Blackitch Artisan Kitchen: "Kreativ, authentische gehobene Küche"

Review by: Schmackofatz D | Source: Trip Advisor
"Sehr köstliche, kreative und authentische gehobene Küche. Die Atmosphäre ist trotzdem familiär und ungezwungen. Die verwendeten Zutaten ideal aneinander abgestimmt. Es war unheimlich köstlich. Gerne wieder!"

Villa Song Saigon: "Just what we wanted"

Review by: jmjj3523 | Source: Trip Advisor
The hotel is situated a little out of the mad rush of HCMC but with the boat shuttle downtown and the pleasant outlook dining on the terrace alongside the river it was a great way to start our holiday. The staff could not have been friendlier or more professional. Their recommendations where to go in the city for money changing etc were spot on. And having an al a carte breakfast of the highest quality was a geat way to start the day. The one dinner we had here was first class and the cocktails were delightful. An indication of the quality of the hotel. It is shutting soon for renovations- the step down to the terrace does need attention- but while thta happens the staff are not laid off but are getting English lessons! And that is only building on an already first class ability to communicate in a foreign language. The attention of the staff to us was a highlight and reason in itself to return -and we shall.

David’s Kitchen: "Fantastic meal and service"

Review by: Rachel Q | Source: Trip Advisor
"Myself and two friends visited David's kitchen on a Saturday night, we did not have a reservation but David was very happy to accommodate us. He took the time to ask us about our trip and what our plans were, while also giving us advice on other attractions and bars in the area. The food and service was amazing, the best we've eaten on our trip. The staff regulately enquired as to whether we needed anything. The chocolate souffle an tiramisu were the best we've ever had. The staff were all kind and attentive, really setting the experience apart. The personal touches and attentions really made a difference and added to a wonderful evening."

Reverie Siam: "What a little gem of a place this is"

Review by: Niki M | Source: Trip Advisor
We heard good reports about this place and just had the weekend there. It was probably one of my nicest off the cuff getaways and just a 3 ½ hour drive from Chiangmai. Management is under the careful eye of Sebastian who is English and clearly makes sure that attention to detail is not missed. This property has been magnificently designed to give that period feel and look with close attention to not just the decor but the collection of antiques and artefacts which surround the property. The food and extensive choice of wines was just excellent and I must mention how pleasant and polite all of the staff were. Proof that a small family owned and operated property can be better than those big corporates. We highly recommend this hotel and are already looking forward to our return soon.

Mie Cafe: "I would return to Siem Reap just to eat here again! Top, top food!!"

Review by: Troubleonline | Source: Trip Advisor
"In short I absolutely loved this restaurant and the food we ate here!! For me our meal here was one the highlights of Siem Reap - possibly better than battling the crowds at some of the temples! In fact it was 7 months ago but I cannot forget how good it was. Probably one of the best meals I ate anywhere this year or ever in SE Asia. Lovely building (traditional wooden house) set in a nice garden. We caught a taxi to get there as was a little out of town but really not far and definitely worth the 5 or so minute ride. We shared starters including yummy scallops but the highlight was the marinated frogs legs that were served perched around the most deliciously garlicky wild mushroom tart. Heaven on a plate! I had the most amazing grilled king or tiger prawns drizzled with curry sauce and rice crackers whilst hubby had their infamous pork ribs with french fries. I wasn't wild about the ribs but hubby loved them and preferred them to my prawns. So happily there was less sharing on that course. For dessert I had Mango Banana Sombai made with the local sombai liquer - looked like mush but tasted divine - no sharing! Hubby had chocolate cake with ice cream. We also had a lovely bottle of Chilean Sauvignon Blanc (Anakena) and I think a cocktail and beer to start. A must go for foodies who appreciate well made food! Would recommend eating slightly earlier than we did as it closes at 9.15pm and was a little quiet by the time we arrived for our 8pm reservation and empty when we left. A 7pm may have been better. Book in advance so you do not miss! Only disconcerting part was eating the delicious frog legs against what I think was the sound of frogs croaking in the garden although we could swear their calls dropped whilst we ate them ;-)"

Maison Polanka: "the coisy intimacy of luxury"

Review by: fbay2011 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Amaizing experience!!! Great location, beautiful and peaceful place with a fantastic staff. This is a place we would love to call home (maybe because it was decorated as a personal Home). Every room has its character, really comfortable after a morning a visit.Food is excellent. As for the service, it was exceptional, especially considering the size of the hotel. The founders and owners have created an exclusive piece of luxury: true peace. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"

The Cabochon Hotel: "Classic eclectic"

Review by: Bin Amer N | Source: Trip Advisor
"The furnishing and finish is exquisite. The surgical head lamps near the kitchen and classic England sink and toilet bowl are just some examples how the hotel endeavours to capture the past. The service from the hotel staff is the best out there. Limited number of rooms so you feel like you are the only guest here. Interesting breakfast layout where you can dine amongst the hotel lobby areas. Will definitely have fond memory of 45 sukhumvit road. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"

Tugu Bali: "Awesome hotel!"

Review by: Sophia L | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed at tugu for the beginning of our honeymoon, the location is unbeatable we were in walking distance to the beach and to shops and great food. Staff was attentive and friendly and very helpful! We were mostly in town for surfing so we spent only evenings at the hotel but the pool gorgeous and the day beds close to The beach offer a great sunset view of the beach. We will be back hopefully!!"

Sandat Glamping Tents: "Camping “Glamping” – WOW!"

Review by: KCH2000 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed at Glamping Sandat for three nights which was a birthday surprise from my wife! It was one of the highlights of our Bali trip. It was so peaceful. We hired a moped to get into Ubud centre because the location is difficult to reach by car - you literally go through paddy fields to get there, which adds to it's charm. We had the most blessed stays. The 'tents' are beautifully designed. It's so relaxing to fall asleep to the sounds of local nature. The communal dining table area is lovely. Food is good. I think it will be hard to beat this place. You have to try it! Especially as you have your own private infinite pool!"

Rak Ko Jae Seoul: "A secret oasis in the middle of a bustling city – a gem"

Review by: Jesstwiga L | Source: Trip Advisor
"An exquisite traditional house (hanok) set on a side street off Bukchonro road in the center of the Bukchon neighborhood. Set around a quiet courtyard, there are four beautiful rooms – each different. We had the smallest room, but with it came a dark wood porch jutting out into the courtyard and it was here where we had delicious breakfasts (one morning: mackerel, kimchee, pickles, a delicious seaweed rice porridge and barley tea.) You can also arrange to have a Korean dinner – we had a delicious one of Galbi, lots of small dishes (panchan) and chapchae. To unwind even more there is a small sauna tucked into the hanok – woven mats on the floor and patterns of cherry blossom trees, an excellent way to relax after a long day of exploring. To top it off the host is incredibly sweet, friendly and helpful. Mr. Kim provided with all sorts of ideas and recommendations as we planned our adventures. A true hidden gem in a great bustling and modern city. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"
