This hotel is truly a little gem! We were glad to be close to the city when we chose to go in, but so glad to be able to come back to the peaceful and beautiful grounds of the Villa Song. From the time we checked in until we left, the staff was attentive, professional and very friendly. Excellent customer service! The room/bathroom was spacious, well decorated, spotless and had all the modern amenities. We ate several meals there and in each instance they were very good and the kitchen went out of their way in the presentation of the food. The menu was diverse and wine list comprehensive. A special shout out to Kevin who went out of his way to accommodate our special menu requests plus genuinely take an interest in the guests. "Staying at the mansion was a delight. The room that we stayed in ‘Mandarin’ (and we were lucky to get a free upgrade) was beautiful. I suggest getting that room since it’s the corner suite with a beautiful bathroom. The staff is wonderful and was caring and smiling all the time. The breakfast could be better. But that needs just a little more of care. The toast that came with the meal was dry and cold and the first round of coffees as well. The eggs were just ok. "Located on a beautiful stretch of beach, the Hermitage is perfect for a relaxed stay. The staff is excellent - very courteous, attentive & helpful. Might be the only restaurant in the northeast that has strong gastronomic concept, similar to those with Michelin stars or World’s 50 Best rank. We did their 10 course tasting menu. Every dish was presented in a modern way but used the ingredients that are very sustainable, local ,and mostly can only be found in Isan (Northeast). Even I’m a Thai I was quite surprised that 50% of the vegetables used are those I never heard of. They also focus on “food as a medicine” concept too and they are eager to explain the benefits of each ingredient. A la carte menu is also amazing. Even we were very full we couldn’t resist ordering Crispy Pork with Tamarind Chili Paste...loved it. And don’t forget the dessert...grand finale:)Glenburn Tea Estate: "Dreamlike"

As you bump along a main road for hours to cover what looks like no distance at all on a map, you wonder what possessed anyone to build a resort out there in the sticks. And when you finally get there, have a welcome drink and a guided tour around the place, settled into your bungalow and are blissfully soaking in an outdoor hot tub fed from a natural spring, you realise that this resort is an extraordinary achievement of vision and hard work. It is managed and animated by two young men, who make it all look deceptively easy. Food is outstanding, imaginative and fresh; accommodation is large and comfortable, care is attentive and personal, nothing seems too much. "Stayed here for 4 nights in March 2017. From our pick-up by Tum at Samui airport to drop-off by Poy at the ferry, everything was five star. Poy, Faith, Tum and all the Seadance team are true professionals of the hospitality trade. Seadance has luxurious beachfront villas, amenities are excellent with a great infinity pool which has a swim-up bar. Food here is top class and is very reasonably priced as are drinks. Beautiful and secluded coral beach with real crystal clear water. You should book this resort. I would definitely stay here again. "Everything about our experience was fabulous. We have stayed in some pretty swanky places on this holiday but the food served to us out of a jungle kitchen was the best. The guys were helpful and really fun to be with. We were lucky enough to see a huge male leopard and lots of other amazing animals. We stayed in the luxury air conditioned tent - my best sleep of the holiday. Everything had been thought of. I can not recommend them more highly.
