The Island Lodge: "Serenity"

Review by: C V | Source: Trip Advisor
"Recently went here a second time and it pure bliss. The resort is stunning, beautifully designed accompanied by good service and a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere. We live in Saigon and we usually travel outside the country when we have any spare time but we make time to come to Island Lodge because it's that's great. We're actually going for our third visit in less than a week. Can't wait. "

Blackitch Artisan Kitchen: "Amazing, friendly, creative"

Review by: kbold | Source: Trip Advisor
If you really like great food cooked by passionate and friendly people, this is the restaurant you’re looking for. The food is first and foremost delicious. But it’s everything else that really makes this place shine. They focus on local ingredients, used with a modern sensibility in dishes that are still recognizably Thai. (Even having eaten around Thailand there was plenty we were unfamiliar with.) Each fantastic course comes with a chat with the chef - as brief or extensive as you want. These are people who want to share their love for their food with you. Honestly, as foodies, this is the meal we’d been looking for since we arrived.

Manda De Laos: "WOW! A must visit in Luang Prabang"

Tugu Bali: "Wonderful property and top-notch service"

Review by: Jennifer J | Source: Trip Advisor
Stayed here for my birthday in May, and found the service to be amazing. The entire staff was friendly but not obtrusive, and the hotel grounds are just beautiful. They also helped my friends arrange a birthday surprise for me; highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway! Also very close to all of the fun nightlife in Canggu.

The Hue House: "Top Restaurants"

Villa Song Saigon: "Wonderful Oasis on the River"

Review by: foodfiendAustralia | Source: Trip Advisor
"I was fortunate enough to spend last weekend at Villa Song in Ho Chi Minh. The hotel is perfect...all the rooms have a wonderful colonial feel to them. My room had a balcony overlooking the river-perfect for a leisurely breakfast or a cocktail later on with my friends. While the hotel itself is beautiful, what set Villa Song apart was the service. The staff went the extra mile constantly to make our stay perfect. I can't recommend the hotel highly enough for anybody looking for a relaxed, elegant place to stay."

Inle Princess Resort: "Charming hotel in a beautiful place"

Review by: Selalupergi | Source: Trip Advisor
As part of our trip around Myanmar, we spent two nights at the Inle Princess Resort. We arrived at night, meaning we didn't see the grounds until the sun came up the next morning - it was magical. Little bungalows either directly overlook Inle Lake, or two sweet ponds covered with lotus flowers within the resort. The rooms may be a little dated but are very well maintained and truly charming - lovely painting on the walls no matter where you go in the resort. There is also an in-room fireplace for the winter-time where staff can keep a fire going all night! Beds are very comfortable, all the amenities are there and should you seek more the staff will go out of their way to accommodate you. The out-door shower is fantastic! Especially during a rain storm... very romantic. The food is delicious, all locally sourced and prepared either Myanmar style or Western. I had dietary requirements as I have allergies and they were very helpful. Truly very delicious- don't miss the tofu dish on the Myanmar menu, and you must try Shaan noodles for breakfast. The pool is also adorable, set in the middle of rice paddies. Delightful. Our stay was really wonderful, and visiting Inle Lake was a magical experience within itself. Probably our favorite hotel from the entire trip. Thank you!

David’s Kitchen: "A delicious dinner"

Review by: Peter K | Source: Trip Advisor
My wife and I visited David's Kitchen last night for the first time since we moved to Chiang Mai a few months ago. Our only regret is that we didn't visit earlier! Everything about the evening was excellent - the quality of the food, the wines available by the glass, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, and our chat with the proprietor David (who then followed up with an email of thanks this morning). We look forward to returning to experience the re-modelled dining room.

Locavore: "Spectacular"

Review by: ian p | Source: Trip Advisor
This restaurant has lots of great reviews so we went with high expectations. We had the 5 course meal however there were about 4 little courses before that even started. The presentation on different rocks is spectacular and the food matches it. Not cheap but the whole experience is worth it

Tugu Lombok: "A place where time stops and moments are created"

Review by: mentkapto | Source: Trip Advisor
"It was our first time in Lombok and after spending a week in Bali we couldn’t be happier with the place. We arrived to Tugu Lombok early in the morning and we were welcomed with a refreshing Natural Juice just before the staff showed us the way to our Villa. After passing through our entrance garden we opened the door to our room. It was impressive. The huge and comfortable bed in the middle of the room was just waiting for me! As I lay in the bed I notice that just in front of me is a beautiful private pool and few meters after the sea! The room was amazing with a lovely open air shower but was made me fall in love for this place was the outdoor area and facilities. The clear blue water was perfect for a swim and the hotel provided us with a complimentary Kayak and Stand up board so we could go explore the waters. Less than 100 meters from the white sand there’s a beautiful reef. It was the first time my girlfriend snorkeled and she absolutely loved it! Seeing so many colorful fishes so close to the beach was something we won’t be forgetting anytime soon. We had our daily breakfast served at the beach . The fresh fruit and the local coffee got me and the scrambled eggs were done to perfection. and even though we wanted to go explore the island we felt so good in the hotel grounds that we barely left Tugu during our stay. The main swimming pool is also a great spot to relax and we got to burn some calories from breakfast by playing Volleyball in the beach area. The design of the dining hall was impressive featuring traditional statues and a gigantic statue of a rooster on the roof. Every corner of the hotel is filled with pieces of Indonesian history. The hardest part of our stay was to leave. It seriously felt like we have stopped in time and lived a dream . Hope to be able to come back next year and live a bit more of our Indonesian dream."
