Cuca: "Deserves 2 Michelin stars – Outstanding"
"We had a fantastic culinary experience at Cuca. The flavours, textures, aromas and presentation were an impressive mix. The staff were very atentative and their product knowledge was amazing. We sat at the bar watching the Chefs work which brought back memories for me. We liked how different people brought us our dishes - Chefs and our waitress, who explained what we were about to enjoy. As recommended we choose 6 tapas style dishes which was just enough for both of us to feel full and not left hungry. The choice is well balanced and it was difficult to choose which 6 dishes to enjoy, saying that we couldn't resist trying 2 of their desserts too!! We don't normally take dessert but on this occasion we really enjoyed the Bali breakfast and their ice cream dish with 98% coco mass organic chocolate ganash just made for them. Their brigade is headed up by an energetic Canadian Chef called Kevin Cherkas who I would pair with Heston Blumenthal using modern techniques to improve your culinary experience. So we liked it so much we are going to return to enjoy a different 6 dishes and another culinary journey at Cuca. "David’s Kitchen: "Dining Does Not Get Better Than At David’s Kitchen"
"Dining is not just eating food - it is an experience that should involve delicious food/drinks, gracious hospitality, a pleasing ambiance and the generation of plenty of memories to smile back on for years to come. My girlfriend and I had the dining experience of a lifetime last night at the new location of David's Kitchen - and this experience afforded us all of those things that I mentioned above at an unparalleled level! I had the very best tuna dish that I have ever had - highly recommended for if/when you make the brilliant decision to try David's Kitchen yourself. David was strolling around the very pleasant dining area while we ate and he spoke to us on a few different occasions as we enjoyed our meal. He is a very kind and interesting man that brings wonderful conversation to the table - pun intended. I had the pleasure of expressing my love for the tuna dish and he was gracious enough to invite us back into his kitchen to meet the head chef and the rest of the kitchen staff - this just took what was already an incredible evening to the kind of experience that my girlfriend and I will look back on for decades with nothing but smiles! And, to top it all off, the dining room manager brought my girlfriend a beautiful rose as we were walking into the parking lot to our taxi. It was like the evening couldn't stop getting better! So, there you have it. Some of the best food we have ever eaten. Certainly the best hospitality we have ever experienced at a restaurant. An ambiance that promotes a delightful meal. And memories that I will now have to cherish for the rest of my life. David's Kitchen provides the epitome of what dining should be. And, not to forget, at an EXTREMELY reasonable price! Nothing short of incredible. If you are EVER in Thailand - please, please do yourself and your traveling mates a huge favor and find time to make it into David's Kitchen! On my word - you will absolutely not regret it. Cheers!"The Apsara Rive Droite: "Tweede bezoek weer top"
"Waarom alle toeristen naarde buren gaan is ons een raadsel. Wij hebben onze vakantieregel gebroken (nooit 2x naar zelfde resto) met goede afloop. Weer heerlijk gegeten, lekkere amuse, gezellige bediening en top setting tafel aan de rivier. go !!!! Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Amazing food"
"Our friends booked this restaurant a few months ago for us And it was excellent there were two tasting menus & we love good Resturants & this did not disappoint it should have a Michelin star & if it was any where else it would have Service was first class as was the food If your visiting semi reap book in advance it's a must"Inle Princess Resort: "Wonderfully relaxing"
We felt at home as soon as we arrived at this lovely resort. We had a lake view chalet close to the boat dock but there was no noise disturbance as boats are not allowed to use power engines when approaching the resort. The room was spacious and had everything that we needed. We loved sitting out on the verandah and taking in the lovely views. The resort handicraft centre is great if you want to try your hand at pottery, Shan paper making, weaving or a range of other handicrafts. The food is very good and the service excellent.Tugu Malang: "Wonderful stay in a slightly eccentric hotel"
"What an experience!! This hotel was perfect, get the best room you can afford - it is so worth it. The hotel is an attraction in its own right, make sure you take the tour to see the VIP suites and function rooms., the bizarre collection of furniture and nick nacks courtesy of the owners. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and all of the trips we took originated from their suggestions and with their help. The piece de resistance is the full day tour to Mt Bromo with waterfall included, organised and accompanied by front desk staff (amazing). Malang itself is a wonderful indonesian city with first rate coffee shops, a great bird market and some lovely streets to walk down. PS(the free afternoon tea is a must)"Cuca: "Fantastic"
Went to Cuca for dinner on my wife's birthday few days ago. Food, drinks, service were just amazing. Place is not cheap, but everything was soooooooo good. Worth its money to every cent spent. Absolutely,Mie Cafe: "Excellent food and service"
Excellent food and service in this small cambodian restaurant. Second best in Siem Reap after the Cuisine Wat Damnak. The food is very good with fresh ingredients and the atmophere great, open kitchen, New York style. Reservations needed. Very close ( walking distance) to the Sofitel hotel. Portion are normal by european standards. The Cabochon Hotel: "Excellent"
Love this hotel. I had My Valentine at this hotel. Great service , friendly staff. Big swimming pool, Very intimitet place. Travel back to 1920 en enjoy. When You walk away from the hotel youre back in the crazy city Bamgkok .The Samar: "Beautiful relaxing hotel near Ankor Wat"
"we have just returned from Cambodia 29 April. Stayed at the Samar Villas for 8nights We were upgraded to our own villa (amazing) as it was my husbands birthday whilst there. The hotel is very close to Ankor Wat so wonderful if your up early. It is very peaceful and calm. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times which I would recommend, Bertrand the owner of the hotel gave us wonderful restaurant recommendations as well. All of the staff were so warm and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. It's about a 8-10 min tuk tuk ride into siem reap town, we had the same tuk tuk driver whilst there who was just charming. The hotel arrant a English speaking guide for us who was wonderful he knew the answer to every question we asked him (many!!) I had a massage whilst there wish was truly relaxing. If you are visiting Siem Reap this is the place to stay, just out of the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap, but close enough to get out and about."
