Maduzi Hotel: "They go the extra mile"

Review by: Laura W | Source: Trip Advisor
"We LOVED our stay here! They truly go the extra mile and we were so impressed! Every little detail of your stay has been clearly thought through and they've considered how to make it better, e.g. you can check in and out at any time!! and you can have your welcome drink at any time! Additionally the Maduzi is in the perfect location, close to the BTS, in the safe Sukhumvit area. This place has everything you need from a hotel, and so much more!"

Reverie Siam: "One of my favourite hotels of all time"

Review by: s4172249 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Stayed three nights in a villa and absolutely loved it. The grounds are beautifully manicured and the entire resort is just so peaceful. The riverside bar is stunning and serene, and the cocktails and wine list are excellent and well priced. The villa was lovely, done in a colonial style with a private outdoor patio, bathroom with glass ceiling and walls and a large jacuzzi, comfortable beds with high quality linen, to and DVD player, and basically anything else you could need. Staff were friendly and efficient. The included breakfast was of a very high standard and you could choose two meals cooked to order each morning. There is a free tuk tuk into town on demand which was useful for going in for the night markets etc. Despite being the most expensive place in town, it is not expensive by western standards and represents very good value. My only suggestions for improvement would be to allow food by the pool, and perhaps to even develop a poolside snack menu, so that people can enjoy some fries or another snack by the pool with their beers and cocktails! Also the food at the restaurant, whilst delicious, often came at different times to my dining partner whilst it should have been served together. These are minor points however and I would recommend this place to anyone, and will undoubtedly return next time I am in Thailand, as I have never found a resort as relaxing and peaceful as this before. Stayed February 2017"

Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Wonderful hotel in Can Tho"

Review by: SteveMLOndon | Source: Trip Advisor
Great hotel with lots of character. We stayed in the Nam Bo Suite which was enormous, comfortable and well equipped. Staff very helpful. We only stayed for one night - but wish it could have been longer.

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "A bucket list adventure"

Review by: sarahwilson1277 | Source: Trip Advisor
My husband and I stayed at Noel Rodrigo's Yala camp for 2 nights with our 2 daughter's aged 5 and 8. We all had a fabulous time! It really was a highlight of our travels around Sri Lanka. The camp site has a modern design, the tents make the experience more like "glamping" but without loosing the rustic and basic appeal. All of the staff were very knowledgable, accomodating and friendly. Our daughter's could freely explore, run and play freely in the Sri Lankan outdoors while my husband and I could read, relax and enjoy a a drink after our exciting Safari expeditions. The chef on our camp was amazing. The food we ate on the camp was colourful, fresh and so delicious. We were lucky enough to experience an abundance of wild life on our safari's including a lengthy leopard sighing. It was truly fantastic! I cannot recommend this experience, the staff and the quality of Noel Rodrigo's Leopard Safaris high enough.

Mathis Retreat: "Stunning"

Review by: Michelle B | Source: Trip Advisor
We only had two nights in Ubud at the end of our two week Bali holiday but I wish we had longer at Kenanga. What a beautiful peaceful hotel. Amazing rooms, helpful staff and such a nice private location. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Glenburn Tea Estate: "Absolutely Fabulous"

Review by: smartie_7 | Source: Trip Advisor
"After travelling around for a few days it was wonderful to arrive at Glenburn to a very warm welcome from Faye, Will and Alex. The bumpy drive down adds to the excitement of your arrival at this beautiful working tea estate. Our room, Planters, was colonial luxury with a huge comfortable bed and a little sitting room off the back with stunning views of kanchenchunga when the clouds lifted. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the group guest dinners were great fun and a chance to make new friends and meet interesting people, although you can dine in private if you wish to do so. Breakfast was also delicious as was the tea and cake served in the afternoons. Snacks are available throughout the day but as the meals are so generous we could not have eaten another thing. A free laundry service was very welcome after our travels and it was great to continue on our trip with clean clothes and after a relaxing massage in the spa. A walk around the plantation is a must as it is not only scenic but informative. We were disapointed not to visit the local school supported by Glenburn but it was holidays for them so maybe next time as I would love to stay at Glenburn again. Room Tip: All rooms are beautiful."

Heritage Suites Hotel: "Very good hotel and service"

Review by: Thamrong Luang M | Source: Trip Advisor
"We were very impressed with the classic Mercedes at moment we walked out of the airport. It was a true classic experience right from the beginning. Very good service and friendly staff at the hotel. Lobby was quite unique. Love the variety of breakfast. Very very good experience. Appreciate the late check out too. "

Slow Villas and Spa: "Heaven on earth"

Review by: mudgeroo | Source: Trip Advisor
Absolute luxury, low key, discreet, perfect. Quiet oasis....wouldn't want this place to be anywhere but hidden away from the mainstream vibes. Those who say location is poor are fools...it's a perfectly hidden gem. Attention to detail here is amazing...even down to the chique dinnerware. Breakfast amazing...people and services fantastic. So peaceful. Come.

Manukan Island Resort: "Excellent service, wonderful view but overpriced food"

Review by: phik | Source: Trip Advisor
"Excellent service. Convenient to reach via Jesselton Point although the numerous boat company counters made the experience a little chaotic. Note that for an additional RM10 per person, the boat company offers return trip. Staff know the various companies very well and will contact them regarding the return trip on the behalf of guests. Upon arrival, we had to pay the conservation fee before we were brought into a small room next to the reception for registration. We booked a beach side villa which is near the two resort-run restaurants, a local cheaper restaurant and the sundry shop (selling water, ice-cream, snacks, etc at a more reasonable price). The private beach for guests is on the other side of the main building. There are beach chairs with umbrellas and hammocks. Internet worked but sometimes the signal was not very strong. Staff served us with complementary drinks and apples in our room on the first day of arrival. Room was very clean. We were lucky as we were told that the beach side villa has just been renovated. So everything was new. We received complimentary mineral waters. Breakfast was included in the cost of the room. International spread with sufficient variety. Dining at the Perahu restaurant was pretty expensive but there were no other choices at night. The selection was rather limited that we got bored pretty fast. Would recommend the burger and the ayam penyet. Room service available at no extra charges but limited food selection and there was a slight price difference for the same meal we could get from the restaurant. Very convenient when it is raining outside. Nice jungle trekking towards the sunset point. Took us about 40 minutes to trek through the forest. We could also take the normal paved road but we decided to be a little bit more adventurous. The path was clear. Torchlight and umbrella were provided in the rooms. Those were very useful when we happened to trek on a rainy late afternoon. Had a really enjoyable stay. Great for lazing around. Staff was ever so helpful. They made arrangement for us with the boat operator, Sunny Rainbow, for our return trip. We were initially told that we have to wait till 14:00. As we had two hours to spend, we went to the restaurant. An hour later, the staff came to us that a boat is leaving at 13:30. They had already gotten our bags out from the reception and were ready to help carry the stuff onto the boat. Would definitely love to visit again. Hope that more will be done to ensure the cleanliness of the sea. Pity to see so much plastics gathered near the beach at the sunset point."

Villa Mathis: "la maison rouge de l’hôtel villa Mathis privatisée : le top !"

Review by: PEACH7569 | Source: Trip Advisor
