Reverie Siam: "Peace in Pai"
Reverie Siam Resort provided the peace we were seeking in Pai as it is located away from the tourist fray. All aspects of the property were outstanding, including the beautiful room and friendly staff. Our two meals in the restaurant were phenomenal. We hope to visit again!Villa Song Saigon: "Beautiful atmosphere"
"We stayed here for 2 nights in a beautiful suite. Big clean rooms, bathroom and really comfortable bed! The villa is on the Sai gon river, where you can enjoy the view having good food and drinks in the lovely garden. The breakfast starts at 6.30 a la carte and you don't need to rush because you can have it at anytime you want! Food is amazing! The swimming pool is big and beautiful. The staff is friendly, always smiling and ready to help you! We really enjoyed our stay here, if we would come back to Saigon, this would be fore sure our first choice again. "Satri House: "Lovely oasis in Luang Prabang"
"We stayed at Satri House for 3 nights at the end of our Laos trip. The hotel rooms are beautifully refurbished and full of antiques (and have modern showers & A/C!). Rooms fumigated every night too to get rid of mosquitos. Lovely pool to relax in and little poolside bar. Free bikes on offer to explore the city and the staff are very helpful in arranging / suggesting places to visit and restaurants. No TVs in the room help relax and adjust to the pace of life! Stayed December 2016, traveled as a couple"Le Du Wine Bar & Restaurant: "A brilliant fusion of modern french with Thai flavours"
"Food at Le Du was quite exquisite. A simple menu with about 12 dishes in total spread across 4 courses. Each course has 3 dishes and you select each one for each of the 4 courses. The wine menu is extensive with reds from Portugal an interesting selection. Fusing modern French culinary dining with a Thai twist by adding subtle flavors of Thailand really made the dishes unique and stand out. I generally find Thai food too overbearing sometimes being too sweet, too salty, or both on most occasions. Even the top ranked restaurants like Nahm the food is horrendously salty to be almost unpalatable. Gaggan can sometimes be equally overkill on the salt. But at Le Du for once I was always looking forward to the next dish to taste how the chef gently infused Thai flavors into the his creations and almost on all occasions he delivered. I thought the desserts failed to carry the brilliance all the way through to the end with the cheesecake dish tasting and looking like it was from BreadTalk with a scoop of ice cream added. Unfortunate considering the previous 3 dishes were outstanding. Will definitely give the restaurant another try when they change their menu. "Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Charming Mansion"
"My experience at the Blue Mansion was pleasant from start to end. The staff was very welcoming, courteous, and polite. Our room was very spacious, clean, and included little snacks and juices. Walking through the mansion's dimly lit walkways, having the fresh air outside your door, and admiring the architecture and detail of the decor add to a majestic feel I appreciated while staying in Penang. The included breakfast was very well prepared and the staff always accommodating. I would no doubt stay at the Blue Mansion the next time I'm in Penang. Stayed November 2016, traveled with family"Rakkojae Seoul: "A secret oasis in the middle of a bustling city – a gem"
"An exquisite traditional house (hanok) set on a side street off Bukchonro road in the center of the Bukchon neighborhood. Set around a quiet courtyard, there are four beautiful rooms – each different. We had the smallest room, but with it came a dark wood porch jutting out into the courtyard and it was here where we had delicious breakfasts (one morning: mackerel, kimchee, pickles, a delicious seaweed rice porridge and barley tea.) You can also arrange to have a Korean dinner – we had a delicious one of Galbi, lots of small dishes (panchan) and chapchae. To unwind even more there is a small sauna tucked into the hanok – woven mats on the floor and patterns of cherry blossom trees, an excellent way to relax after a long day of exploring. To top it off the host is incredibly sweet, friendly and helpful. Mr. Kim provided with all sorts of ideas and recommendations as we planned our adventures. A true hidden gem in a great bustling and modern city. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"Supanniga Cruise: "Supanniga Cruise Menu"
Wow! What a nice surprise. This was my first river cruise in Bangkok, and I never really expected a Thai gourmet dinner. The food was very good and beautifully presented. There was: Taittinger champagne and an Amuse Bouche of fried Thai mackerel wrapped with Chaplu leaves, an Appetizer of 3 minced pork stir-fried with garlic and peanuts, pomelo salad with grilled prawn and spicy minced chicken salad, a Soup- Thai spicy soup with jumbo prawn, then 5 main dishes- pork, crab, fish and "Son-in-law" eggs, Dessert- mango sticky rice (the mango had been shaped into a flower) and to finish Petit Fours and Tea. All outstandingCuca: "Bali is not all about Balinese food. Try Cuca!"
Cuca offers amazing food, comfortable dining atmosphere and wonderful service! Our experiences here were perfect and flawless. Definitely will be back in our visit to Bali.Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Home away from home"
"My 10the stay at this wonderful, simple and warm lodge. Staff are second to none, food is delicious, the views are simply stunning! Jhalak and Hari made us feel very welcome and spoilt us rotten! The rooms all have a view and are spread over the property in chalets. Morning tea is served there and used as a wake up call. No tv or telephones in room. This preserves the tranquil atmosphere."The Hue House: "Vietnamese traditional restaurant"
You have to try this when you come HCMC. This is one of Vietnam traditional restaurant in Hochiminh City with speciality meals. Service is good with nice staff, nice decoration - very "Hue". Nice try.
