4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "A wonderful experience filled with lessons"
"The scenic view of the forest along the riverbank, the serenity of the untamed Koh Kong wilderness, and the natural beauty that surrounds 4 Rivers is what makes this place a paradise hidden in the wild. My visit to 4 Rivers was for our school trip, and it was also my first time going to Koh Kong. As a city girl, the hustle and bustle of the city is what I'm used to and, frankly speaking, it's also what I'm tired of. This trip was my opportunity to get faraway from my urban surroundings for a while, so jumping onto that opportunity is what I did. What ensued was a three-day trip full of tranquility, exhilaration, and adventure. For however long it lasted, the trip to 4 Rivers was an unforgettable experience. We were taken care of very well; in the sense of what precautions to take during our stay at a resort located in primitive areas. The food there is also very well prepared, and is very delicious. The staff was very friendly, and would always try to check in with us to see how we're doing. In addition, 4 Rivers not only helps to protect the environment, but are also supportive of the local community's lifestyle. They provide jobs for the Tatai villagers, and seek help in anyway they can for the local residences. During my stay there, I got to meet people who are not only dedicated to what they do, but are also firm in their determination and beliefs in their work. They were very generous yet outgoing, and that made me feel right at home. The staff at 4 Rivers are people who has a level head on their shoulders, yet their wild spirit welcomes all. To me, 4 Rivers is like a home away from civilization, where everyone is welcomed and accepted, no matter what. It's a place where passion resides, where hardwork blossoms, where integrity ripens."Muang La Lodge: "A real heaven to explore Laos North East unspoiled life"

"Loved basically everything about this hotel. The room was luxurious. Bed was big and soft, the bathtub was large enough, the room itself was the right size, and everything on that end was great. Amenities were also wonderful. There was a tasty fruit basket in my room when I arrived, there was a complimentary tea service which was extraordinary, live music (a local band) played in the evening and was excellent to listen to, and more. My favorite amenity was the tour of the hotel's extensive artifact collection; it was fascinating to see all the different sculptures, paintings, and architectural details. The food was good. I particularly enjoyed the grilled satay (both chicken and lamb) and the extensive breakfast spreads. The complimentary pastries upon checking out were also great. The grounds themselves, including the pool, were very nice. My only complaint was flaky and slow wifi. But otherwise, my stay was absolutely perfect. Would definitely stay again. Stayed March 2017, traveled solo"Tugu Bali: "Amazing service"
"We have chosen this hotel to start our 10 days Bali tour moving from West, to Ubud and ending by Candidasa. Fantastic boutique hotel, wooden construction and local spirit. Everything is warm and easy. In a private garden, you may choose pool house or ""Rejang Suite"" (such as we did). Food and service are just great. Our only one unhappiness was the environment, with a dirty beach (we'be been told that it is normal during this period). But what an amazing sunset !!! Some local shops (cloths and vegan restaurant) are only 15mn by walk or 2-5mn by scooter. We shall definitely return during our next trip. Enjoy "Manda De Laos: "Amazing restaurant"
This is the most beautiful restaurant that we've been. Very nice set up with a beautiful garden. Relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The food is so delicious and tasty with traditional flavor.Rachamankha: "Beautifully Antique hotel with friendly services"
We enjoyed the antique furnitures and room, brilliant breakfast and excellent services. The room was tidied few times a day and we got welcome drinks and no insects wander in the room. Definitely recommendedCabochon Hotel & Residence: "my kwerky home in Bangkok"
Two families one with 5 people and the other with 4 people stayed in the 3 and 2 bed apartments for 3 nights.Definitely the best option for families and the 3 bed apartment had lots of sitting space in. The rooftop pool was long enough for serious lap swimming and very welcome after a hot and muggy day. Unfortunately the hot water system had broken down for the apartments and amazingly we were offered to move into another 3 bed apartment - found later that the owner used this for personal use as an overflow to his own apartment. We were entertaining some other friends the first evening , so had them cover over to us for drinks and we went downstairs to the restaurant for dinner and had our own private dining area.It seemed the restaurant is quite popular with many people from outside coming to eat here. The owner has collected all sorts of objects and paraphernalia which created the "kwerky"decor . The barman made some very good cocktails and his twist on G&T was awesome! It seemed that the whole place was run with only 4 to 5 staff who were jack of all from manning the front, to taking orders in the bar or the restaurant, offering room service and also acting as concierge - our Marigold in Bangkok!Satri House: "Perfection"
"We loved this small hotel only a ten minute walk in to town to reach the start of the night market. It is full of wonderful artefacts and curios and lovely nooks with comfy seating to curl up with a book. The junior suite we occupied was wonderful with a fabulous shower and bath and separate w.c.. The two swimming pools were lovely each with its own character. Sweet and comfy bar available and we thought the restaurant was good although we mostly ate in town. Delicious breakfasts. Charming service. The hotel was very helpful organising reservations in local restaurants too. Could have stayed much longer and definitely will return to this haven if we come back to Laos."Sandat Glamping Tents: "Fantastisches Hotel, tolles Design, super Service"
Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert."Villa Song Saigon: "Great location, fantastic food"
Extremely well run hotel, the staff are outstanding. The riverside location is peaceful and stunning. Shuttle or boat to town if you want the bustle. Restaurant is good, but could do with less European dishes and more Vietnamese dishes. Breakfast is excellent, have the Pho.
