Rachamankha: "Great spot in Chiang Mai"

Review by: AndyLosAltos | Source: Trip Advisor
"The Rachmanka is a small, beautiful, relaxing spot in the middle of bustling Chiang Mai. It's walking distance to the temples, night markets and restaurants, yet quiet and serene once you enter the gates. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, the pool a perfect temperature and the breakfast in the restaurant (included in the rate) was fantastic. They make great lattes. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the New Year's Eve party was amazing! The only suggestions I'd make to the management (which other reviewers have also made) are: 1) Station a bell clerk out front so that when guests arrive someone is there to help them with their bags and show them where to check in. It's quite confusing to find the front desk as it's around the corner from the courtyard entrance. There's a bell clerk sitting at the front desk, but he should be sitting out front, greeting guests. 2) The hotel needs a concierge. The front desk staff were friendly and nice, and answered questions well, but it would have been nice to have one person on staff responsible for helping with trip and restaurant reservations. We were never sure who to ask for help with those things. Those two things aside, our experience was great, and we'd definitely stay there again vs. one of the high rise or away from town hotels."

Jing’s Residence: "Beautiful hotel in an ancient Chinese walled city"

Review by: Helen G | Source: Trip Advisor
Loved Pingyao and loved this beautiful hotel. From our gorgeous room with courtyard view to the incredibly attentive staff, our stay here was perfect. It rained a lot during our stay, but we spent a great morning making noodles in a cookery class with Henry (who was very patient), and the beef noodle soup with pickled vegetables for breakfast was one of the best dishes we had in China.

Maduzi Hotel: "Beautiful, serene hotel with lovely attention to detail"

Review by: Kitty L | Source: Trip Advisor
"We were pointed towards 'small luxury hotels of the world' and found this little charmer. By comparison to a lot of the other hotels on the site, it was relatively inexpensive at just under £100 for the night. The welcome was lovely, a genuine welcome drink from a selection (including alcohol - yay) and a strict rule of no tipping. The lobby is beautifully appointed with great attention to detail, from the sumptuous sofas to the endless array of Asian teapots. The room itself is gorgeous, with a GINORMOUS bed which could easily sleep around 27 good friends, a fabulous infinity jacuzzi bath and separate large dressing area and luggage storage. I would HIGHLY recommend this place and likely stay again. Stayed April 2017"

Cuca: "Hier moet moet MOET je naartoe!"

Review by: Kirsten v | Source: Trip Advisor

Tugu Bali: "Romantic getaway"

Review by: Maggie M | Source: Trip Advisor
"We were so impressed with everything at Tugu, Bali. Jenny and the team made us so welcome and the service throughout our stay was excellent. The Cultural Evening was an insight into the traditional Balinese culture, the tour of the antiques and artwork around the hotel was really interesting and the romantic bed picnic was a unique dining experience, really memorable. Thanks to all the team for everything. We hope to return soon. Kind regards, Maggie and Kieran Tangerang."

Locavore: "Another amazing culinary experience in the best restaurant in Bali"

Review by: Viclah | Source: Trip Advisor
I had another amazing meal, 7 courses, with loads and loads of surprising, creative, interesting and very tasty morsels both at the beginning of the meal and around the dessert course. Presentation is a marvel. As usual I had the "carnivore option," but my two friends opted for the "plant-based option." All of us were pleased beyond expectations. I love oak-otak and Locavore's version, with the duck egg aioli (I guess that is what I would call it) was perhaps the star of my meal, though the old favorite--Into the Sawah--of course was delicious. The special Locavore tomato "soup" was, as always, spectacular. And i love the "freebie" cassava roti too. All seven courses were. My friends raved about their veg tasting menu. And I must admit I was a bit disappointed that I did not choice to have the Banana Blossom. This must become, like Into the Sawah, a main stay of the Locavore team. Service was super friendly and professional. Cannot recommend Locavore highly enough.

Muang La Lodge: "A little peace of paradise in northern Laos"

Review by: npelzer | Source: Trip Advisor
It takes a bit of effort to get there, but its secludeness is also part of its charm. The staff of this beautiful resort with only ten rooms does everything to make your stay pleasant and memorable. There are no strict rules, except for enjoying yourself as much as possible. If you would like to stay in a tranquil, beautiful and comfortable resort and value quality over quantity, this is the place to be. Especially the five course dinner which combines the best of French and Asian cuisine is worth mentioning. If you prefer an easy getaway with all standard 5-star hotel facilities and an all-you-can-eat buffet, this is not the place for you.

Sandat Glamping Tents: "Incredible experience"

Review by: LucyC588 | Source: Trip Advisor
During the New Year break my boyfriend and I stayed at Sandat Glamping Tents for 2 nights. We currently live in Singapore and although it wasn't our first trip to Bali it was our first visit to Ubud. On arrival we were instantly blown away by what Sandat had to offer. The architecture is just incredible! We stayed in Lumbung Legong and I can honestly say it was the best hotel room I have ever stayed in. There was so much attention to detail and the place was spotlessly clean. Not only is the bedroom spacious and comfortable but you also get a large area downstairs to lounge around in or escape the sun in the afternoons. It is also very private. The bathroom is outside which makes for a wonderful and unique experience. Breakfast was fantastic (and I am very picky!) and we enjoyed a wonderful massage one afternoon by our room. The best thing about the whole experience is that you really feel like you are in paradise. The staff don't disturb you or fuss over you yet they cater for all your needs. It's a small resort therefore you feel extremely well looked after (...) A truly incredible and unique experience. I can't wait to go back in a few weeks!
