had young children I didn't feel that anyone minded as it is/feels like a quiet retreat. Sublime surroundings made my stay feel like a real treat. The owners were staying on site when we were there and did introduce themselves which was nice. The tents are bug proof if you keep it all closed up and having a glass door made it feel very room like. At night you go to sleep listening to frogs and crickets... very romantic. You need some strong Deet thou ! We had a meal or two here and a couple in town, the transfer is around 15 mins through beautiful rice fields and over a couple of ravines. We had a free massage as we booked directly with the website, I paid in advance for the tent via the website. Lovely people, very nice manager. Thank you Sandat for a memorable stay."

Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Excellent reasonably priced fine dining"

Review by: GlobalVagrants | Source: Trip Advisor
You must visit this place if you can afford to and can get a table; delicious food that is a cut above the rest, successfully fusing traditional Khmer cuisine with all sorts of other influences. Atmosphere can be a bit stuffy, mainly due to the type of customer it attracts, but come for the food and enjoy yourselves. Is actually good value given the quality of cooking when you compare with typical costs of other tourist oriented restaurants in town. We visited with young children and they were very accommodating doing the full menu with smaller portions for our 9 year old and some chicken fried rice for our 5 year old; both kids declared the food delicious and ate everything in sight. Some very good wines as well. We managed to get an outside table at quite short notice despite them saying they were fully booked for months; if you don't ask you don't get!

Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Lovely place for lunch"

Review by: Gigibetsy | Source: Trip Advisor
After a busy morning sightseeing we were taken here for lunch. Sitting on the veranda overlooking the boats zipping up and down the canal this is a restful place to have lunch. We had the chicken cooked in coconut juice served wrapped in a banana, wonderful. This was followed by the most wonderful EVER banana cake, out of this world.

The Cabochon Hotel and Residence: "Essential to enjoying Bangkok"

Review by: Margherita T | Source: Trip Advisor
"Firstly i want to say that if you are hesitating booking the hotel - just do it you wont regret it. the experience of staying at the cabochon was incredible from start to finish. I am a designer so the quirky, well curated and amazing decor is what pulled me towards the hotel in the first place. once arriving we were kindly greeted with fresh coconuts as our room was prepared. every single detail of this hotel is intoxicating, rich, full of love and history and the staff and management are perfection. my husband and i got the room with a tub and balcony and it was a perfect sanctuary in the heart of a bustling, busy caotic city. it allowed us to be enomored with some of the finer details of the city, and feel at home. beds are super comfy, food at the restaurant is amazing, reasonably priced and the breakfast is beautifully presented and delicious. rooftop pool is so perfectly situated, to cool down after city exploration and enjoy the metropolitan view. i have not one negative thing to say about this establishment - it is exactly how all boutique hotels should be done. we enjoyed out stay so much that we booked it for our return back to Canada ( we had one day left in Bangkok before heading home) we couldn't have imagined staying anywhere else"

Tugu Bali: "A new favorite hotel"

Review by: christineo607 | Source: tripadvisor.com
Stayed here in a Rejang suite for four nights and loved every minute. This hotel is the pinnacle of Indonesian beauty, design and hospitality. All the furniture is antique yet comfortable, and there is a mysticism when entering the rooms. Echo Beach is right off the back of the hotel - a beautiful spot to relax, read, swim, watch surfers. I also appreciated that the hotel fumigates the rooms twice a week to help with the mosquitoes. :) Canggu is a great town to stay in if you're looking for peace and relaxation. It's away from the crowds further south but has more than enough life, shops, restaurants, etc. Borrowed a bike one day to explore the surrounding villages and rice patties. Stayed here on a friend's recommendation and would definitely return.
