MesaStila: "A Piece of Heave"
"I have been here several times, mainly because I just LOVE the souvenir store they have - I have never left there without buying something. Items they sell seem to be handpicked wisely. I've also gone there just to take breathtaking photos. I've gone there just for a drink of coffee; I've gone there for meals. But recently my husband and I finally decided to overnight there. One night was not enough. Now planning at least a 2 night stay there next month. The coffee plantation tour is a must! "Rachamankha: "The only place in the world “Pan-Asian” is done well"
"I've traveled to 5 continents and am always skeptical of places that serve cuisine from more than one Asian country, but this place managed to pull it off. We got multiple salads, and I now want to eat those salads for every meal for the rest of my life. Somehow, there were many cuisines represented, but each dish felt authentic and honoring the ingredients. Also, it featured great relaxing live traditional music. Stayed March 2016"David’s Kitchen: "Amazing food"
Went there last year with my parents. Amazing food and restaurant. David had a nice chat with parents. You need to make a reservation!Mathis Retreat: "Fabulous"
Just a little out of the hustle and bustle of Ubud this hotel was fantastic. Tucked back off the street the entry isn't that inviting. But once inside, you see the beautiful infinity pool overlooking the rice fields and the thatched roof open air restaurant. We stayed in a bungalow with a private little yard (#7) Just behind the beautiful pool, an across from the restaurant. The room was very large, high ceilings, roomy bathroom. We loved it!! It has a shuttle into town and back. It was always great to get back to this beautiful place for a good meal, peace and quiet. It felt like we were coming home. Book this place. No worries. The Apsara Rive Droite: "Loved it!"
This hotel is just a 2 min boat trip across the river from its sister hotel Apsara in the old town. You just drop by at their receptions and tell them you whenever you need to cross. Very convenient. Apsara Rive Droite is a little gem with a pool, a nice garden, beautiful rooms and a pleasant little restaurant and bar. The hotel manager (Hann) is the perfect host with his friendly, yet professional style. Even if the hotel is just two minutes by boat fron the old town, it is located in a less touristy area. I quite enjoyed strolling i this neighbourhood too as it gave glimpses into laotian everyday life. This includes the morning alm cermony that takes place on the road just outside the hotel.Villa Song: "Holiday"
"Fantastic hotel, great staff, lovely pool great food. This hotel is a must for anyone visiting Hochiminh city It's on the river about a 15 minute drive to the centre of Hochiminh but the hotel put on a free shuttle service for those wishing to visit the centre which we used"Rachamankha: "Spectacular Boutique Property"
"We actually changed our travel dates to be able to stay at this beautiful hotel in Chiang Mai. We had the good fortune of staying in a 2 Bedroom Suite(#24). The space was large, the amenities very comfortable and the beds.....the most comfortable I have slept in for a long time The hotel is stunning. Don't go in expecting a big business hotel with lots of glass and steel. The hotel is a reflection of Lanna architecture and everything about it is so. Big glass windows with large wooden doors. Huge high ceilings. Tiled roofs. Greenery everywhere, all manicured to perfection. Every corner of this property seems to tell a story. The entire hotel has been curated and the architecture, art, artefacts, furniture all have an air of detail to them The breakfast is alacarte with more than enough options to offer everyone Its not an ideal hotel to come to with kids(we came with 2). its a bit too eclectic for them Would I come back? In a heartbeat. Would I pay the asking price? Without hesitation"Satri House: "Truly warm and friendly staff, Navitha"
"Cute boutique hotel in this lovely Unesco city with a colonial arquitecture. We were sad living this place, lovely staff, amazing Navitha (hope name is well written) who welcomes every guest of the hotel, she advised us where to go, eat, do....she was so helpful!! If it wasn't for he we would have missed many things there. We wish we could remember every single staff name, from reception to cleaners, waiters, they are all super professional. Service is exquisite, a la carte and with local food options. Free bikes to go around which were so handy. Bed has a mosquito net that they prepared for us everyday. What can I say about this place? We will be back!"The Hue House: "Roof restaurant Tops it in Ho Chi Min City"
"This roof top restaurant is a lovely spot in district 3. You wouldn't know it was there as the front of it looks like an office block. Look for the Masters Building in Tran Cao Van (just around the corner from the Novotel Hotel). Food was sensational together with great service from our waiter Anh Phuc. It has a lovely ambience and decor with a great drinks / food variety menu catering for all tastes. We went there twice whilst in HCMC, highly recommend this restaurant. We didn't book either time and was able to get in easily . My tip: try the Ga Nurong Dan Toc A Luoi - grilled Chicken"Tugu Malang: "Amazing!!"
This hotel is the 'Raffles' of Indonesia....an amazing collection of the finest antiques and every space has a surprise!!!... just stay or go for a drink but it's a must see if you visit Malang....there is also a quaint little shop attached selling every type of Indonesian biscuits, crackers or lollies...we just love this place!
