Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Lovely and relax resort"

Review by: Elly d | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed here for two nights with a great design room plus a pool view and big garden. It is a real Khmer art for sure. Lovely, friendly, and helpful staff. Location is good, abit quiet but sleep well. Good experience and will go back with friends for next visit in Cambodia.

tugu lombok: "Paradise!"

Review by: Alice C | Source: tripadvisor.com
We stayed here for 6 nights in December and had the best time of our lives. This place is amazing! The hotel and it's grounds are so beautiful. We stayed in one of the Amempang rooms and it was so luxurious and absolutely huge. I've never been anywhere like this before- it's absolute paradise. The staff are exceptional and all so happy, friendly, welcoming and eager to go the extra mile for you. My boyfriend proposed to me while we were here, and because he'd let them know what he was planning they set us up a private dinner in one of the beds on the beach and had it all decorated for us. When we went back to our room they had decorated that for us too! They had made animal arrangements out of the towels, lit candles in the bathroom and filled up the bath with water and flowers. They made our whole stay so special I can't thank them enough. We are coming back for our honeymoon!

Mie Cafe: "The best meal i had on this trip of close to one month"

Review by: nerouc | Source: Trip Advisor
The chef is very proud of what he makes and we were not disappointed. I ordered scallops ceviche and oxtail.. both delicious. I wanted to go back and order the dish with red ants but could not manage to go back there, I go to Cambodia every year and try to go there every time. My guest were also very happy with what they ordered.

Maison Polanka: "Charming and eclectic with a wonderful staff"

Review by: trk75 | Source: Trip Advisor
Wonderful, charming tiny little hotel in a perfect location between the ruins and the main town. We could not have imagined a more perfect place to stay during our visit to Cambodia. The rooms are more like staying in someone's (very nicely decorated) house than being in a commercial hotel, and the food and service were excellent. On the last night of our stay our room had a minor problem with the air conditioning, and the hotel moved us to a nicer room without us even asking so that the problem would be cleanly resolved when we returned from dinner. There are bikes available to ride, you can walk from the hotel to an e-bike rental place, and they also provided free transport to nearby restaurants when possible or you could pay $2 for a Tuk tuk. Highly recommended.

Nimmu House: "beautiful home stay"

Review by: drbharti_swift | Source: Trip Advisor
"beautiful heritage property with all modern amenities. The tiny entrance itself speaks about its character. French touch to Ladhki house was pretty fusion. Tents were also beautiful. Our Hostess Sonam was also very hospitable. A lovely feel over all."

VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Best Experience in My 6 Week Asian Travels"

Review by: anonymousreviewer20 | Source: tripadvison.com
"Amazing Boutique Hotel that sits along the peaceful Saigon River, beautiful colonial style rooms, amazing views, personal staff, great pool, and excellent restaurant. I never wanted to leave (no kidding). The staff were so good to me it felt like they were my family. I had another month of travel upon leaving and I knew no hotel would match this. I would say it was one of the top 2 best experiences in my 30 years of travel. I want to give credit to the amazing staff (top to bottom). The Director of Operations Ta Thanh Thuy was so helpful: from future travel/hotel tips to aid with some personal business of mine (all this while being wonderfully pleasant and thoughtful). Ms. Nhu, at the front desk was the anchor. She helped me with all needs: tours, food recommendations, travel tips, and taking care of a Fed Ex package that wouldn't have gotten to me if not for her hard work. Equaling as pleasant and helpful was my friend Ms. Tuyet. Kevin, the chef, gave me wonderful advice for touring the city, and dazzled me with his Michelin level food. And finally the charming and lovely Ms. Quy. I enjoyed her big smile every day and our nice conversations. The rest of the staff were equally great, but I don't have the time or space to write on it. An unforgettable experience. I hope I'm back soon. "

Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Cozy, lush boutique hotel heaven"

Review by: The_Canadian_Drifter | Source: Trip Advisor
"My wife and I recently stayed for one night and were impressed with Maisons Wat Kor. Situated away from the noisy downtown area, the cosy hotel offers a secluded resort feel that is all about tranquility. You will find a swimming pool and a large, picturesque water Lilly pond. The staff are all smiles and friendly and service is prompt and professional. Strong wi-if is available throughout the property. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were soft and clean. Both a ceiling fan and an air conditioner were available in room. Dinner incorporated a set menu that focused on local Khmer cuisine. Vegetarian options were also available. The food was fresh and high quality although sour soups and lotus root are not really to my liking. My wife's vegetarian selections were found to be very delicious as not a grain of rice was left to waste. Breakfast included a choice between continental and Khmer (ie. noodles). The continental breakfast was basic but satisfying however the better choice is the the noodles with vegetables. Although a short stay, it was very comfortable and we enjoyed all aspects of this boutique hotel. If it is good enough for Angelina Jolie (she stayed recently while filming in Cambodia) than it is good enough for us!"

Talabgaon Castle: "Lovely secluded heritage hotel"

Review by: Jagoda_Buczak-Singh | Source: Trip Advisor
"Stayed for a night at the Talabgaon Castle with my husband. It was intended to be a night stop-over to break our road trip from Ranthambore to Delhi. But, to our surprise, it turned out to be so much more than comfortable beds and clean sheets. Although a little ways off the main highway (a few miles on a narrow village road), it was certainly worth the detour. A beautifully and functionally restored Rajasthani heritage property, the Talabgaon castle has comfortable and well appointed rooms and bathrooms. Large gardens with intimate seating areas (and, the main garden/lawn has a resident emu.....along with a few peacocks passing through), a nice swimming pool with ample sunbeds and a seating area, and a restaurant, offering both indoor and al fresco courtyard dining. Dinner was good with plenty of variety on the menu. The only two letdowns were the very limited choice and and taste of breakfast, and the TV (it was a small box TV with no channels). But, given the location and alternative ways to spend our time, we did not really miss the TV too much. And, are happy to give this property a 5 star rating and a recommendation of ""do visit""."

Rachamankha: "Location, location, location"

Review by: JYandTY | Source: tripadvisor.com
Best place to stay in Chiangmai as its central to everywhere. The hotel is a 5-star oasis to escape from the city yet it is located in the city. The staff are friendly and professional making our stay extremely seamless. The room is exquisite with old Thai charm yet furnished with modern day necessities. We definitely would come back here next time!

Maison Polanka: "Perfect relaxation"

Review by: Bettina71 | Source: Trip Advisor
Maison Polanka is one of the most beautiful hotels we have visited. The Khmer house was like a second home, a bit removed from the rest of the hotel, lovingly decorated and extremely comfortable and relaxing. The best feature is the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, nothing is too much and every wish or question is dealt with immediately. The location is a bit outside the main part of Siem Reap but there is a great restaurant within easy walking distance. Transport is easily organised via the hotel but just walking outside would probably also enable one to catch a remork within minutes. Tours and transport might be cheaper when organised elsewhere but for us convenience was most important and we thought the prices offered by the hotel were very reasonable indeed. Highly, highly recommended.
