Dewakan: "Amazing experience – does justice to local produce!"
"What an amazing experience, we were blown away by the flavours - almost exploding in our mouths at every bite. The last time I experienced something similar was in Heston Blumenthal's Dinner restaurant in London, so I would say this is pretty close! We were amazed at what they could do with locally sourced ingredients and they truly did justice to Malaysian flavours. Kudos to the team there. Highly recommended to try at least once!"Reverie Siam: "Excellent"
We came here for 3 nights and stayed in the family suite. Beautiful room very clean and well vintage designed. Breakfast is the best a la carte. The staff is very friendly and most of them speak english. All in all, had a great time here and hope to come here again.Samanea Beach Resort: "Group Retreat"
We rented the entire resort. It was amazing how the staff catered to our vegetarian/vegan diets and allowed us to do team building, worships and meetings at the dining facility and/or rooftop at sunset. It was such a blessing for our group of 28 people (15 adults and 13 kids.....aged 16 and under). With a private beach, amazing pool, beautiful scenery from the pier and lovely rooms we could not have asked for a better four days! Plus we had a special private meal for the parents on the beach while the kids got pizza and smoothies. The management knew our needs ahead of time and did everything to make this such a wonderful time for us all! Plus the staff are so friendly and accommodating. What a joy to be able to find this best kept secret of Kep, Cambodia. You will not be disappointed with your stay. It is a beautiful, quiet place to rest and rejuvenate!Tugu Malang: "Beautifull java architecture"
"I stayed in Hotel Tugu malang for 2 days in last February, I stayed in one deluxe room in 2nd floor not the cheapest room in the Hotel. The room is very spacious,we had a welcome message and welcome drink also welcome fruit when we are check in,Bath room is very wide Bed is very nice also,I think Hotel Tugu malang is the cheapest Tugu in Indonesia especially if you are compared with Hotel Tugu Lombok or Bali. We also have dinner last night in the Hotel they have so many choices of food,I ordered some duck and my friend ordered sop Buntut Also,Breakfast also nice they have traditionall Indonesian or java food, they provide buffee and alacarte also for the breakfast, for me the Hotel is the best Hotel in Malang. "Villa Song: "You Have to Stay HERE!!"
"Apologies for the late review but I had to get around to writing a little something about this wonderful hotel. We stayed her in July for five nights. We arrived at about 9.45pm after a seven and a half hour flight feeling a bit 'blah' only to be told that the kitchen had remained open for us to order dinner. How cool was that? So our first night was spent by the river, looking over at Ho Chi Minh, thinking ' we make the right choice here'! Our entire stay was really faultless. Friendly staff, lovely food and fabulous pool staff made our first stop off in Vietnam a 100% success. We arranged our private tours to Chu Chi Tunnels and a day trip around the city through the hotel and they were super choices. I remember now, on this cold dark November evening in Dublin, how lucky we were to have visited the wonderful, lively, exciting city of Ho Chi Minh and if your lucky to plan a trip there, stay at the Villa Song, its absolutely perfect. Thank you to everyone there for making our stay so lovely,"Tugu Bali: "World Class Service, Tranquility in Paradise"
"We traveled to Bali last month to celebrate our anniversary and chose Tugu for it's authenticity and location within Bali. And, we were blown away by the level of service that Jenny and the amazing staff provided. The natural beauty of the property and the genuine hospitality of the Balinese people were far above our expectations. Tugu is an excellent choice for an authentic experience that is in one of the best spots in Bali for beaches, surfing, yoga, anything. Not nearly as crowded in Canggu as in other parts of the country. Additionally, we had a bad experience with the airlines on the way in to Bali and my wife was missing her luggage for days. The amazing team working the front desk went above and beyond calling the airport, arranging transportation and ultimately helping us her our luggage back. Thank you Tugu for a memorable stay, we will be back one day soon! Mark and Amber"Amata Lanna: "Wonderul, intimate, getaway!"
Gorgeous space. Very well decorated. The rooms are AMAZING, with wonderful furnishings. Very beautiful space that feels like a tropical resort even though you're in the middle of a big city! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful!Glenburn Tea Estate: "A hidden gem not to be missed"
A stay at the Glenburn tea estate is a truly unforgettable experience and we loved every minute of it. Whichever way you look from the delightful gardens or from either of the beautiful bungalows there is a wonderful vista, even when the mountains are shrouded in mist. Unfortunately for us, the weather was not at its best when we stayed in late March/early April, but we were lucky enough to be there for 5 nights and so we at least had 2 fabulous mornings when we were treated to the breathtaking views of the Kanchenjunga mountain range from the comfort of our room. Our room (Camelia) was fabulously spacious and beautifully decorated in English country house style with a lovely seating area, and French doors onto a small balcony with magnificent views. The bathroom was enormous with roll top bath and huge walk in shower. We did not see any of the other rooms but all other guests seemed just as impressed with theirs, and we gather the views are wonderful from each and every room. The food was delicious with an imaginative and varied menu and, despite initial reservations, we really rather enjoyed the communal dining in the evening. It was very interesting to meet such a variety of people from all over the world. I think perhaps my husband was a little bored on the last evening being the only man at a dining table full of rather verbose women! There was plenty to keep us amused during our 5 night stay with a visit to the tea factory, walks around the estate looking at the flowers, birds and butterflies, a lovely (though quite tiring) hike to the river camp with a tasty meal when we arrived, and a day trip into Darjeeling. We could have done a lot more but, after the hustle and bustle of Kolkata, and because the gardens were so idyllic, we relished in the opportunity to relax, reading, chatting, playing cards and drinking plenty of Glenburn First Flush tea! All of the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, and hats off to the multi-talented Nilima and Luna for being such lovely and well-informed guides, but also for running the shop and helping with the organisation of the staff welfare programme, amongst a multitude of other skills. A very big thank you to Jemima, Holly and all the staff for a truly memorable and delightful stay........ We hope we will return one day.Cuca: "Fabulous restaurant"
"Great restaurant in Jimbaran Bay. Very friendly (we were walking there and got offered a lift by the owner/chef who was driving by) with appropriately attentive staff. Interesting cocktail menu - I had a Sungria which came with frozen juices for ice cubes and was lovely. Food is tapas style although dishes are served consecutively rather than all at the same time, and are interesting and beautifully presented. The suggestion is 3 per person which we had, and this was sufficient for a main meal. The pulled pork and the butterfish with beetroot yoghurt are de...lish...ous! Dessert of THE best mint ice cream with chocolate. The chef ensured he spoke to all tables making the experience even more memorable. Meal for 2 with a cocktail each, glass of wine each, 6 tapas and 2 coffees came to about £80 so not the cheapest meal in Bali, but probably one day of the best."Glenburn Tea Estate: "10 Person Photo Group from the USA"
"Some of the reviews are missing the point. If you want to spend your time whining about the road, then don't go. On the other hand, if you think of each destination as an adventure and you want to experience a wonderful property having only eight rooms, with great food and warm hospitality, then go to Glen Burn. You will not be disappointed! Even though the tea factory was idle, it was still an interesting tour through the plant to see the equipment and to listen to the story of Glen Burn Walking the nearby villages with a Glen Burn guide was perfect! So many fantastic shots!!Because of a previous trip to Glen Burn, our I-Phone teacher (Karen Divine) said it was an absolute must destination being so close to Darjeeling. Stayed February 2017, traveled with friends"
