"For our last night in Bangkok we had dinner on the Supanniga. It was one of the best nights in Bangkok, really attentive staff, amazing food, one of the best meals we had, and awesome views. One of those rare places where the photos don't do it justice and you have to go there to experience the beauty. So much care has been taken in the architecture, interior, landscaping and staff to create a unique environment. The hotel perfectly compliments the most picturesque setting. Inle Heritage hotel is one of the best boutique hotels in Myanmar. Not only offers superb accommodation (only six stilt bungalows for the guests) in a beautiful environment, but the owner offers every year free courses related to tourism industry to Burmese students from the area. The stuff was sweet and helpful , most of them graduates from hotel's academy. They also produce their own vegetables which they use in the restaurant. "My aunt and I stayed there for one night. Our lovely room is clean, well-decorated and luxurious. The staffs, students from the vocational training center, are very friendly, helpful and they make sure that we are having the best stay. The bed is very comfortable. Lodging asides, breakfast was very delicious. Many thanks to our host Ko Min and staffs for the hospitality. I would definitely recommend it to others. We really enjoyed the experience. Far enough from noisy Moalboal. We stayed in a private house which was huge! On the hill with our own swimming pool. The place is quite with a big garden around full of bougainvillaea and facing the sea. The Resort is very intimate with only 5 accommodations. It keep this place quiet and charming, perfect to relax, even with kids. The staff who without exception provided us with wonderful service. Having read the reviews, we were not looking forward to the road transfer from the airport up to Glenburn but it really wasn't too bad at all and definitely worth it. We were warmly greeted by Will & Faye and they continued to look after us very well during our 4 night stay. We enjoyed the communal meals and we met some very interesting guests. The location was perfect, amazing views and our room lovely. The food was good and every effort was made to accommodate special requests (we had scones and specially made Portuguese tarts) We did a couple of the escorted walks which we really enjoyed. We also took much advantage of the free laundry service! A faboulous property and we had a wonderful time.The Island Lodge: "Perfect Place for relaxing holidays"
"We stayed 2 nights in this hotel and everything was perfect. The rooms are beautiful with a nice view on the Mekong river. The breakfast is just delicious. The pool is perfect if you want to relax with the view on the Mekong river. The staff is really friendly and the owners will make everything for you to just feel like being at home. We did some excursions with the hotel and it was also very nice. They have bicycles with child seat, which is perfect. We will definitely come back. Sylvia"Maison Polanka: "On point design boutique"
Charming boutique hotel with fantastic design and grounds. Well located and helpful staff. The restaurant itself was a bit mediocre, but the setting was so special that it didn't matter. The spa was also quite enjoyable. Given the price compared to some of the other design hotels in the area, I would definitely choose Maison Polanka again.
