Have stayed here numerous times, never disappointed. Keep it up, Village House Team! Facilities are clean and spacious, quiet areas hidden away here and there for thinking or writing. Excellent food, and a pretty well-stocked recreational room. No children here, so the pool remains civilised at all times... Our stand-alone bungalow was delightful, decorated in local handicrafts. It had its own patio, where afternoon tea was served. Be sure to do the bird watching tour in the local area if you have time. "The rooms at Samanea are all villas decorated in traditional / colonial style, full of character and charm. My villa had an extremely comfortable king-sized bed, a lounge area with comfy sofa, and a full-sized desk for working. There was also a fully furnished patio that looked out toward the pool and the sea. The best part about the room was the bathroom. The toilet and sink area had a glass wall to the outdoor shower and soaker tub. A tall stone wall protected my privacy but I could bathe under the stars. Breakfast and all food at the restaurant was fantastic and they are in the process of changing their menu to include more vegan and vegetarian options, too! by far the most boutique hotel I've ever stayed - 8 rooms. Our two bedroom suite came with a fully equipped kitchen, living room and dining area. And each bedroom has a balcony. Since there are so few rooms, I hardly came across other guests. It felt like I was staying at a friend's house while on vacation, very cozy, comfortable and right at home. I love the mattress and the bedding. Slept like a baby every night. I tried most of the items on the breakfast menu- all tasted great. The front desk recommended massage in room and it was excellent! Next time I would like to book the entire hotel of 8 rooms and throw a party there with friends!Reverie Siam: "What a wonderful place!"
We spent my wive's birthday here and it was just wonderful. The love everything here - the ambience, the room, the food, the wine and the very friendly and highly skilld personal. Very vell organised trip on a relatively modern, but traditional boat. Excellent small cabins and super food (if too much). Village and floating market excursions very good. Great staff and the ever efficient guide 'An' organises you with military precision.The Island Lodge: "A SMALL PARADIS"
It was the end of our trip and we did not have much time. Nevertheless, we wanted to see the Mekong Delta. After some Internet research, I wanted to come to this lodge. In addition, it was not too far from HCMC. They sent a car. When you arrive, you wonder where you are. And you discover the lodge: an incredible location along the Mekong (private jetty), an incredible design with beautiful objects everywhere. gorgeous room with a view ... wonderful, warm pool. Attentive staff. Kitchen (in Vietnamese or French choice) delicious. We did a fantastic treatment at Spa. There are lots of activities on offer. We opted for the tour of the island next to bicycle and boat. It was beautiful and enjoyable. Anyway, congratulations to Michel and Françoise have created this little corner of dreams where everything is perfect, for which we have only one regret: not to stay longer. I almost don't want to write this review, as I loved Hotel Tugu so much, I want to keep it to myself! From the exquisite location, exotic and beautiful decor and tastefully decorated rooms, attentive staff and lovely private beach - Tugu is a top-notch Hotel. I also appreciated that Tugu feels very private, as it is a large property with two large pools and an expansive beach front allowing one to feel like they are on a private getaway. I would return to Tugu tomorrow if I could. The staff are also top-notch and attentive and seem to really enjoy working at the hotel.
