Tugu Bali: "Quiet and Quixotic"

Review by: Lyndy S | Source: Trip Advisor
Happy greeting at the airport and then in true Bali fashion a journey of faith to get to your hotel, through by roads and back roads but was that faith rewarded!! Entering the Tugu you enter old magical Bali and it remains that way for your whole stay. Our suite, while expensive was somewhere we could hang out most of the day if we chose with our own little garden and swimming pool. The hotel gardens are beautiful during the day and enchantingl at night. The staff were, without exception, charming and helpful and yoga and the spa a real treat. Loved the food and had the majority of our meals in the hotel. Don't all rush as we want to go back when we can!!

Rachamankha: "Heavenly stay"

Review by: extrapagespassport | Source: Trip Advisor
"This ranks as one of our family's favorite hotel stays. Rachamankha is a gorgeous, tranquil oasis that's well located in Chiang Mai. The property is large for the middle of town, artfully filled (in a minimalist way) with antiques and good attention to detail. We loved the pool (so welcome when temperatures go above 100°) and the library. It was near capacity but it always felt uncrowded and quiet. The staff are lovely and helpful. Rooms are large and well appointed (but under air-conditioned - they could use more powerful units, and better bathroom amenities befitting a property of this type.) Breakfast is wonderful, made to order and set in a perfect, lovely courtyard. We're already planning to return. Stayed March 2017, traveled with family"

Rachamankha: "Heaven"

New to Thailand, we could not have wished for a better hotel. Elegant without being pretentious, staff so friendly and accommodating, food delicious and reasonably priced - breakfast was fabulous. Chiang Mai is so charming and 3 days/nights was not enough, we were sad to leave and hope to return one day.

Dewakan: "Great Birthday Treat!"

Review by: MiaSurin | Source: Trip Advisor
"Enjoyed every course served with great service. I was one happy birthday girl. It was exciting to wait and see how each dish was served, and all were creatively made. Completely different from anything I have ever eaten before, and would definitely love to go back! One thing though, the ambience doesnt give a fine dining feeling....I am sure that can be worked on."

Tugu Lombok: "Amazing"

Review by: Leesa H | Source: Trip Advisor
"My husband and 10 yr daughter visited this hotel for 5 days in April 2016. We arrived by boat on the shores of the hotel's beach. Our first impression was complete joy. The hotel manager was down to meet our boat with in moments. 'Elly', the manager, greeted us with a big smile and gracious welcome. They took our bags and Elly led us to the beautiful pool side restaurant where we enjoyed a complimentary cold drink and cold towells (scented with Jasmin). She told us all about the hotel and gave us a quick orientation. We were quickly taken by the gorgeous artifacts & structures surrounding the hotel grounds. Our room was gorgeous. The ceilings were high. The bathroom was well stocked with everytjing we needed. They had set up a separate, lovely bed for our daughter. The rooms had all the comforts you could require - stocked fridge, mosquito lotion and nets, earplugs for the early morning Muslim prayers ( which I love btw!) The hotel supplied kayaks and snorkeling gear (through we brought our own). The snorkeling was great here. The water was crystal clear and blue. The food here is incredible. Some of the best Indonesian food we've had anywhere. The drinks we all freshly mottled and cold! The art and acitecture of the entire hotel is memorizing. The staff was all very happy and very friendly, and always available. Elly organized an incredible waterfall hike to Mnt Rinjani for us. This was a highlight of our 6 week stay in Indonesia. The hotel's beaches are full of treasures from the sea. I even found an unbroken urchin shell. There are 2 amazing pools. Both very clean and cool. The entire experience of our stay at Tugu in Lombock was nothing short of wonderful. We hope to return there one day. We loved Tugu!!"

MesaStila: "Colonial-era dream"

Review by: sunnyside1984 | Source: Trip Advisor
This place is probably the most beautiful original place where we stayed in Indonesia. The location is just wonderful, surrounded by volcanoes and the forest, the villages around are also nice and authentic. We were based here while visiting the temples in central Java and although you need a car it's so worth it! We had booked one of their plantation villas but they upgraded us to a bigger room which was basically a house with a wonderful wooden terrace overlooking the jungle. The decor is simply amazing, it includes some antiques and follow the traditional Java style. The whole complex has been carefully renovated so that it maintains its Colonial era character and it truly does. We also had a nice walk in their coffee plantation and enjoyed the restaurant. The spa is really something else, not cheap but absolute luxury, definitely worth trying! We also found the service outstanding in every aspect, including room service. Wi-fi was also working well in the room.

Amata Lanna: "BEAUTIFUL JEWEL IN CHIANG MAI"

Small boutique hotel near the old town. Comfortable beds with quality linens. Large bathroom with shower & separate tub. Staff is very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was included. I would definitely stay here again.

The Island Lodge: "Magic on the Mekong"

Review by: Paul M | Source: tripadvisor.com
What a surprise, much better than it shows on its website and booking search engines. A touch of casual elegance right on the river. French influences everywhere as you'd expect with French owners, very classy open air restaurant and lounge area facing the pool and river on one side and the garden and villas on the other. Rooms above are bright, airy and extremely pleasant. The food is great, although mostly western style. There's lots to do - cycling and boat trips, visits to local markets etc. Only two hours drive from HCMC (the hotel will arrange a car) it's a great escape from the city - a must visit for people seeking respite from the big smoke.

Tugu Bali: "One of the best"

Review by: Julie M | Source: Trip Advisor
Beautiful gardens, luxurious accommodation, out of this world lobby featuring antiques and art collection. However, the best of this hotel is the service. I unfortunately became seriously ill from a previous dining experience at another hotel whilst in Bali. Jenny the Manager (and her amazing staff) went above and beyond to assist my husband and I. Jenny personally escorted us to an international hospital where I needed to stay. Jenny and her staff ensured my husband was ok in my absence and provided daily transport to the hospital and assisted with organising my travel insurance. Jenny...I cant thank you and your team enough. You should be so proud of your beautiful hotel but also of your amazing team. I cant wait to come back and actually eat some of the food (my husband said the Nasi Goreng was the best he ate in Bali!). Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Reverie Siam: "Outstanding! Loved everything about it"

Review by: FlaviaPacheco | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Amazing service, big and quiet rooms, lots of green, great swimmingpools, beautiful decor, best restaurant in town, great price. This hotel is a hidden gem. They even offer local mobile phones for guests to take when going to town, so they can call the hotel for sending a driver to pick them up. I am 100% happy with this hotel. I highly recommend it."
