"We visited Villa Song on our last night in Vietnam. What a wonderful boutique Hotel. The staff could not be more helpful The room we had was on the ground floor with access to the pool area, the room was spacious and very comfortable. The manager was so good he let us purchase an item from his hotel entrance as he said he could get a replacement from Hanoi. "Ein wunderschöner Ort, den wir vier Tage lang genossen haben. Das war nach der langen Reise der ideale Einstieg für Laos. Von hier aus kann man die alte Königsstadt Luang Prabang erkunden - und kehrt gerne wieder zurück. Das historische Haus mit seinem zauberhaften Garten, den Pools, der Bar und dem sehr guten Restaurant ist nach den Besichtigungstagen eine Oase der Entspannung. Sehr freundlicher Service. This charming hotel reflects what for me is the real luxury rooms with all comforts but without redundancy, the materials of the hotel and the rooms are very tastefully decorated rooms, essential and refined. In a country where chinoiserie are on the agenda, see rigor and sophistication make this place a place where you want to stop and savor a bit 'of tranquility. The hospitality of the staff is absolutely the best I've found in China. I liked the fact that it is a structure with a floor, every room and it faces a courtyard, all very nice.The River Resort: "Wunderschön"
Es geht nicht besser. Eine wunderschöne Anlage. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im ersten Stock mit Mekongblick. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und praktisch eingerichtet. Der Boden hätte etwas sauberer sein können. Vielleicht wurde nicht feucht gewischt? Bei unserem Einzug waren die Fächer recht staubig. Wir haben sie vor dem Einräumen ausgewischt. Der Service war ansonsten einwandfrei. Gerade auch im Restaurant. Die beiden Pools sind sehr schön, es sind ausreichend viele Liegen vorhanden.Satri House: "elegant and family friendly"
we stayed as 2 parents, 2 children and a grandparent. We were conveniently given 2 adjoining rooms, both gorgeous and spacious. Satri house is larger than expected and very pretty, I kept getting lost on the way to breakfast! The 2 swimming pools were fantastic and refreshing. The staff were all very friendly, even when we were struggling to communicate! Julie and Gianni are very helpful and kind. My husband loved their Lao whiskey! One morning we got up at 4.30am to see the morning alms. However we found there were monks just in front of the hotel which was very beautiful to see. Our kids treasure the little Hill tribe dolls they were each given as we sadly departed. Although it is not right in the heart of Luang Prabang, it was an easy walk and easier tuk tuk away. "Shuttle water taxis allowed easy entry into the city and a quick escape at the end of the day. Tours to chi chi tunnels and Mekong delta pick you up at their river jetty and make for a beautiful way to experience the beauty of Ho Chi Minh. The facilities at the hotel were top notch and unobtrusive. The hotel's exceptional service was appreciated and staff were friendly and efficient. it is definitely the hotel to go to if you are starting your trip or ending it. Spoil yourself and give yourself at least 3-5 nights here so you can soak up the pleasures of riverside living in Ho Chi Minh City. "Mathis Retreat: "Great views, great staff, great stay"
"Spent 5 nights here with our two kids (aged 2.5 and 9months) and thoroughly recommend it. Spacious rooms, beautiful views overlooking the rice fields, great pool, good food. Far enough away from downtown Ubud, but close enough to get there when needed. Staff couldn't have been nicer, and were more than happy to whisk our kids away to play - allowing us to relax at the end of meals. Thoroughly recommended. Spectacular resort set within a coffee plantation. Think being on yr 60 m2 terrace While facing forest and a Volcano, while you r hearing the Muezzins prayers. Breakfast and Dinners r great with a lot of European food offer (practical if you have kids and you do not want always discuss). Great Service and a lot of activities, such Yoga and Java dance classes, included in the price.Hotel Tugu Lombok: "Amazing Lombok"
This is our second trip to Tugu Lombok which is very unusual for us as we rarely return to a holiday destination we've previously been so that speaks highly for Tugu. We are avid international travellers and travel on average 4-6 times a year and Tugu holds a special place in our hearts. It's a stunning setting so full of character and charm (unlike many souless 5 star hotels). Its a photographer's dream. The accomodation, food and service is second to none. Though unfortunately I can't remember all the names of the attentive and gracious staff I do want to thank one of the managers Hanny for her wonderful hospitality and impeccable customer service. I can't recommend this hotel enough.
