Villa Song Saigon: "The best hotel in Saigon"
"Our stay was wonderful, this is a truly beautiful hotel with great views of the river. The restaurant and food was terrific and most importantly the staff are extremely fantastic and also extremely helpful. In particular the managers were always great with helping out with referrals or last minute tours. Stayed February 2017, traveled with family"Manda De Laos: "Unbedingt empfehlenswert"
"Ein herrliches Ambiente mitten in der Stadt. Wunderschöne Gartenanlage mit von der UNESCO klassifizierten Seerosenteichen. Hervorragende laotische Küche, die Menüs bieten einen gute Auswahl verschiedener typischer Gerichte. Alles frisch zubereitet und hervorragende Qualität. Die Preise sind gehoben, aber angemessen. Personal sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und professionell. "Rachamankha: "Absolute delight"
"Unfortunately, memory fails of the date of our visit, which was prior to said date, but not of the enchantment of the hotel which persists. After the taxi ride from the airport through the streets of Chang Mai, we were swept into a land of storybook imagination. The creation of an atmosphere of Asian quiet elegance settled softly around us. My fondest memory, and one I would fervently like to repeat, is having a massage on the open air second floor of the pool pavilion. A gentle breeze kissed the curtains and birds sang while I floated away to another dimension. The restaurant is very good, allowing one to remain within the dream. "Cuca: "Fun and creative food"
"Our party of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) came for dinner. We were a bit surprised that they had a kids menu. The kids really enjoyed their meals, although the portions were pretty tiny for 10-12 yr olds. We had some really fun cocktails including a tropical sangria and lime mojito. They started us with a taste of cotton candy coated with spices. We ordered a bunch of tapas to share including -mushroom fritters which were really good, I would get this again. -baked scallop w/mashed cauliflower: tasty and creamy cauliflower went really well with the scallop, I'd get this again. -roasted pork bun with pickled cabbage; good but definitely but definitely not the best (Momofuku) -smoked butterfish w beetroot cream- nice smokey flavor, solid dish -honey baked pumpkin salad w crunchy granola, a signature dish which was surprisingly good. I enjoyed the crunchy granola w the pumpkin -crispy fried chicken, pretty good and tasty but nothing that special -bbq octopus was ok -marinated pulled pork w soft boiled egg was ok, flavors were ok but not spectacular, wouldn't get this again. -clay pot mushroom rice was good with lots of mushrooms, portion was a bit small. -dessert cocoa99 was really yummy, warm chocolate w mint ice cream and cocoa croutons- I love mint & chocolate so this was great for me. -caramel apple w black pepper ice cream- ice cream was very interesting. Overall we had a really fun meal. Service was great, they were really friendly and nice. It was great to come in a big group to get to try a lot of different dishes. I would recommend Cuca for a nice meal out in Jimbaran."Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "This is an adventure not a hotel"
Arriving after mid day we were presented with a fantastic lunch, and then, after a short break taken out on the first of our four safaris. Noel has the inside running on the gig. He knows how to avoid the crowds and where the animals are likely to be (picking up on the signs most of us look past or do not hear). He goes straight to the front of the line at opening time for a first run on the empty roads (which animals also find it convenient to run along). Noel uses Land Cruisers with proper rounded off road tyres and adjusted suspensions, and provides high quality binoculars which adds to the experience. The food and service, no doubt reflecting Noel's experience in the airline industry, was of the highest standard. The tents are true safari camping tents - not glorified hotel rooms dressed up as a night under canvas ("glamping") - but still comfortable and very much fit for purpose. Note there are no promises about what you will or will not see. If you want a 100 per cent guarantee as to spotting a Leopard I recommend a zoo - otherwise embrace the adventure.Inle Princess Resort: "TRADITIONAL AND BEAUTIFUL"
For the more traditional stay this is the place for you. The rooms are adorned in cedar and their is an outdoor shower that is just divine. Tea and coffee making is included and they have great wi fi as long as a storm doesn't interrupt the feed :) . The staff are so courteous and will do anything to make your stay the best possible experience on the lake. The pool is large and the spa is excellent and very reasonable in price. The River Resort: "Awesome place"
i loved the place. i can remember thinking while we were out touring that i could not wait to get back to the resort and take one of their outdoor showers. Southern lao is beautiful but a bit dusty. i would definitely go back.Talabgaon Castle: "Unreal Experience"
"My wife and I recently visited this resort on our trip from San Francisco and could not have been happier with our stay. It is a beautiful property and the staff could not have been more hospitable. The grounds were beautifully maintained, the rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, and the food was fantastic. We stopped here for a night in between Agra and Jaipur. It is in the countryside so it is a very tranquil and peaceful setting when compared to the city. We were treated like royalty at this 200+ year old castle that was recently restored to this beautiful resort. The resort sits on 100 acres with expansive lawns, a pool, gardens, and a polo field. It is a perfect place to spend a night or two to unwind and get way from the hustle and bustle of India. 5+ stars across the board. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Sea Dance Resort: "Honeymoon heaven"
"What can I say this place was absolute heaven for the five days we stayed as part of our honeymoon travelling around Thailand. The cottages are beautiful with extreme care and attention to detail from the giant beds with high thread count sheets to two types of blinds, one to offer privacy and one to block the light completely for sleeping. The air conditioning was the best we had, modern unit with no noise at all and they even provide a mosquito racquet, flip flops and beach bag and towels. The bathroom was amazing and completely different to anything we had experienced before as it was semi outdoor and had a tropical feel to it with lots of plants but still high spec with the fixtures and fittings. The facilities are excellent in general with an infinity pool, pool bar, kayaks to borrow at no charge, excellent WiFi throughout the resort. The staff went above and beyond with their hospitality, learning each guest by name and always ready to help with a smile, Faith and Helen were especially helpful throughout our stay with advice. The breakfast area/ restaurant/ shaded area was fantastic, open air and circular and by the pool it was fab if you wanted to sit and read in the shade and have a break from the pool or just sit and watch the world go by. In the evening it had a fab atmosphere and the food served was outstanding and we ate twice here, my husband saying the soft shell crab yellow curry was the best he had all holiday. They also do a happy hour on a weds where drinks are free! What more could you want?! We also took advantage of the spa and had the most AMAZING traditional Thai massage! The woman didn’t speak much English but she definitely knew how to do a massage! We also did the Thai cooking course that the resort offers, the trip to the local market was fab and the staff so friendly and helpful! My husband found it very helpful but I would say if you’re an adept cook give it a miss, better for families or someone with not much experience (like my husband!) There’s a really handy shop just outside the resort that you can rent a scooter from which we did for 200bhat a day (£5!) and it took a couple of hours to drive around the whole island or they can organise a taxi to the local Fisherman’s village for some nice restaurants and bars and a more lively atmosphere. There is also a 7 eleven at the top of the road. This is only a small resort but perfect if you want an ultimate chilled out, relaxing and personal holiday... we would recommend it a thousand times over! Thanks for an amazing honeymoon!"Manda De Laos: "Not to be missed"
"We were staying nearby and saw that Manda de Laos had a good rating so we decided to try it and what a pleasant surprise it was! Let me start by the service which was superb! The waiter took the time to take us through the different dishes and explaining them to us! The setting is out of this world, i don't think many restaurants can beat such a romantic setting! The food is extremely tasty triggering every single taste bud I have! All in a superb experience not to be missed"
