Flower Island: "Tropical Island Paradise"

Review by: Etienne P | Source: Trip Advisor
My wife and I sent several wonderful days at Flower Island Resort. We made the special trip to see the Jewelmer Golden Pearl Farm on our second day. There we were shown how the oysters are propagated and grown. The crew there showed us the process of grafting oysters(where the bead is inserted in to the gonad) as while as the harvesting of the lustrous Golden Pearls. Our room was very comfortable traditional native hut with modern conveniences such as air conditioning and hot running water. We really enjoyed the wide variety of meals especially the pearl meat salad. There is a trail to a tower at the top of the island that gives you a 360 degree view. Another path takes you all the way around the island in about 35 minutes.

Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Must-visit restaurant in Siem Reap for affordable price"

Review by: xiefaliang | Source: Trip Advisor
First of all the location: this restaurant is in a dark and isolated village in Siem Reap, and it might be difficult even for taxis to reach it. Recommend keeping a map with you (or google maps) in order to find it more or less easily or help the taxi driver to do it. Went there right after Christmas and only had to wait a few minutes to get a seat (no booking, but it's better to have one). The restaurant has two floors, so you can dine downstairs indoor or at their al fresco terrace. They offer a tasting menu of 5 or 6 courses for 24 or 28 USD that changes every 10 days, the food is amazing! Their style is French-Cambodian, and the chef will come visit you at your table at the end of the meal to offer a plate of fresh fruit after the dessert. Must note that the restaurant is open only from Tuesday to Saturday, so it will be a pity to go there when it's closed (also because it's a reeeeeally dark street haha). Enjoy!

Misool Eco Resort: "Wow, What an amazing Place"

Review by: Paul F | Source: Trip Advisor
"this is the one place the journey to get there is worth the experience, the resort is spacious and well laid out the rooms are well laid out and the outdoor bathroom/shower while strange for the 1st time soon became normal. the food and the dining area was great, there is beer and wine available but no spirits or bar service, so if you have a favorite tipple then you will need to bring that with you, but food and accommodation aside you are here to dive and you wont be be disappointing, the house reef Jetty dive is probably the best house reef dives in the world, this is only location I am aware of were you can see Reef Mantas and Oceanic Mantas interacting at the same cleaning station, the variety of see life is incredible, Pygmy seahorse, turtles, sharks, Nudi's, corrals, if you can think of it there probably is one there somewhere, we even had whales passing the bay during evening drink times. if you are into photography, you are going to have a few challenges, makro, wide angle, video, the dives are so diverse you need every option available, the other challenge is the sea life is so rich the fish keep getting in the way of your shots... overall this resort is not easy to get to it is at the upper end of the cost market, but is it worth it, yes and Yes my last comment is a bit selfish since I have now had the honor of visiting this region is that we (the traveler) continue to seek out remote untouched places to visit, they then become popular destroying the reason we went there in the first place, the management of the resort and the sanctuary zone is extremely well done, i truly hope it does not bend to more commercial pressures."

CABOCHON: "Excellent. A must stay while in Bangkok"

Review by: TerryMinuit | Source: tripadvison.com
"This hotel is small yet feels luxurious. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need. The staff were a delight - helpful, informative and friendly. The food at breakfast and at dinner was excellent - delicious, adventurous and beautifully presented. The restaurant and breakfast room are a treasure trove of artefacts. The roof top pool is a wonderful touch with views that give you a very good feel for Bangkok. "

The River Resort: "Paradise at the Mekong Riverside!"

Review by: christiechoo | Source: Trip Advisor
This resort located nearby to Mekong River. We took a long tailed boat and go to this resort via river, instead of main road. This is a PARADISE, away from busy city and noise. The rooms are great, with nice interior design, overseen the river. The hotel offers 2 options of breakfast per person per day. It is a very relaxing experience to stay here, with surrounded by paddy field in the hotel garden.

Muang La Lodge: "A stunning gem in a remote location"

Review by: Don A | Source: Trip Advisor
"This unheralded, stunning resort is a great reward for the traveller who is prepared to undertake a relatively long road journey. Though arduous, that journey is not without some great experiences and vistas. Guided trips would be essential to help reveal the highlights along the way. Planning an extra night stay might appeal to those seeking even more pampering after their endeavours. The swimming pool is wonderful. The hot spring baths and massage service offer other opportunities for indulgence. The accommodation is beautiful and well designed. The beds are sumptuous. The river views are majestic. The restaurant provides fantastic meals, particularly the set five course dinner. The variety of tasty ethnic and local dishes each night was unique. Breakfast was excellent and personalized. The provision of gluten free pancakes demonstrated not only skills at improvisation but also determination to ensure guest satisfaction. For me it was a real bonus and very touching. The walk to the nearby village was great but knowing precisely where and how to access the exciting bamboo raft ferry back across the creek is recommended. The service was superb at all levels within the stablishment."

Maduzi Hotel: "Favourite Hotel"

Review by: Pna1988 | Source: Trip Advisor
Their service is always impeccable. They revamped their breakfast menu and it's amazing. Apart from healthy options, they added fancy options like truffle quiche. You must try their freshly baked croissant too... you will not regret it. It is literally the best croissant I've ever had. I've stayed in Maduzi for my last three trips to bkk and I plan to come back for my future trips.

JL Studio: "Artistic cuisine"

Each dish wobble plate, decoration, flavors, both with artistic, aesthetic and both the color, flavor and taste of the food, service personnel and then by commentary and explain the story, so every food, moving and full of praise. JL plus uphold let everything that can make people eat meals together have different levels of taste and delicious food will make people more reluctant to swallow stomach, but slowly and enjoy the taste of which different feelings, well worth to experience and enjoy the incomparable honor

Glenburn Tea Estate: "Relax and enjoy the views"

Review by: Beaks21 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Its a long and winding steep hill that takes you to this idyllic location. The rooms are wonderful and in keeping with the location. The views are stunning and its is a wonderful place to relax, that said don't miss a trip to Darjeeling a fabulous and busy town. I'd take a day to see it. You can also enjoy a massage. I took a walk into the village and it was great to see. Room Tip: Most rooms are great but I'd try and avoid the room off the main lounge."
