Tugu Bali: "A little jewel"
"The Hotel Tugu Bali is one of the best places I have ever staid in whilst traveling the world. The attention that is given to little details, like flower arrangements, candles, and even a little present on arrival & departure, was absolutely falttering. The staff is so friendly and sweet & make you feel special. Parts of the hotel are also museums & there are many limited collectors items you will not see anywhere else in the world. This is particularly charming as well. The hotel is located in beautiful Changgu, where a lot of the expats live, and which makes you be away from the hustle and busy bustle of Seminiak and Denpasar. You may want to consider renting a scooter to get around. There are many places to eat, and ithe beach is ideal for surfing. I had the suite with the private pool & I was in heaven :D I loved everything about Tugu Bali & put it very high on my recommendation list (and I am a picky person when it comes to hotels ;))"MesaStila: "Wondereful and Relaxing"
Can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay at the charming Mesa Stila Resort. Our villa was a wonderful suprise, full of personal touches, and indulgent at the same time. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and we just sunk into the relaxed pace. There are not enough superlatives for the view - it is breathtaking. Staying here is a privilege and we are grateful for the experience. Although not a typical "child-friendly" resort, our 7 year old daughter was made to feel extremely welcome - she enjoyed the horse-riding and participating in the batik demonstration. Be sure to do the coffee plantation tour - it was so interesting. This place is just beautiful...Mrauk U Princess Resort: "Fabulous Food in a Fabulous Setting"
We were not staying here but came to look at the resort and eat a late lunch after four hours of visiting ruins on bicycles. We were hot and sweaty so definitely appreciated the cool, open restaurant. Delicious drinks. Delicious homemade bread, along with chilled cucumber soup, chicken sate, banana leaf shrimp salad, potato curry, and ice cream for dessert. Excellent service provided by Kyaw Soe Paing and the staff he was training. An expensive treat to ourselves but well worth it!Reverie Siam: "Out of this world experience"
"We are so glad we booked that place. It was a family reunion and we couldn't have wished for more. It is not only the place itself which is just amazing but the staff as well whom are all so genuinely friendly and warm. Everything was perfect from the time we checked in until out and this memories will last for long. Spoil yourself and book the villas, they are just simply perfect. Thanks, keep up the great work and see you soon again !"MesaStila: "I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting Central Java"
We had such an amazing stay that we wondered if we could extend our trip, despite needing to pay extra to change our flights. The room was super comfortable and artfully decorated. The vibe from the entire property was welcoming, peaceful and relaxing. I feel like we've been transported to a land without worries. The ever smiling and helpful staff definitely helped! The Turkish bath and massage was 12/10. Must try. I felt like a newborn right after.Supanniga Eating Room: "Yummy food at reasonable prices"
We greatly enjoyed our dinner at Supanniga. Very tasty and interesting dishes in authentic Thai style. Friendly service. Comfortable seating although the restaurant was packed and busy. Not ostentatious, just really good food at reasonable prices.Arumdalu: "Unearthly beautiful destination not far from the heart of Indonesia"
"I have no complain, instead a full satisfaction. Arumdalu resort is among the best private resorts I've stayed in a while. I would recommend visitors to experience sunrise and sunsets in the area of Arumdalu, it was astonishingly breathtaking. Also, I want to recommend you to try the food at their restaurant. The food offered was the best I've tasted around. Simply because they source the food locally, and some they even have their own farm to grow their ingredients. So fresh. Oh, and the most important part of all is the room. What I like about the room the most is that it lets a lot of natural light comes through the room. The light makes it so well lit and creates beautiful ambience during daytime and warm ambience during your night sleep. Very nice touch. TO get to Arumdalu is not far. around an hour by plane to Belitung (island where Arumdalu is located), and another hour by car from the airport. I would easily recommend this resort to anyone or any couple who would like a completely unique getaway and escape from the crowded and boring Jakarta. This is where you need to go! Stayed March 2017, traveled with friends"The Hue House: "Roof restaurant Tops it in Ho Chi Min City"
"This roof top restaurant is a lovely spot in district 3. You wouldn't know it was there as the front of it looks like an office block. Look for the Masters Building in Tran Cao Van (just around the corner from the Novotel Hotel). Food was sensational together with great service from our waiter Anh Phuc. It has a lovely ambience and decor with a great drinks / food variety menu catering for all tastes. We went there twice whilst in HCMC, highly recommend this restaurant. We didn't book either time and was able to get in easily . My tip: try the Ga Nurong Dan Toc A Luoi - grilled Chicken"Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Stunning"
What a joy it was to arrive at this serene, beautiful place. The staff looked after us to ensure our stay was as wonderful as it could be, nothing was too much trouble. The views are spectacular, it is just perfect in every way and i do so hope to return one day.Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Total relaxation"
Neeleshwar Hermitage is pretty much my favourite place in the world for total relaxation. Cottages on a long beach, sand between your toes at meal times, yoga, Ayurvedic treatments, the sound of ocean waves in the background and wonderful people who unobtrusively look after everything. Every need is met but with none of the trappings of the typical ‘luxury’ hotel. If you want evening entertainment, music, exotic imported foodstuffs, or the bright lights this is not the place for you. And please don’t expect it to change. The owners are committed both to sustainability and to this unique model of total luxury with a difference. If you like like peace and quiet and privacy come. As a couple of retired academics, for us it is very expensive, but worth every rupee.
