A lovely setting in a Khmer style house. Sit outside and enjoy the dishes prepared by a chef with creativity. Very attentive and friendly staff.

Amata Lanna: "Gorgeous boutique hotel"

Review by: Louise B | Source: Trip Advisor
"We were moved here as they needed to check the electric shower in our other hotel. It is a gorgeous boutique hotel very beautifully decorated in old Lanna style Thai decor with ornate wooden features . The staff are very welcoming and you are warmly greeted and offered a welcome drink in the small reception area. The rooms are all set around a pool and there are lots of little seating areas and a cute little path over a pond to the toilet. The room itself was decorated with plush Thai fabrics, wooden artefacts and had a beautiful, huge bathtub, where you could enjoy a candlelit bath. I loved bed that the bath and shower products were in pot bottles with stoppers instead of plastic and there was a cute little elephant soap dish with an elephant soap inside. The location is close to the hustle and bustle and near the nightmarkets but the hotel offers a tranquil respite from all the noise. It was lovely to sit outside at night as the lights from the pool and the garden made it very peaceful. We had to leave for an early flight to the airport and the staff arranged a taxi and for mango sticky rice and coffee delivered to our room before we left. I would definitely stay here again."

KHWAN BEACH RESORT: "Incredible location! Modern villas, great service"

Review by: AnandMavani | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Just left a four day stay here and I must say that it was an incredible experience. You get what you pay for with money here, the villas are impeccable, spacious, well presented and team at Khwan were exceptionally accommodating! The location is beach facing, and if your villa is not beach facing then it's only a 20 second walk to a very peaceful, quiet bay! The town itself is full of activity, in particular the Thursday night market and also Romans restaurant ( both highlights) you can hire a moped for 200 thb around the corner and then you have easy access to the whole island! The staff at Kwhan made it all the more special however. They were so kind, and on the final day when I was struggling to manage the journey inland to the next destination they were super helpful in getting me there and making sure I was taken care of. I genuinely appreciated it! Overall, I would recommend staying here! Tiny bit more expansive than most but you do get a lot more for your buck x "

Sea Dance Resort: "Terrific – Like joining a community!"

Review by: Stefan W | Source: Trip Advisor
We are a family of four and stayed in a two-bedroom pool villa over New Year's 2017-18 for four nights. There were several other families there as well. The owners and staff made us feel very welcome, and the food and facilities were top notch. The best part was the new year's party, which made everyone feel like we'd been invited to someone's house to celebrate - really a fun time, we recommend the Seadance to everyone.

Tugu Bali: "Simply Amazing"

Review by: JamesK727 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Absolutely loved this place. It was the first of 3 hotels we stayed at over 2 weeks in Bali and although the others were exceptional (e.g. Alila Uluwatu) Hotel Tugu holds a very special place in our hearts. The service was faultless - genuine and friendly from the very start, there were so many special moments, made all the more special by the fantastic team - whether it was someone running to give us a towel on the beach, or making our romantic dinner on the raised beds outside so special, or making sure our tea was how we like it. The food is great too - go for the Indonesian food (which makes up most of the menu). We liked wandering around the local area to find drinks and food but often ended up coming back to the hotel as the food was so good. They've also just recently opened a Japanese restaurant which was good too - especially for cocktails up on the balcony watching the world go by. Speaking of the local area, there's a great beach for chilling, surfing and walking along, some good shops set back from the beach, and a busy bar just across from the hotel entrance. We stayed in Le Mayeur suite which is a raised house on a lily pond. Huge rooms, private mini-pool, and semi-outdoor bath amongst everything else. You get to the suite via a couple of raised wooden walkways over the lilies. One of the walkways is private for the Le Mayeur suite and an excellent place to enjoy the delicious breakfasts. The whole hotel (including the room) is full of antiques, which makes for a very special feel. It was probably the most calming hotel we've every stayed in. Someone is building a block of flats next door - I hope it doesn't impact Hotel Tugu's calm and serenity too much as it really was perfect. I guess we'll find out next year when we return!"

The Village House: "Borneo Adventure"

Review by: Giles62 | Source: Trip Advisor
After 2 weeks of exploring Borneo this hotel provided the ideal rest and relaxation before flying home. We really enjoyed chilling out in the big recliners and the hammocks. Don't be put off by the initial setting, inside it truly is a gem and the food was the best of our whole holiday. The staff were friendly and the accommodation clean and tidy. Also don't miss the sunsets over the South China Sea.

Tugu Malang: "Amazing and they know what GF means!"

Review by: thefoodchannel | Source: Trip Advisor
Loved this place! Simply beautiful and charming! Every detail, every flower and candle was just perfect. The hotel is very clean and everybody is kind and helpful! We had dinner at the restaurant and I have to admit that I was a bit nervous telling them about my celiac disease and how they had to be careful! The menager himself discuss with me about what I could eat and how everything had to be done! I had an amazing dinner and a delicious breakfast!!! Rubby as well manage to treat us so well making us feel at home!!! Definetly a place to stay!!!

Villa Song Saigon: "Classic Oasis in Saigon"

Review by: Frank W | Source: Trip Advisor
"Villa Song Saigon provided my family with a great two days in Saigon. It is a quiet and classic getaway away from hustle and bustle of the city. The staff was incredibly welcoming and took great care of my family of five. The breakfast was delicious and the river side location enjoyable. It combines classic architecture and modern amenities. If you are looking to be in the center of District 1, this is not the place for you. However, there is nothing in District 1 that can come close the the classic Saigon experience of Villa Song Saigon. Room Tip: If you don't like climbing stairs, choose a room on the first or second floor."

Tugu Bali: "Best Beef Range Dang"

Review by: Linda S | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stopped here for lunch on a Kombi Tour and the staff were super friendly and attentive, even bringing my son out some calamine lotion for a rash they noticed he had. The food and cocktails were awesome, there is a pool to swim with towels provided. There are also raised day beds to chill out and view the beach across the road. Stayed February 2017, traveled with family"
