All of the dishes were delicious. The fried beef jerky with kaffir leaves was very interesting and addictive. The masaman curry and another red curry also both excellent. "We stayed a couple of nights at this hotel and it is really special. Right on the Saigon River and in District 2 of Ho Chin Minh. The service was really good and the location is perfect. You can catch the hotel boat shuttle directly to the main district 1 if required. The area around the hotel is quiet and we found some really nice restaurants. "This was easily ranked one of, if not, the best meals we've had in Bali. The property sits on a beautiful idyllic garden surrounded by coconut trees. It has an open concept kitchen and I diners sat by the kitchen counter. Service was excellent, in fact, more than excellent. So much attention to details without being intrusive. Food was an explosion of Flavours. I'm not going to list what we ate but everything we had was amazing. It's the first time I went to a restaurant and not take pics of the food as pics will not justify the experience. Like it says in the menu, come with an open mind and an empty stomach! This place is so mach beautiful!!!!!! Though we haven't much time to look these view, but I'm pretty sure that I will choosing here to stay if I come to Malaysia next time. And their room services are very nice, you can find some drinks in the refrigerator of the room. Also you can eat some cookies, nyonya cake which on the desk of your room. All for free, don't worry. And when you wake up at morning, you can eat the best breakfast with the best view. We chose Wow Borneo because they had the safest looking boats for our small children whilst having competetive prices. We had the boat to ourselves and a lovely crew. The food included some of the best local dishes we've had in Indonesia in 2+ years. Our guide, Faisal, knew his stuff and was great with the kids. We woke on both mornings to see large male orang utans hanging in trees yards from our boat. We saw probiscus monkeys, endangered Storm's storks, gibbons,macaques and crocs too. A fantastic trip. Don't often write a review BUT this resort deserves a really good report. It is elegant tastefully decorated gardens are delightful and restaurant excellent. Best hotel we have stayed in ever . Very French /Asian in style and it just works so well. Staff were wonderful to us and we were in the least expensive rooms. Shuttle to town when ever we wished and pick up at our convenience.
