Tugu Malang: "Unique, Stylish, & All-Time Favorite Hotel"

Review by: Audrey_Golden | Source: Trip Advisor
I love this hotel. It's an incredibly unique place that's adorned throughout with Indonesian antiques, and it also has an incredible antique shop for browsing or buying (not to mention a very large and well-curated selection of Balinese silver jewelry, both contemporary and vintage). The rooms are fantastic, filled with super stylish antiques, art, and fresh flowers. The hotel also has incredibly cool stationery in each room, reminiscent of grand hotels of the early 20th century. Melati Restaurant, part of the hotel, serves some of the best food in all of Java. This place is truly special and has to be one of my favorite hotels anywhere in the world.

Manukan Island Resort: "Beach villa"

Wonderful refitted rooms, completed in January 2017. Private beach and pool for residents. Delicious food. The resort staff cannot do enough to ensure you enjoy your stay. Day trips snorkeling and scuba diving available.

Nimmu House: "A lovely place to relax and acclimatise!"

Review by: Ana I | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We started our journey in lovely Ladakh from Nimmu House. It was a perfect start. We received a very warm welcome followed by 2 days of comfort and lot of personal attention. The apricot and apple trees were in bloom and we were allowed to pick as and when! It is a great eco friendly retreat from busy city life. Chef Mahesh cooked superb meals which were served in the courtyard in open air as weather was lovely. Sumo is a wonderful lady who is an extremely helpful and pleasant person. Overall a very satisfying stay. Would recommend definitely. Free Wifi is available but in certain areas only., We started our journey to explore Ladakh with Shanti travels. They were brilliant right from pick up from delhi airport till the drop off 10 days later. I would also like to mention guide Wanchuk and Rigzin-driver; they were superb throughout our time in Ladakh."

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Perfection"

Review by: Abby R | Source: Trip Advisor
Quiet, relaxed, pampered, healthy and delicious food. The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean. Wonderful little touches such as flowers on the beds and towels. Always flowers in charming stone basins around the property. Service was superb. Morning yoga jumpstarted my home practice. Perfect get away!

David’s Kitchen: "Incredible from beginning to end"

Review by: Karen H | Source: Trip Advisor
All of the superlatives for David's kitchen are well deserved-it is clear that all the people here care and pay attention. Yes David does make an effort to speak to all diners and even more impressive he actually remembers what was said. We received an email the next day detailing our conversation and giving the name of a restaurant in Singapore he had suggested we would love. The food is among the best we have had-Chinag Mai is indeed lucky to have such a high calibre restaurant. We had the seared Tuna(which was presented as beautifully as it tasted) and Foie gras. I had the surf and turf as it was my birthday celebration and my husband had the beef cheeks that were exceptional. The attention to all the details from reservation to greeting to seating and through the dinner, we felt cared for and appreciated. This truly is an exceptional team who deliver on the promise of a fine dining experience- and that it is- A SUPERIOR EXPERIENCE.Well done!

Talabgaon Castle: "Gorgeous Polo Palace"

Review by: Laura C | Source: Trip Advisor
A trip through Rajasthan palaces would be an elegant and interesting adventure. Talabgaon Palace, located between Jaipur and Ranthambore is a not-to-miss gem. The small village on the way to the polo estate is charming and pretty. Like the other palaces I've visited, out party was greeted with cool drinks and warm washcloths. We were lucky enough to get a tour of some of the rooms, all of which are beautifully appointed with antiques and original works of art. Every room is unique and very luxurious. On the grounds is a very large swimming pool with a pool house, large grassy areas for dining, and a very large polo field. The Duke of Edinburgh and Queen Elizabeth II have graced this swanky locale--for the polo and the luxury digs. We were treated a very delicious supper set up outside, just for us. It was the sort of thing you see in travel mags, but rarely does it feel like 'this is your palace' for as long as you are a guest. The manager Aditya Singh works very hard behind the scenes to provide you with a seamless maharajah-style experience.

Mathis Retreat: "Too short stay – will be back"

Review by: Damien D | Source: Trip Advisor
"We regularly come to Bali and Ubud has been our Favourite for years. This was our 1st stay at Mathis Retreat (we had tried the Seminyak Sister resort) and we clearly wished we had stayed longer (we had to fly back on 31st). Despite the slow start (restaurant was closed when we reached at 4pm and staff was not very excited and Creative to prepare anything for 3 starving kids), all the rest was only good if not great surprises. Big and clean connecting rooms on the ground floor of one of the building, rice fields view, great dinner food with nice wine selection, scooters organized in advance, late check-out where we kept 1 room until 5:30pm, very friendly staffs, tasty breakfast with several freshly made options,... Of course, the price is not cheap but definitely worth the money. We'll come back and stay longer !"

The Apsara Rive Droite: "One of the best values in old Luang Prabang"

Review by: BKKPeter | Source: Trip Advisor
"The Apsara is my go to place for trips to Luang Prabang. It has a history (as opposed to the pop up colonial places built nearby in the past few years), excellent staff, and an appropriate level of comfort that's just right for LP. You're on the Nam Khaen, so you avoid a lot of the tourist noise, but you're only a block away. And their kitchen is good, too. Stayed September 2016"

Inle Princess Resort: "Luxury relaxation"

Review by: Reblecka | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is the perfect place to relax during your visit to Myanmar. Settle in for a slower pace and just admire the scenery. The rooms are very large and have an amazing bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers and a full tub. We had a room on the water with a lovely view of the marsh. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the mornings and evenings watching the water. The property is a long drive from the airport so be prepared for that but it's a interesting drive. The hotel staff is very helpful and accommodating. Use them to arrange tours of the Inle Lake area for $30-$40 dollars. We visited many of the local attractions- lotus/silk weavers, boat makers, cigar makers, cat monastery. Some have a small tour but nobody was pushy. The restaurant on the property is very good which is great since there are few options for dinner off property due to the fact that it's a bit of a drive to town and I don't think the boats run after dark. You can't go wrong by booking here."

Talabgaon Castle: "Best of India"

Review by: A TripAdvisor Member | Source: Trip Advisor
"I can't begin to express how incredibly gracious the manager and staff are and how hard they worked to make sure our stay was nothing short of magical. Do yourself a favor and add this to your itinerary if exploring Northern India. We went to Jaipur right after by car and driver. So this was definitely doable, even if just for one night. Be sure to get cash out before you arrive and come hungry. The chef is fantastic. They have a bar and a beautiful pool on the property as well. Safe travels! Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"
