Tugu Lombok: "Holidays in Paradise"
Our perfect family holiday started with a hotel airport pick-up which included cold drinks and fresh fruits. We stayed with our four year-old son for five days. At our arrival we were upgraded to an oceanfront villa, which was beyond all our expectation. Staff is very friendly and tries to fulfil all special requests. On our first day restaurant service was a bit slow, but the waiter apologised and suggested to pre-order in the afternoon. This arrangement worked perfectly for the rest of the week. We had the beach BBQ which was so good that we wished it would have never ended! We especially enjoyed the serene and peaceful atmosphere of the place. Absolutely perfect to detach and relax. All in all the closest experience to paradise that we ever had.Maduzi Hotel: "Great hotel and very convenient location"
"Summary - great hotel, we were upgraded to a suite as booked through SLH, which was wonderful. Pros -Lovely hotel, suite was huge and bathroom was massive. -Very sleek minimalist decor. -Coffee machine, that made cappuccinos! -Snacks provided daily including drinks, chips, etc. A nice touch. We kept nipping into the nearby 7 11 for beers, water and additional stacks. -Great service. -Great breakfast, although this was only included due to SLH booking. If it is not included it is a little pricey. -Very convenient location to access the rail transport. -Loads and loads of restaurants within walking distance. Cons -We had constant issues with the toilet. It was one of those poorly designed American ones, which tend to block ridiculously easily. However, the staff were great about dealing with the issue on multiple occasions."4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Splendid Relaxation"
"My husband and I ended our 14 days in Cambodia with a 3 night stay at the lodge. It was the perfect end to a wonderful trip. The food was excellent and the staff were most accommodating and friendly. The ability to jump into the river right outside the tent, then relax on the recliner - repeat - was fabulous. The excursion to the waterfalls were particularly memorable. There is no wifi service but it was not missed and added to the relaxation. A stay here goes beyond the great food and fun as the owners of the lodge make a meaningful impact to the people in the local community and the environment. A return trip to Cambodia would certainly include 4 Rivers Floating Lodge."Les Maisons d’Itac: "Best place we stayed in the Philippines"
"Me and my gf spent 4 nights at Les Maisons d'Itac. We were supposed to stay for 3, we loved the place so much we decided to stay 1 more night (we couldn't stay longer as the Mayson Ulisse was not available anymore, so we kept our travel plan on). What can we say? Bryan (who spoke italian, we're italians and we have very charming and nice conversations during our stay) has been the perfect host. Always ready to help, charmful and totally welcoming. We booked our trasfers to Bantayan and back to Cebu through him and it was just perfect! The food at the maisons is great, the location awsome. They have an amazing spot for snorkelling just in front of the resort that you can reach in a few mins swimming. What makes this place special (apart from the view, the nature around, the sea) is the SILENCE. In almost a month in the Philippines we never found such a relaxing spot, where you can fall asleep at night hearing at the waves sounds. A true dream come true. If you're looking for a place to stay around Moalboal (it can be reached in 25 minutes scooter ride from the resort, you can rent just asking Bryan) DO NOT HESITATE to book a stay at the Maisons. p.s: say hi to Itac and Stacey for us :) Ciao! Andrea & Marta Room Tip: Maison Ulysse is a must-to-try!"Villa Song Saigon: "Absolutely charming hotel"
"A haven at the edge of the Saigon River. A beautiful, peaceful spot to chill out after a hot session of sightseeing. Chef Kevin, always eager to please with innovative Western based menus liberally sprinkled with South East Asian herbs and spices, great. Restaurant and hotel staff greeting us with their gentleness and smiling faces all the time. I can only highly recommend Villa Song "The Hue House: "Wonderful food with stunning ambience"
Perched high on a rooftop in Central Ho Chi Minh City, this restaurant oozes style and matches it with visually stunning and tasty food. It may be a little difficult to find, for some, but its worth finding. Varied menu to cater for all tastes.Locavore: "Perfection!"
"Had the 7 Course tasting menu and it was incredible. The atmosphere and service was friendly and attentive. Even before the first course came in we were served seven or eight amuse bouche, all gorgeous in look and taste. We had the drink pairing wich is a stroke of genius when you compare to the traditional wine pairing. The whole menu was exciting from start to finish and I dare say it was amongst the best dining excperiences I've ever had. Unfortunately I live on the other side of the world, otherwise I would be back again soon."Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "A beautiful place run by beautiful people"
"Seadance Resort manages that very special skill of enhancing a naturally beautiful area with its presence. The layout of the resort takes full advantage of the tropical greenery both inside and outside the buildings and whilst the grounds are well tended it is not manicured and artificial but a natural infinity and flow that brings you down to the ocean's edge. When you meet Poy who established Sea Dance it all makes sense. His pride and thoughtfulness shine through and new staff like Faith all add something to this very special place. We stayed for 7 days and our normal style is to explore the area and discover places to eat. The fact we only ate out once is testament to the great food and we ate from the Thai menu exclusively. The breakfasts were great, the coffee good all overlooking the ocean. A dream of a place and a big thank you to all the staff. Stayed February 2017"Slow Villas and Spa: "Paradise within paradise!"
"My 2-night stay at Slow Villas has been EXCEPTIONAL. I was looking to unwind and relax in Gili Air and I couldn't think of a better place to do just that. First of all, I love that it's eco-friendly! From bio-septic tanks to reusable water bottles, they are clear advocates of our environment. The Villas itself is very well-maintained. They provide just the right amount of of comfort and luxury. Every concept of the villas is centered around the guests comfort. The bed is huge and I love that it faces the pool-- perfect for lazy mornings. Our one-bedroom villa is HUGE, which even includes a garden. Although I'm not the type to sunbathe, it was nice to have it to ourselves. The pool is definitely amazing. It's not really a private villa without your private pool, is it. The service is great-- refillable water, fruits in your villa, breakfast at your own privacy, wifi, and a cable tv. They even add a little touch by providing a USB with movies just incase the cable is down. Simply amazing. Everything is top notch! Location wise, it's definitely on the isolated corner of the island, but it's perfect for couples like us who were were looking for pure tranquility. They truly lived up to their name. The instant I entered Slow, it was as if time froze and the rest of the world drifted away! Thank you Slow for a phenomenal experience!"Inle Princess Resort: "Amazing hotel."
"Stayed at Inle princess for 2 nights on a family holiday to Burma. We had 3 rooms in total and unfortunately we didn't get the front river rooms but even the standard rooms are quite unique and special in their design and construction. It was cold in the month of February especially in the evenings and night but the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The bathroom got much colder but it was manageable. We travelled by boat throughout our two days in inle- which was also an amazing experience. Service at the hotel was excellent. We usually ate our lunches in the market, but had all the dinners in the hotel itself as it's not possible to travel out at night. Every avocado dish was outstanding. We also got a 60 mins couple massage at the hotel which was ok. Disappointed that they didn't have the option to take a steam included with the message as this was priced separately and the amenities/ facilities didn't seem worth the extra cost. Overall a great stay, beautiful hotel, highly recommend!"
