Tugu Bali: "Hidden gem in Canggu"

Review by: Shawn W | Source: Trip Advisor
Hotel Tugu is a magical place, with an amazing location and fantastic decor / atmosphere. This is the perfect place for couples looking for a few days of quiet and calm. We enjoyed a moonlit dinner at Tugu's beachfront garden and also had a fun cooking class with Daisy! Highly recommend making Tugu a part of your Bali trip!

Supanniga Eating Room: "Excellent Isan food"

Review by: Thierry_Beijing | Source: Trip Advisor
"Here is a place to go to enjoy real Isan Thai food. We have been there several times already and tried many different dishes. All are freshly made, tasty, not too spicy if you do not forget to mention and nicely presented ... A very good option if you want to discover and change from other traditional Thai food. Very good service too!"

Sanak Retreat Bali: "perfect for relaxing"

Review by: ErikaRyanM | Source: Trip Advisor
This retreat was so dreamy. The room is stunning, with the option to open up the whole room with sliding glass doors. Food was very good. We did the trek to a waterfall with Gusti ( our guide). He was so lovely, very smiley and friendly. He explained the local work and introduced us to the local people. We were delighted to have such a great tour guide. We also did a spa treatment, I have to say it was the best massage in Bali. This Retreat is surrounded by nature. It is so charming, I would recommend for light sleepers to bring ear plugs. The sound of frogs, birds and the river was very peaceful.

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Unforgettable Paradise!!!!"

Review by: Ryan P | Source: tripadvisor.com
"What a magical place this is, after 5 hour drive from Phnom Penh and 30 minutes boat ride we arrived to 4 rivers and was welcome by Luiz with welcome drinks and fresh cold towels after a long journey who explained that we were the only ones there for the night. Just my luck as I wanted to propose to my girlfriend. Anna at 4 rivers had suggested all ideas for the perfect proposal plan. On the night we arrived we went to see the fireflies, once we headed back to the tents there was candles and red carpet into the tent and there was the perfect setting for my proposal.(...) Everything exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived to the day we left, the staff are always smiling, very friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed. The entire setting is a paradise floating on a river with well-equipped tent and great views of the river. We only had 2 nights here on this amazing place but it was the best 2 nights ever which we’ll never forget."

Satri House: "Beautiful hotel – loved our four nights at Satri House"

Review by: Michelle L | Source: Trip Advisor
"I loved Satri House - the rooms and public areas are stunning. I loved the antiques and art work and the gardens. It felt like an exquisitely restored home rather than a hotel. The rooms are dark, and the floors do creak (upstairs), but this is because the hotel is in an old house. I wanted to move in. I also thought the staff were lovely and I liked the location. It was in a quiet area away from the main tourist streets, but a very short walk to them. Stayed January 2017, traveled with family"

Glenburn Tea Estate: "Paradise!"

Review by: Charlotte H | Source: Trip Advisor
We had been told that Glenburn was a special place by others that had stayed, but that goes a little way to describe the experience that myself and my partner had... it's a truly magical destination. Our room Rangeet was stunning, as is the rest of the estate, so beautifully maintained by the meticulous staff and gardeners. We loved the communal dinners, especially the tea themed night which was extremely tasty. The staff throughout our stay were always very helpful and friendly, there is always someone around too. We decided to take the hike down to the river and have lunch there, which was beautiful, as again the food exceptional! I would also really recommend having a massage, one of the best I have ever had... We were lucky enough to see an extraordinary sunset one evening, I don't think there can be another view like it anywhere in Darjeeling. The whole place, and our stay felt so serene and relaxed that a special shout out must go to Jemima and Holly who manage the place and are obviously making sure things run so smoothly - thanks you two! My only complaint would be the road, lucky for Glenburn they have some of the best drivers in the world! Can't wait to go back.

The Cabochon Hotel: "Great thai food in an amazing retro location"

Review by: EHereandThere | Source: Trip Advisor
"The restaurant is settled in a white house - hotel at the end of Soi 41. All menu is based on small portions (non as small as tapas but that allow you to try more dishes from menu, based on the isaan northern cuisine. Fish was very good and tender, we had a seabass and a squid, plus papaya salad (typical isaan) was amazing as well. beyond that we had some chicken in coconut milk, grilled chicken and vegetables. Prices are also fair enough to allow you to take more than one or two dishes per person. (160-400 thb depending on the ingredients)"

Amata Lanna: "Great cozy stay"

Review by: Kwiatek69 | Source: Trip Advisor
Had a wonderful stay at Amata Lanna. We were greeted with excellent service with many smiles. We felt very comfortable and cozy here. Only 12 rooms ensure a boutique experience. It seemed very authentic. Rather than staying directly in Old City, we opted to stay here for a less touristy feel. Short walks (2 blocks) put you at the edge of the old town- where you can find restaurants, massage, laundry, pharmacy, 7-11, etc. Also within 2 blocks is the Anantara hotel which is very upscale (pricey), but has a great “Secret Service” bar and restaurant that we indulged in. Also, the night market is a must see and only 2 blocks as well.

Rachamankha: "Best stay in Chiang Mai"

Review by: liezl799 | Source: Trip Advisor
"This was one of the most peaceful hotels that I have ever stayed in, it feels like a retreat where the soul is nourished away from the everyday hustle and bustle. The architecture, gardens and decor are amazing. In the morning someone comes to cut the grass with a pair of garden scissors instead of a lawnmower so the peace is just never disturbed. We had lovely meals in the restaurant and enjoyed every send of our visit and we will visit Thailand again for the third time just to stay in this hotel again."

Cuisine Wat Damnak: "6 course vegetarian menu for $26 — reserve way in advance"

Review by: Hope K | Source: Trip Advisor
What a treat for vegetarians to enjoy a set menu at a fine dining establishment. We reserved way in advance and even then could not get the date we wanted (my birthday). Plan ahead. Food and service were excellent.
