Tugu Lombok: "Very Polite Staff and Excellence Service"
Hotel Tugu Lombok is located near Bangsal port (port from Lombok island to Gili islands). Firstly, I came to hotel just for asking their room rates since I already knew their famous unique hotel in Malang. Surprisingly, their staffs are very polite and informative giving explanation about their room types and also the rate. They also let me and my family to walk around hotel and saw several rooms. Finally we took a rest in their restaurant while enjoying some fresh juices and pizza. Although we didn't stay for this moment, but I will recommend this hotel for their excellence service, friendliness and polite staffs.Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "What a lovely stay"
Very nice small resort in a beautiful and preserved site, including a direct access to a magnificent beach. The bungalows are lovely and convenient, with their private pool and outer lounge. The staff and management are both discreet and efficient, always available. Exquisite cuisine too, we didn't expect such high-quality. "The boat (Bassac II) was just fabulous. We travelled at Tet, so the activities were slightly different than usual, but Tuch (spelling?) did a fantastic job. The village walk was surprisingly fun - the kids (we travelled with an 8 and 6 year old) loved it - and even ate the fruit at the end - a miracle! The rooms are so sweet. The food was lovely, and plentiful! The staff were all nice -but special shout out to Tuch. Engaged and entertaining, and knowledgeable. The boat has beautiful detail. The pace on the boat is very relaxed. We absolutely loved it. I recommend for people who enjoy relaxed, informal, but engaged service; good honest food; small groups; and who are interested in seeing some of the Mekong."Tugu Bali: "Beautiful property"
"My wife and I stayed in four different Bali hotels, and this was our favorite. It all starts with the staff. They are all so helpful and go out of their way to get you anything you need. The rooms were large, clean, provided any toiletries you may need. Fruit basket and water bottles were refilled daily. Good strong wi-fi in the rooms and all over the large property. Room was air conditioned, which was important to us. Also, it was convenient that there were no major issues with bugs or mosquitoes. It seems like the hospital sprays weekly to keep them away. The pool area is very serene. They also have some lounge chairs on an elevated area overlooking the beach. Even though the hotel is right next to the beach, it does not provide any chairs right on the sand of the beach. It has a very tight path from the lounge chairs to the beach, but that path could definitely be upgraded. Location is fantastic as it is within walking distance of numerous restaurants, cafes, shopping, and beach side bars."Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Very educational and interesting"
"Joined one of three conducted tours of the mansion available. The guide, Ben is simply the best I have ever come across. He speaks very well. Very informative and interesting background stories relating to the life of Cheong Fatt Tze and the life of others living in this mansion before it becomes what it is today. Worth every second of the two hours spent there. Could have been even better if more artifacts of the early days are on display. If your looking for a place outside Chiang Mai with excellent hospitality, stunning views, luxury villa and a place to really kick back and unwind then Michael's place is the one. "We stayed at village house for 3 night for the ester week end. First the place is charming, tastily decorated and the room and bathroom are really clean. But the second point and what made this stay so great was the service and the staff! A big thank you to Alifa, Flora and Eleesa for taking such a good care of us! Great advice and help to visit around Santubong village and some talk about the culture of Borneo. And a big congrats to the Chef (that call him just a cook, you should not when you are serving a 8 course menu ...) really talented and worth paying more than the Food court few km from the hotel (by the way run away from damai beach resort). So to sum up, definitely a place that i recommend 100%, great for a week end gateway from Singapore or as a step into your travel in Asia! "4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Very Unique and Very Amazing"
Stop here for two nights as part of a touring holiday around Cambodia. A total amazing place in a very unique location. Worth every single minute of a long six hours journey. Quiet and relaxing place to get away from it all. Also well worth a visit to the Tatai Water Fall further up or down river depending on time of the day as the river flow either directions! This is a rather special place with a unique atmosphere. Where else would you find yourself sitting by a moonlit lotus pond listening to frogs croaking while enjoying a superb meal? The service was excellent and the food delicious. It's not the cheapest meal you will have in Laos, but an experience definitely well worth paying for and you would pay a great deal more for this quality of food and ambience in the UK.Amata Lanna: "Great boutique hotel"
My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights. We loved the personal experience of staying in a smaller, boutique-style hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and we were always greeted with a smile. The room was large, traditional Lanna style with a very spacious bathroom. The daily breakfast was a fairly small selection but delicious and still something for everyone (cereal, toast, eggs, bacon, Asian-style porridge etc). We would definitely recommend staying here.
