Samanea Beach Resort: "Great Resort"
"Loved staying here and the rooms were amazing. The staff were very friendly and were always there to help when needed. I traveled with my 2 daughters aged 3 and 6 and the staff were very accomodating to their needs and made sure they were well looked after as well. The rooms were spotless and the outdoor shower / bath was amazing. Would recommend to stay here and we will be going back for sure."Manda De Laos: "Luxury dinner but good quality"
This was the first restaurant we tried. Perfect for couples with romantic atmosphere. One of the most expensive restaurant in Laos I would say, but the food is worthy.Supanniga Cruise: "Probably the best stylish dinner cruise in Bangkok!!!"
"Love the cruise design, so chic and stylish. Not way traditional Thai like other cruises. I especially love the lounge area at the front of the boat where you can chill, sip champagne, and enjoy Bangkok's nighttime river view. For the food, it comes with 6-course authentic Thai food and a glass of Taittinger champagne as a welcome drink. And I must say the taste is really Thai, unlike some other cruises that compromises way to much to suit foreigners' palate. The service is top-notch, very attentive and friendly. The cruise manager, Khun Joe, is the real gem. He helped us taking pictures and we loved the wine he recommended. All in all, a must do if are into river cruising."Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Honeymoon Highlight"
"We booked the luxury tent as part of our honeymoon. From pick up to drop off everything was 5 star! We had the most fantastic time and staff went the extra mile to make our stay extra special. The room itself was magnificent and we adored being able to shower under the stars. Everything about the room has been carefully thought out and lovingly handmade. The bed was extremely comfortable and we felt safe and secure in the tent. It felt like a tent from 'Harry Potter' as from the outside you would not expect them to be able to fit in so much luxury. The food! Every day we were greeted with a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. We even had private dining under the stars and a cookery lesson. I think my favourite had to be string hoppers and the coconut pancakes. Let's not forget the Safari. We managed to see a total of 5 leopards! (a mating couple, a very large male eating a monkey and a mother and cub on our last day!). Praneeth was our guide and he was very knowledgeable. A big thank you to everyone for making it so special, we will remember it so fondly and really hope to come back very soon! Emma and Matty"Tugu Bali: "Amazing service"
"We have chosen this hotel to start our 10 days Bali tour moving from West, to Ubud and ending by Candidasa. Fantastic boutique hotel, wooden construction and local spirit. Everything is warm and easy. In a private garden, you may choose pool house or ""Rejang Suite"" (such as we did). Food and service are just great. Our only one unhappiness was the environment, with a dirty beach (we'be been told that it is normal during this period). But what an amazing sunset !!! Some local shops (cloths and vegan restaurant) are only 15mn by walk or 2-5mn by scooter. We shall definitely return during our next trip. Enjoy "Satri House: "A gem"
This is my second stay at Satri House, the most beautiful hotel in and around Luang Prabang. With lovely gardens and passages that open onto lily ponds and out of the way pavilions, the colonial French buildings, rooms and hallways are filled with Buddhist statues and Chinese porcelain. My room had a deliciously comfortable king bed all the hot water you need and was kept spotless and fragrant by the wonderful hotel staff who serve excellent breakfasts (my favorite: rice noodle soup with pork), delicious luncheon salads by the pool and surprisingly good French dinners served with drinkable wine at the right temperature! This is the place to stay if you're going to the fantastic Luang Prabang Film Festival in early December or want to avoid the tourist crowds in the Old Town, just 15 minutes away on foot or 5 if you borrow a bike from the hotel. This is where I'll be staying with my friends during the LPFF in 2017. Satri House is a wonderful hotel, one of my favorites in Southeast Asia.Cuca: "Best meal of the holiday by far"
"I came with my friend for her 30th birthday and it was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend the tasting menu and the food was out of this world. Coupled with extremely tentative staff I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to couples, families and groups of friends. The wine and cocktails were fab, I had the apple cocktail served over a frozen apple and it was really yummy. We sat in the bar area watching the chefs at work and I think this added to the evening. Get yourself down to Cuca's you will not be disappointed."Tugu Lombok: "Stunning hotel/resort a must visit"
"My wife and I had stayed in the Ampenan suite that was very comfortable, especially the extra large king bed, the size of the room and quality bed linen. The individual soft furnishings and artworks made it feel very special and homely. We were also given a tour of some of the other types of villa's on offer that were all beautiful in their own individual way. The entire experience at this hotel, even though it was a short stay was very memorable from beginning to end, and everything in between. The beautiful collection of artefacts and antiques throughout the property make it a very unique resort that is also very well maintained. The service and friendliness of the entire team was outstanding. Daisy, Henry and Elly went beyond the call of duty to welcome us and to also make us feel very special. (Thank you) Only 1 of 2 restaurants were in operation due to it being low season. The food was generally of a high standard with a decent verity of local and western food. We would highly recommend Tugu Lombok to anyone who wishes for a first class experience. Thanks again to you all, Matt & Cherry. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"Satri House: "Super relaxing"
Very comfortable rooms and good location. Service is impeccable and the whole setting is extremely relaxing. The staff are very helpful for everything and the breakfast is superb, unique and very colonial. Wonderful swimming pool too. Highly recommend it.Mathis Retreat: "Very nice place just outside Ubud"
First night in Bali. Very nice place. Driver from airport (slightly overpriced) arranged by Mathis stopped at coffee plantation demo. You can skip that stop. We enjoyed walk along rice paddy (not along busy road) in the morning. Did not care for busy Ubud - preferred other parts of Bali. Hotel provides shuttle to/from Ubud. View of rice paddy from hotel is very nice.
