Tugu Lombok: "Amazing Family retreat"

Review by: MrAndMrsLim | Source: Trip Advisor
"We had the pleasure of visiting Tugu Lombok in December with our 17 month old. It was such an easy place to stay with a toddler - beautiful beach out front, two very quiet pools, grass throughout the resort, daybeds (as well as high chairs) in the restaurant, and amazing staff that our baby adored. the resort is spread over enough of an area that if our little girl was in a boisterous mood we could take her to burn off her energy somewhere out of the way of other guests. We enjoyed breakfast on the resort dragon boat to watch the sunrise, and a horse and cart ride through local villages to watch the sun set. My husband snorkelled out the front of the resort while my daughter and i played on the beach and my daughter learned to moo from the cows next door!. The breakfasts were amazing, architecture and decoration really gorgeous and experiences on offer really interesting. Although it was perfect for a family with a toddler, we'd have enjoyed it even more if travelling as a couple as we'd have been able to do so much more! We visited the groups restaurant in Jakarta as well, based on how good our experience was at this resort. We look forward to visiting more of their properties when next in Indonesia and couldn't recommend them more highly to anyone."

Arumdalu: "Incredible Private Resort on Beautiful Belitung Island!"

Review by: Kathy M | Source: tripadvisor.com
"My husband and I enjoyed five fantastic nights at Arumdalu Private Resort. We were actually the only guests at the time, so our visit was indeed private! William greeted us at the airport, and took excellent care of us at the resort. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Mr. Agus and Ms. Siannie, along with their son, Albert, and daughter, Caroline, and they were extremely kind and welcoming. Our chefs, Tonny and Anton, prepared delicious Indonesian dishes that were served by Dana, Angie, Cha Cha, and other wonderful staff at the beautiful Sahang Beachfront Cafe and Resto. A wonderful young man, Sue Wep, taught us how to make our own batiks, which was a new and enlightening experience. Our driver, Mr. Insani, was very competent. Lovely Meela, at reception, was very welcoming. We enjoyed a day trip with William and Mr. Insani around the island, enjoying excellent coffee, delicious lunch, and spectacular scenery. Upon leaving the resort, we were presented with a fabulous gift of a beautiful batik and a collection of post cards of the resort. It was an excellent vacation on a remote Indonesian island, accessible by a one-hour flight from Jakarta. "

Reverie Siam Pai: "Best hotel in Pai"

Review by: Kyle G | Source: Trip Advisor
This place is clearly a cut above the other options in Pai. You have all the creature comforts of a boutique resort hotel with an excellent restaurant, all within a short walk or golf cart ride to the Pai night market and other draws. Enjoy this wonderful backpacker town while also coming home to a comfortable bed and peace and quiet!

tugu bali: "Amazing holiday at beautiful hotel"

Review by: Matt P | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Had a great week at Tugu over Christmas with family. The hotel is decorated with Balinese furniture and art, including in the rooms. Food was very good; nice choice at both the restaurant and for in-room dining. Rooms were first-class; we had a villa with private pool and it felt incredibly private. Service from the hotel staff was also excellent with great attention to make our stay very relaxing; all our needs were met including those from our impatient 5 yr old. Would definitely stay there again if we head down to Bali."

Manda De Laos: "Beautiful in the evening"

Review by: Sander N | Source: Trip Advisor
We were lucky enough there was a table for two. Food was good and the atmosphere was super strong with the beautiful pond and flowers at the centre. Also the staff were on point and took good care of us!

Rahai’i Pangun: "Fantastic four days up the river in Tanjung Puting"

Review by: Robert R | Source: Trip Advisor
"What else can I say that others haven't already said? WOW Borneo does an amazing job making sure your visit to Tanjung Puting will be one of your most memorable experiences ever. From the amazing, spacious Klotok boat, to the tasty and abundant food, to the little things like passing out a cool wash cloth when you return from shore, these guys are really and truly committed to their work. One really nice example: at the start of the trip we changed our plans to spend more nights on the boat rather than stay for a night at Rimba Lodge. Our friends at WOW handled the change gracefully and promptly wired back the funds I had pre-paid for the hotel. My only wish, and it's small, was to get more local historical and cultural insight (in English) from our guide, Pretty - who to be fair is relatively new on the job. Despite this I always knew our needs would be foreseen and met, and I know my companions came away from our rainforest encounter with a profound send of new awareness and inspiration."

Inle Princess Resort: "A Magical Location"

Review by: Gordon25_11 | Source: Trip Advisor
This hotel is on Lake Inle and the arrival by lake boat with the traditional leg rower is truly unforgettable. Our room was right on the lakeside with a verandah with easy chairs and loungers. The wildlife comes to you. The staff were brilliant, even managing breakfast at 5 in the morning on two occasions. Restaurant was spacious with very attentive staff. There was the option of eating outside on the verandah. Lanterns, torches and mosquito repellent were provided. Nothing was too much trouble.

Les Maisons d’Itac: "Absolutely Amazing"

Review by: kmgk | Source: Trip Advisor
It's no wonder that this resort is listed in Secret Retreats www.secret-retreats.com - probably one of the best resorts in the South Western part of Cebu Island, what a find! The resort only has 5 accommodation types from houses to studio types. Very modern, staff excellent, manager amazing, food fantastic - I can say all wonderful things about Les Maison d'Itac! Plus, it is absolutely child friendly, the pool is located in a safe distance and the beach is only 2steps down, we were never worried having kids around. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visit Cebu! I will definiely return in the future.

MesaStila: "A Mountainous Trip to Paradise"

Review by: Meg G | Source: tripadvisor.com
"MesaStila is a hidden gem, the grounds are incredible and exceeded all our exceptions, The staff were willing to help us at every turn. This is a must of those looking to get away from it all, explore the grounds, enjoy many activities available, relax by the pool. Hire a guide and head to a waterfall where you will walk thru villages and experience central java at its best. This property is a must - its perfect for stopping and remembering how calm life can be without the hassle and bustle. I urge everyone to go here. Just note if you are travelling in a large group as we were (8A 9C) pre order lunches and dinners as it can take a while to get your meal. "

Rachamankha: "Wonderful stay in this unique and beautiful hidden gem of a hotel!"

Review by: 27_Bear | Source: Trip Advisor
"We arrived at Chiang Mai airport really early after a very long journey. We were collected by the hotel staff at the airport and swiftly driven to the hotel. We were given an early check in, which was a lovely gesture, especially after such a long journey! We had booked a deluxe room, which comes with a lovely four poster bed. The room is beautifully decorated, has wifi and air conditioning and all the amenities you might require. Very comfortable bed and a quiet part of Chiang Mai. The hotel is very beautiful and based on the old Lana style of architecture, it consists of a series of interlinking courtyards, the whole hotel is very quiet and peaceful and a wonderful retreat away from it all. It really feels like you are stepping back in time when you stay at this hotel. Breakfast at the hotel is very nice, staff prepare you freshly pressed fruit juice, there is a nice menu with a good variety of eggs, pancakes, waffles and omelettes. The restaurant has an indoor portion and a beautiful peaceful outdoor courtyard, you can chose to sit in either of these areas. We had dinner here on one evening and the food was very good. The swimming pool is beautiful and very peaceful, you don't really hear the hustle and bustle of the city and you'd almost forget that your in Chiang Mai! Staff are wonderfully helpful, kind and unobtrusive! My only negative comment is that I had a glass of wine and it was a bit overpriced compared to the rest of the prices I experienced in Thailand for wine, in saying that it was a perfectly nice glass of wine and I wouldn't let that put you off. This hotel is a gem of a hotel and I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Chiang Mai!"
