Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Sublime😍😍😍"
RIEN A redire !!!! Juste PARFAIT Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Such an amazing resort !!! In my heart forever"
"Travelling with my husband and friends, my aim was to go to Koh kong island, and I only have chosen the 4 Rivers Lodge to be a good location to reach the island. But when we discovered the island was too far away, we decided to remain in the resort for 3 days. After my disappointment of not going to Koh Kong island, I can say that I spent there one of the best vacations of my life !!! How calm it is ! You feel so cool, you only listen to birds, and the river noise.... The bedroom is fantastic... The visit to the Tatai waterfalls is so great, and the cayac ride around the island in front of the lodge is very fun... A specific award to Luce, the office manager, who was so nice with us... I really appreciated her kindness, so seldom nowadays.... When we left, I felt so bad... I would have liked to stay more.... Don't hesitate to choose this lodge, you will never regret it."Satri House: "Gorgeous hotel!"
We stayed at this hotel 4 nights and it was a very relaxing stay. The grounds are beautiful and the sculptures that are in the hotel and gardens are wonderful. The food at the hotel was good and I would recommend eating there one night. Loved Luang Prabang!Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Wonderful holiday in a beautiful setting"
hank you to all the staff at Neeleshwar for making it a truly memorable stay. The location/setting is beautiful and the sunset over the sea and lagoon breathtaking. A wonderful place to relax (although not the place to go if you want a lot of activities). We enjoyed the yoga, the spa and a keralan cookery class with the chef and have already managed a very passable chicken curry and poratha at home!! The rooms are very comfortable and worth upgrading to the seaview rooms which are just lovely. There are outside bathrooms with all mod cons which work very well in the heat. Lovely to relax on the balcony or in the hammock with a drink. The food was superb with a choice of curries in the main restaurant or fresh seafood on the beach. Christmas sorted with an excellent selection of gifts in the shop! Cant wait to return ....Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Idyllic retreat"
"Just outside Pokhara, on a hilltop and away from the blare of the horns, it was just the break I needed in this stylish lodge in its idyllic setting. With probably the very best views of the Annapurna mountains the view from my bungalow across the valley to the Fish Tail Mountain was enchanting. It was a lovely clear morning, so certainly a wonderful way to start the day. I'd visited Tiger Mountain Lodge a few years earlier, so I was delighted to return again for a weekend. Marcus Cotton, owner of the hotel is excellent company and I enjoyed very much chatting with him over coffee, sitting on the terrace overlooking the magnificent views. (...) On my second morning, I was very glad I'd made the effort to get up at the crack of dawn to spend some time to admire the early morning sun and mountain views, and to stroll around the gardens birdwatching for an hour or so with Hari, one of the Lodge's three very knowledgeable resident nature guides. The staff here are attentive in the nicest, friendlies but unobtrusive way. I felt very spoilt, totally relaxed and was very sorry when I had to leave."Muang La Resort: "We Will Go Back"
Set by the river and surrounded by beautiful countryside, this is a lovely place to stop for a few days on a trip round Northern Laos. The resort is extremely well maintained and the staff are friendly, welcoming and professional. The rooms are stylish, well equipped and very clean. The bathrooms are excellent. We went on a couple of trips in the local area while we were there, and although the weather was very wet during our stay, our excellent guide made sure we got the best out of them, which wasn't difficult as the scenery in the area is stunning. As others have said, the food at the resort is very good and the staff, rightly, take a lot of pride in it. In spite of this, they were still very tolerant of of our fussy teenagers and were happy to adapt the five course evening meals to suit them. We organised our transport through the resort, from Luang Prabang and onwards to Luang Namtha. It wasn't cheap, but was well worth it as the road from Luang Prabang to Oudomxai is poor in parts and our driver was excellent. All in all, it's hard to fault this resort, in fact it's quite remarkable to find one of such quality in such an isolated area. The Apsara Rive Droite: "ideal location, lovely rooms"
"One of the first truly boutique hotels to open on the middle of the old UNESCO quarter of Luang Prabang, it is still going very strong. I was welcomed by a nice basket of fruit. Staff was genuinely happy to see me again. Rooms are very large and decorated in a very Indochine style with a twist of modernity. A lovely place to relax and to use as a base to explore this charming small town. Breakfast is included and is lovely. A choice of Asian or Western with fresh fruit and orange juice. Has a very good restaurant, one of the best in Luang Prabang. Prices are very easonable. Stayed April 2017, traveled solo"4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Unforgettable Paradise!!!!"
"What a magical place this is, after 5 hour drive from Phnom Penh and 30 minutes boat ride we arrived to 4 rivers and was welcome by Luiz with welcome drinks and fresh cold towels after a long journey who explained that we were the only ones there for the night. Just my luck as I wanted to propose to my girlfriend. Anna at 4 rivers had suggested all ideas for the perfect proposal plan. On the night we arrived we went to see the fireflies, once we headed back to the tents there was candles and red carpet into the tent and there was the perfect setting for my proposal.(...) Everything exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived to the day we left, the staff are always smiling, very friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed. The entire setting is a paradise floating on a river with well-equipped tent and great views of the river. We only had 2 nights here on this amazing place but it was the best 2 nights ever which we’ll never forget."Supanniga Eating Room: "Amazing and varied selection of great food"
Great little find this restaurant, fantastic food in a good location that is both quiet and accessible. I highly recommend the Isan-style Pork Steak.Tugu Bali: "Simply Amazing"
"Absolutely loved this place. It was the first of 3 hotels we stayed at over 2 weeks in Bali and although the others were exceptional (e.g. Alila Uluwatu) Hotel Tugu holds a very special place in our hearts. The service was faultless - genuine and friendly from the very start, there were so many special moments, made all the more special by the fantastic team - whether it was someone running to give us a towel on the beach, or making our romantic dinner on the raised beds outside so special, or making sure our tea was how we like it. The food is great too - go for the Indonesian food (which makes up most of the menu). We liked wandering around the local area to find drinks and food but often ended up coming back to the hotel as the food was so good. They've also just recently opened a Japanese restaurant which was good too - especially for cocktails up on the balcony watching the world go by. Speaking of the local area, there's a great beach for chilling, surfing and walking along, some good shops set back from the beach, and a busy bar just across from the hotel entrance. We stayed in Le Mayeur suite which is a raised house on a lily pond. Huge rooms, private mini-pool, and semi-outdoor bath amongst everything else. You get to the suite via a couple of raised wooden walkways over the lilies. One of the walkways is private for the Le Mayeur suite and an excellent place to enjoy the delicious breakfasts. The whole hotel (including the room) is full of antiques, which makes for a very special feel. It was probably the most calming hotel we've every stayed in. Someone is building a block of flats next door - I hope it doesn't impact Hotel Tugu's calm and serenity too much as it really was perfect. I guess we'll find out next year when we return!"
