CABOCHON HOTEL & RESIDENCE: "Bangkok’s Finest Boutique Hotel"

Review by: AndyBoyForever | Source: tripadvisor.com
Every time I visit Bangkok, Cabochon is my accommodation choice. In fact, I've stayed there five times. And each time, the experience was better than the last. I love the old world charm, chic colonial decor, delicious breakfast, and warm and sincere service. Its restaurant Thai Lao Yeh serves good Isan inspired cuisine. The shaved ice desserts are to diet for. The location is convenient, just 10 mins walk to Bangkok's newest mall EMQuartier. The very hip Sing Sing Theatre is a stone's throw away. Cabochon is a must stay if you love original non-cookie cutter hotels. I'll definitely be back!

Tugu Lombok: "Exquisite"

Review by: David M | Source: Trip Advisor
"My wife and I had the pleasure of staying with the Tugu ‘family’ for 9 days - oh how we wished we could stay for much longer! From arriving Henry (one of the 2 managers) was possibly the most welcoming person in Indonesia. We arrived late due to a delayed flight (just after 10pm), he could see we were exhausted so gave us a very quick tour and took us straight to our room and said we can deal with the paper work for the check in in the morning. He also had the kitchen whip us up some sandwiches which I thought was extremely thoughtful. Rooms/Villa - each are decorated sympathetically in Indonesian/Lombok styles with pieces of furniture of the highest quality, from the living area/ bedroom, bathroom and garden to the restaurant and bar - everything. Food - whether you want to experience typical Indonesian food or prefer something more western, Tugu caters for everyone. I’d recommend for breakfast to try the Burbur Ketan Hetam, delicious. Alongside Henry, Ellie is the other manager who is equally as warm and welcoming. I can’t single out all the other superb staff, but ones I can remember are Russwal and Eka. Hopefully my wife and I can visit again one day in the not too distant future. Thanks again to all of the team at Tugu for making our stay a once in a lifetime."

David’s Kitchen: "Wonderful food and service"

All the reviews say it all. If you are visiting Chiang Mai and your budget allows this restaurant is a must. Prices are about the same as a good restaurant in the UK. Food is exceptional, very large choice to suit all palettes. Great wine list. The service is very attentive nice touch is that David greets dinners. Wonderful experience.

Anopura: "Absolute gem, far from the madding crowd!"

"Fabulously stylish place in the countryside outside of Jaipur. The staff were wonderful and felt like we were in our own private home. Dinner was delicious and was served candlelit in the pool house overlooking the beautiful pool and gardens. But shush don't tell anyone or it may be fully booked next time we want to go!"

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Top Class Place to Stay"

Stunning hotel. Nothing is too much trouble. Beautifully clean, wonderful food. If you have a bird watching tour ask for Hari, he's an expert and a wonderful guide. We stayed in room 13 which was the lodge Princess Anne stayed in when she visited and we loved it.

Rachamankha: "Exceptional hotel with a great restaurant"

Review by: Julia H | Source: Trip Advisor
We have stayed at the hotel for a few nights while visiting Chiang Mai. Location is great and within walking distance (15min) to many attractions that the city has to offer. Room was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities you needed except they don't give you conditioner so bring your own. I would highly recommend eating at the restaurant, we had snacks and dinner and the food and service were great. Would definitely stay again.

David’s Kitchen: "Excellent food, service and atmosphere."

I was visiting Chiang Mai for a short weekend and read about this restaurant online. Reservations were made easily online and followed up by email. The restaurant was easy to find but location change across the river. The restaurant is beautiful inside with a very cozy atmosphere. There was a live piano during my dinner, which was nice. David personally came and greeted every table. He stayed by my table for a bit because I was alone and made me feel at home. The food was exquisite. I had a raw salmon appetizer, lobster bisque, and lamb chops - all of which I would recommend. David suggested a restaurant for lunch the following day and sent me a very detailed and warm thank you email the following morning. Thank you David!

Maduzi Hotel: "Spacious & wonderful hotel in e midst of a busy city"

Review by: I_S_B_L_o | Source: Trip Advisor
This hotel room is huge beyond imagination. I had a free upgrade to corner suite. The mini bar was free. There was a huge bath tub with the water coming down from the ceiling. The width of the bed was about 2 meters and it was super comfortable and soft. Service was great and efficient. Furniture is a little damaged here and there but it is negligible. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Inle Princess Resort: "A little piece of heaven"

Fantastic experience - rooms, location and staff. Many sightseeing and cultural experiences right at the door. Spent three nights at this hidden gem. Resort set around the lake and an internal lagoon. Tropical paradise.

Nimmu House: "Beautiful hotel with friendly staff"

Review by: Bart v | Source: Trip Advisor
"The best place I have stayed in India in 4 months! The hotel is situated about 40 minutes from Leh and represents the nature of the area very well, while accommodating tourists in pleasant comfort. This means that it is very stylish designed, both modern and authentic. Also the place is surrounded by local people and even cows. The rooms came with all comfort and you can see that the staff puts in some extra effort to make it super comfortable. Food cooked is very special and delicious. There is plenty to discover in the surrounding area."
