4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Simply stunning"
"My wife and I booked our trip to Cambodia a year ago. The 4 Rivers Floating Lodge came highly recommended so we were really looking forward to our stay. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. The location is stunning, the rooms are wonderful, the food is superb and the staff are some of the nicest people we have met on our trip. We went on a couple of excursions which were both great fun. The guides are very knowledgeable and ensure you have a great time. Do not miss the trip to see the fireflies. It’s only a short trip by boat but really impressive. The owners deserve a special mention for the great work they are doing with the local community. They employ a number of people from the local villages and I understand that they support a local school. I would go back tomorrow if I could. Nick & Jo"Villa Song Saigon: "Saigon sanctuary"
this elegant and friendly three story beauty is a haven of peace in a hectic city. Staff are delightful and go out of their way to remember you and meet your every need . Breakfasting right on the Saigon river is a great way to start any day.Villa Song Saigon: "Peaceful retreat by the river"
"We stayed for one night but wish we had stayed for longer. The setting, history and design of the hotel are stunning. After a day exploring district 1 it was the perfect spot to come back to, to enjoy a glass of wine sat beside the river. The hotel offers a speedboat shuttle into the centre, which takes about 15 minutes - otherwise it took about 20 minutes off-peak to come back by taxi. The service was very good - we were delighted to be able to check into our room on arrival at 9am. The breakfast was a la carte and excellent - sat right next to the river - what a wonderful start to the day! Our room was quite small - but had a lovely balcony with river views. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"Satri House: "Beautiful"
"When planning a visit to Luang Prabang you can get a little blown away by the accommodation on offer, there are many beautiful properties to consider all offering their own style. After much thought we plumped for here and stayed in a Satri House Suite. The original historic house in which we stayed was delightful. A lovely bathroom, huge bedroom with a very comfortable mattress and a separate sitting room area. The rest of the little complex of rooms are well set out in the grounds and not at all crowded, everything has been very tastefully done and to a ver high standard. The location is away from the main centre a little, a normal paced walk probably not more than 30mins to the far end of the town, we enjoyed walking into the centre, traffic is not a problem at all, and to be honest we appreciated the little district where the hotel is located, very pleasant streets around. We also used the complimentary bikes to have a little venture further to edges of town. A little Lao whiskey nightcap with a quick read of the local paper became a pleasant regular evening stop. Walking around town with a keen eye on the other places we considered, Villa Santi, Busari, 3 Nagas etc amongst many more we firmly decided we had made the right choice and not once did I have a regret of our choice. We did not eat a main meal here, but breakfast was more than adequate, the home jams delicious. If I had a tiny gripe it would be that the staff, which in every other way were delightful and really attentive could pay a little more attention to used towels around the pool, thats not much as the only grumble of any kind though. Beautiful place, I understand this is pretty much the main heritage hotel in the city, I am not surprised."Anopura: "A lovely escape"
My mother and I had one of the nicest stays of our trip to India here. The food is excellent. The staff are lovely and the location is peaceful. It was a nice break from the frenetic cities of Rajasthan. The accommodation is excellent. The decor is very tasteful. We regretted not being able to stay a second night. The staff are very well trained. They are helpful without being intrusive.SUMMERTIME VILLA: "A Paradise"
Summertime Villa represents the beautiful journey of Sucheta and Hans together and their various travel tales...There will never be a dull moment during you stay! Every corner of this gorgeous place represents the taste and expertise of its beautiful owners..The staff is so helpful and polite with smiles on their faces..The meals that they serve is to die for with so much of love in it, be it local or international cuisine!! Please do visit this place to add some everlasting and memorable moments in your lives......Reverie Siam Pai: "Stunning views & décor"
My husband and I stayed at Reverie Siam as part of our honeymoon trip to Thailand, and we have continued to rave about our stay there. Everything about this resort is beautiful--from the views of the mountains to the decorations in the rooms. The resort has a very relaxing atmosphere, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. If you are traveling in Thailand, don't miss the chance to stay here.tugu bali: "The Secret Retreat!"
"This is our 2nd stay at Tugu. We enjoyed it so much we couldn't resist another stay. Although it is a little more expensive the Tugu ""offer"" is unique. You can lie in your own private space overlooking the sea without being annoyed by hawkers and just watch the surfers, or lie by the pool in privacy. The perfect getaway. We were fortunate enough to experience the cultural evening which presented us with 3 dances - so amazing and professional - a totally memorable experience. We used the hotel driver to take us to Seminyak on a couple of occasions - he was polite, courteous and perfect in every way. Thank you Tugu - your staff our amazing...well done Jenny. Good luck with the Living Wall construction, we look forward to seeing it in the future."Mathis Retreat: "A disconnected enclave, perfect for unwinding"
"This is a great place to just relax, slow down and unwind. It is secluded property with a stunning rice field view and an infinity pool. The property can be hard to find, as the resort has undergone a brand change and the boards for the new MATHIS are not updated. So best to have your driver call the hotel for directions. The rooms are clean, extremely spacious and we used 3 persons in a room (with an extra bed charge) and it was still very comfortable for us. All amenities are provided as best, and the quality is excellent. The breakfast is very fresh and dinner options are quite good. The menu can be expensive for the style of resort it is - and there are few options immediately outside. But its not far from the bustling marketplace & the resort runs a ferry pickup and drop every hour during the day, which is very helpful. The wifi is very good. The TV has few channels and is very bad reception. The staff are very helpful, but sometimes find it hard to communicate easily. The property manager is very kind and does well to mingle with guests where possible. I would definitely visit again."Jing’s Residence: "Not to be missed"
"If you wish to visit Ping Yao while in China, this hotel is THE place to stay. It is, in fact, worth the trip, all by itself. The classic beauty of the old town and a stay at Jing's Residence combines for an unforgettable experience. Aline Wilson "
