Villa Song Saigon: "Hotel de charme"

Review by: Fabienne V | Source: Trip Advisor
Situated in a very quiet area in HCMC (District 2), the Villa Song is a magnificent colonial style hotel. The view to the river is just an enchantment for the eyes. The services provided in the spa are really excellent. If you can't afford to stay at the hotel, just go and have a drink or a lunch, it's a nice experience!

Manukan Island Resort: "Staff are there main asset"

Review by: Cornflakerb | Source: Trip Advisor
"We visited here for a 4 night short holiday at the end of our main holiday in Malaysia. We were very impressed with all the staff at the resort. They excel in customer service and really do go out of there way to make your stay enjoyable. We made some comments about the breakfast ( not covered / few flies buzzing around) - it was addressed straightway, professionally. The chalet we had was very nice and enjoyed having our little beach to come and go as we please. Everywhere is very clean. The island it self doesn't have a huge choice of things to do, other than snorkel, and is definitely bring a book place. The island is busy during the day with day trippers but it's great at night when you get it you self - you get to wander about, sat on the jetty watching the fish. There a few good food choices - the main restaurant is good - slightly more expressive than mainland but then food is imported. You might get tired of the menu after a few days - a refresh or daily specials would be good. It's doesn't offer a huge number of options for families but if you just want somewhere to relax and watch the world go by with excellent services I would recommend."

Sanak Retreat Bali: "Gorgeous resort to relax"

Review by: BrakelSyl | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed end of April in a 2 bedroom villa with our two teenagers. Arrived by own rental car, and found it very easy to find the accommodation, we used the off line google maps on our mobile, and there were some good signs along the way too. Got a warm welcome in the restaurant, with good explanation and a tour around our villa, which was great. The two rooms bungalows all have incredible views to the pool, rice fields and valley. We had two balconies and a verandah, it was so peaceful to sit there and enjoy the jungle concert and view the gorgeous sunsets. The pool was clean, fresh (but not too cold) and spacious, with enough sunbeds and umbrellas. We also loved the funny Indonesian food car, from which you could take the pooltowels. Several times a week the local dance group came there to practice, we loved watching the beautiful girls. With our own car we visited the Buddhist monastery, which was only 25 minutes away. Great serene place! Also did the guided trekking with Berly, which was a very sweet and knowledgable young man. The trip included a swim in the natural spring, which was very refreshing. Our villa had so much nice decorations, and blinds to keep the sun out of the room. It has 2 fans inside, and also a fan on every balcony/verandah. There was no A/C/ but it was no problem at all, this was the coolest house of all our accommodations. This is a place for fully relaxation! Love the views so much, despite there can be some fog in Munduk area, the sight here was always clear. We had some rainshowers in the afternoon, but the mornings were very clear, blue sky and warm. Only two remarks: we found the food in the restaurant too expensive for what we got, compared to our other meals on Bali (but we had our own transport, so we went to Munduk many times) and maybe the ""say goodbye"" could have been as warm as the welcome (?), like in all other places we stay on Bali. But we recommend this place to everyone, it was really a pleasure to stay here, a wonderful memory."

Tugu Malang: "Incontournable"

Review by: k4sh44 | Source: Trip Advisor
"L'hôtel, fait office de musée avec une collection de différents objets plus ou moins anciens de différents horizons (principlement d'Asie). Le prix de l'entrée est à 95000 roupies et compte pour une consommation (liquide ou repas). Le personnel parle bien anglais"

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Ort der Harmonie und Gaumenfreude"

Review by: Markus V | Source: Trip Advisor
Ein Ort der Harmonie in der Metropole Yangon. Zum Wohlfühlen und sich verwöhnen lassen. Liebevoll gestaltet.

Supanniga Eating Room: "Great Thai food, not great street food but delicious nonetheless"

Review by: khonkaen | Source: Trip Advisor
We stop by for dinner every year here and are never disappointed. It’s a nice looking restaurant lively and well designed. Staff is courteous friendly and takes care of the customers. Food is delicious, clean (no msg), served quickly. Prices are ok, plates are small so order a lot. We ordered a crab prik thai dish ( most expensive item on the menu (600 baht)) and it was fantastic. See you next year

Glenburn Tea Estate: "Absolute gem in the Himalayas"

Review by: abbabal | Source: Trip Advisor
"My mum and I spent a wonderful, serene few days at Glenburn and we absolutely loved it. Each (huge) room was quaint and charming in old Colonial style, all with their own unique theme - ours was the Rose Room. We went at the recommendation of two friends, who also stayed at Glenburn together with us, and we even made new friends over the communal dinner table. The staff were helpful with everything from making a cup of the delicious home grown tea to organising hikes and day trips. They prepared three meals a day, of various Indian and western cuisines, and even packed delicious picnics that were brought to us on our hikes. They were also very accommodating with food allergies. The surrounding gardens and tea plantations are absolutely exquisite, and it is definitely worth going on hikes around the area, especially the hikes down to the river through Darjeeling's own plantation, and up through the local village to the neighbouring plantations in Kalimpong. There is free wifi but the signal isn't too strong in the rooms - leave the laptop behind and bring a couple of books to read while soaking in the view on the terrace. Be prepared for an extremely bumpy and windy ride from Bagdogra airport. If you are at all prone to motion sickness then I would strongly recommend bringing a motion sickness armband or tablets, and ask the driver to take the calmer road through Darjeeling town rather than the precarious ""highway"" that passes the Bhutanese border."

Locavore: "Absolute excellence"

Review by: Danya66 | Source: Trip Advisor
Locavore was recommended to us by friends. It is a wonderful food experience to have in Ubud. Expect many more courses than you think and everything you put in you mouth is superb. Presentation, particular the crockery is unique. Loved everything. It is a set menu - 5 or 7 courses for lunch. We chose 5 but you get many more. We were there for my husbands 60th birthday and they presented him with a cake in a coconut with candle at the end. Very special.
