Villa Song Saigon: "Perfection"
"This hotel is wonderful. You may hesitate to stay somewhere a bit outside of the main HCMC hustle and bustle, but once you're here you won't regret the decision. I didn't care much for HCMC, so after a few hours down there, it was nice to escape across the river (like fleeing back to the CT suburbs after an afternoon in NYC). Breakfast is fabulous and served to you riverside - full menu of choices. There are pretty regular boat shuttles into HCMC but if you don't want to wait for one or miss one, a cab ride is like $7 USD (which, if you can afford to stay here...shouldn't really be an issue). Beds are comfortable. Turndown service included yummy pastry - cream puffs, madeleines. Because it's a small hotel, the pool is quiet and never crowded. They also exchange cash at spot! Would return. Stayed March 2017, traveled with friends"Flower Island: "Stunning, paradise, Robinson Crusoe Island"
"For us this place was perfect. Absolute heaven. Its secluded, quiet, relaxing etc what more can you want? The resort is sympathetic to the environment and the staff are unobtrusive and get on with their job. I say this because I think you need to be aware of these things before booking. Because this is remote I don't think you should expect; Ultra high speed wifi, staff attending to your every need waiting on you hand on foot, luxury Egyptian cotton, etc.. This isn't that kind of place. If you want that go and find a faceless, corporate resort. Instead, check in, turn off your phone, put your swimming trunks on and relax..... The staff were super friendly, and I loved their level of service, approachable, friendly, nice etc... Not uptight in any way. (...) I liked the food, always a good variety - 5-6 pots from which you could help yourself and always plenty of it. Really enjoyed the Pearl Farm, trip a wander around the island and Amber the dog rocks !!!! (and i don't like dogs!!)"Maison Polanka: "Natural luxury"
I recently stayed at Maison Polanka, it was such a welcome change and surprise to what I am used to staying; This Resort really is your home away from home; the staff welcome you like family, the intimacy of this place really has such a warm charm that makes you feel immediately at home; The team headed by General Manager Cathy, were exceptional, they were so attentive, friendly and could do enough to make our stay most memorable; I stayed in the Green room, which had an amazing balcony overlooking the beautiful gardens and the perfect retreat to relax, read a book with a gin & Tonic. They made all the arrangements for a private guide to Angkor Wat, where we went for the Sunrise, what a Magical experience, followed by a picnic on the river bank; this truly was one of the most remarkable experiences I have ever had. If you are looking for a relaxing, cosy place to stay I highly recommend Maison Polanka.Slow Villas and Spa: "The BEST place in Gili Air"
Slow is simply the BEST place to stay in Gili Air. Effortlessly chic it is a paradise to go back to at the end of your dives or beach activity. Julie knows absolutely everything there is to know about the gilis and is there to help. The villas have their own private plunge pools, garden, kitchenette and a great bed: the perfect recipe for success. The spa is amazing. A bit of heaven on earth.Rachamankha: "The definition of perfection"
This hotel was a sight in itself. It was absolutely stunning, the service was fantastic, and the restaurant's food was some of the best that we had in all of Thailand. We would highly recommend this hotel, and pray to be able to return sometime in the near future.muang la: "Unexpectedly delightful"
The management is superb, each meal delicious, serene location in the countryside and wonderful staff. Also, the massages are special and the hot springs a surprise. We heartily recommend Muang La Resort to all.The Cabochon Hotel: "a charming colonial style hotel off the main drag – perfect"
an ideal location in a busy bustling city ! a perfect antidote to the chaos of bangkok. charming staff, excellent food and a great ambience. The Rooftop pool is excellent, the library well stocked, and the rooms a good size for the price.Satri House: "Amazing"
Couldn’t have loved my stay at Satri House any more than I did!! The grounds and rooms were stunning. The staff members were some of the best I’ve ever encountered. The scent of lemongrass will forever remind me of this special place. We stayed 5 nights and wish we could have stayed longer.Villa Mathis: "Married at La Villa Mathis"
I got married here in 2011. We had checked in late as we had to drop our guests off to another hotel they were staying at. However when we checked in, Bruno had actually called in to see how we were and if we had any question or queries to let him know and he'll be in the following day to meet us (my husband & I). This whole place was amazing! We loved the food and also note that this was our first time to Bali as well. Our room was amazing with alot of room and I loved how we entered and the bath tub was filled with flowers. It did get dark at night as our room was at the bottom and when we would come back from excursions, we would have a guard walk us back to our room but after a night or two we were confident to go on our own. The night before our wedding, I had asked if the ladies from our wedding guests could stay the night and the staff organised rooms quickly for them. Our wedding day, Bruno's wife (sorry I forgot your name! lovely lady) had met up with me to see how I was feeling and making sure everything was getting organised as planned. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our first time to Bali and to have our wedding here was amazing! I would be coming back here hopefully on our fifth year anniversary! Sorry for the late post but thank you La Villa Mathis.Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Indian Paradise"
"We spent 4 days at neeleshwar hermitage and everything was perfect. The service is amazing with nice and ever smiling staff. The beach restaurant is incredible: picture a few table scattered below coconut trees and looking out on the Indian ocean. Food is fresh, delicate and flavourful. Special mention for the breakfast that combines all the above. Difficult to imagine what could be improved!"
