Maduzi Hotel: "Return to Maduzi"
"I had twice before stayed at Maduzi although some years before and found each stay most excellent. This stay, with friends, was also exceptional. Maduzi is located in downtown Bangkok right near the Skyway and a short walk to Centre Point shopping mall; the Paragon complex is but four Skyway stops away. Breakfast is included, and the choices are unique; I cannot understand anyone finding fault with the variety or quality offered, and breakfast was a pleasure. Maduzi is a truly unique (yep, that word can be used again and again), boutique hotel, a retreat in downtown Bangkok in beautiful surroundings and rooms with service that can satisfy almost all. My wife and friends thoroughly enjoyed their stay as I did. Room Tip: Upper floors are probably best because the roar of Bangkok traffic almost defied sound-proofing."Rachamankha: "A little oasis"
Did not know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Such a little oasis in the middle of town. Cleverly renovated with lots of small touches that makes it stand out from the rest. Service was impeccable, specially in the restaurant. We totally loved our stay here. It quiet and very "zen" like, whatever that is, it's perfect!Maduzi Hotel: "Perfect place"
A great summary of what you can expect in Bangkok - great place, wonderful people! Further the location also couldn't be better if looking for getting easily around in Bangkok. Overall perfect stay and for sure I will come back in due course.Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "my favourite place to stay in Bangkok"
"from the moment we walked in the door.....we fell in love with this place.....we can not recommend it highly enough! if you want something special, tucked away, unexpected with the most divine attentive staff.....this is it! we will only stay in this gorgeous hotel whenever we choose to visit this city. a very very special place indeed! the attention to detail, the drinks and cocktail choices are just perfect and the rooms to enjoy them in....are so so beautiful. a thai restaurant too with delicious food, a swimming pool, everything is here. all I can say is, we just don't want to leave.....its the perfect get away in a busy bustling city that can be very overwhelming. The Cabachon is an oasis with styling perfection. thank you for having us!"Tugu Bali: "The most beautiful hotel in the world"
"I've been so lucky in my life to have stayed in many beautiful hotels, but this is by far my favourite and the most beautiful hotel in the world! The hotel feels so authentic - it's beautifully rustic but still luxurious. The staff are so so friendly, but still very polite and professional - I never once felt as though they were invading my personal space. The food at this hotel is pretty much my benchmark for amazing food - loved every single dish I tried at Tugu. Also loved their relaxed attitude to dining - they would do private dining for us which we could have in the room, on the beach, on the lawn, in the private rooms... pretty much where ever we wanted, it was so lovely. Tugu has so much charm - my husband and I felt totally at home hear and can't wait to go back... someday!"The Island Lodge: "Fabulous"
Stayed for 3 nights. Beautiful relaxing place to stay. Service excellent and very attentive. Would highly recommend. Good value. More 5 star than three. Arranged transfers direct with them. All worked very well.Sea Dance Resort: "Outstanding service, gorgeous resort."
"We have just spent 7 nights at the magical Seadance Resort and it was superb. We originally booked for 3 nights and fell in love with the place, so we decided to stay for longer. Even after a week, we didn't want to leave. A huge thank you to Poy, the lovely owner, Faith, Helen, Guy and all of the wonderful staff at Seadance for making our last week in Thailand so special. The staff are incredible, so helpful, so friendly and they are what truly makes this Resort stand out from anywhere else we have ever stayed. The accomodation is fantastic, we were lucky enough to stay in Villa 5. The views were beautiful and it was so private and peaceful. Seasalt Restaurant at Seadance is incredible, the food is first class, with a huge choice of Thai and western cuisines. The cocktail list is very extensive and they sure know how to make them. They also have a very impressive array of high quality gin, and thanks to Poy, we are now converts. The breakfast was really yummy, a perfect amount to choose from and they make the best cappuccinos we had in Thailand. The resort is only a 10 minute drive away from busy Chaweng beach, if you feel the need for nightlife and crowds. The big Buddha pier is only a short drive away and a 30 minute boat ride to Ko Phangan. We highly recommend Seadance and we can't wait to return. Thank you again to the beautiful staff, you guys are awesome!!"Maduzi Hotel: "Excellent service and hotel"
"We loved this hotel and was very, very delighted when we checked it. We found out that this hotel does not take walk ins and that made it all sweeter. Our room was spacious and the super king bed was fantastic. I was ill on the day of arrival but sleeping and resting on that bed made me feel better. Room service food was also excellent! Asok station is walking distance (10mins) and so is FoodLand, a 24 hour supermarket and food court! Awesome! We booked ala carte breakfast, food was good but wished the portion was a little bigger with more choices to choose from and well as more options of greens and breads. And really wished there was a pool too."David’s Kitchen: "Best food and service!"
I would say this restaurant is the best restaurant that I ever had. I had a high expectation before I go because TripAdvisor award it as one of the best fine dining restaurant in the world. It ended up even exceed my expectation. I like every dishes that we ordered. All the waiters and waitress had very high standard of service. I will definitely come back again if I visit Chiang Mai again! And I would highly recommend my friends to go if they visit chiang Mai.Supanniga Cruise: "Supanniga Evening Champagne Cruise"
We had a chance to try out the new Supanniga sunset cruise with my sister and her fiancee who were visiting us. Compared to many of the other river cruises, the experience was much more intimate with a small boat that was not in the least crowded for the 1-hour sunset cruise on a Sunday. Very comfortable and nice scenery, and the glass of champagne offered was very good! The sunset cruise includes no food beyond a few nibbles (think peanuts and dried shrimp), but the service was great and the menu for the later dinner cruise looked very appetising as well. Recommended for a special event or a less touristy cruise option for visitors!
