Villa Song Saigon: "Enjoyable Stay"
Our stay at Villa Song was a wonderful experience. Our room was beautiful with an excellent view of the river. The food was very good along with their service. The hotel provides a convenient boat ride to the city which only takes about 10 minutes.Dewakan: "This is the best, most innovative restaurant in Malaysia"
If there should be a Michelin Star Restaurant in Malaysia. it will be Dewakan. Kudos to the team for a great effort and wonderful food.Heritage Suites Hotel: "7 nights with an attentive staff in a lovely property"
The hotel is a bit out of the way but a short tuk tuk ride you are in town. We stayed in the saffron suite. Lovely room, very large, great air conditioning. Staff is very kind and attentive. If you ask for anything they respond quickly. I was ill for a couple of days during my trip and they kept checking on me, asking my wife if I was getting better, bringing extra water to the room. My only complaint was the mattress was not very comfortable. Everything else was perfect.Maison Polanka: "Wonderful place to stay"
We stayed at Polanka in early April and it was wonderful. All of us (2 adults, 2 boys 11 & 15) loved it. Julie & Kathy helped us arrange everything (guides, tickets to the Circus, cooking lessons) and had great suggestions for shopping & places to eat. The property is an oasis of calm; the food is fantastic (the chef who gave my son & I our cooking lesson is marvelous); and the swimming pool is the perfect antidote to hours of walking through the temples. The owners of the hotel are long-time supporters of local artists and the entire property shows a deep connection to the local community. We can't wait to go back. The River Resort: "Mekong glorious"
"We got upgraded for being the first Taiwanese visitors in its much venerated history (lol) and the river view is so very good, even a terrible photographer could shoot a photo with hues like Apocalypse Now or King Kong. Food is actually unexpectedly good, all the staff are wonderful people, I could not come up with anything to complain except that it's kinda weird with hotel this big and visitors this scarce, a bit ""Get Out"" as my friends and I had consensus upon."Manda De Laos: "Traditional Laos food in wonderful setting"
Dinner here, The setting is wonderful with lily ponds and palms and mood lighting. Fantastic Lao cocktails followed by traditional food. All wonderful and at a reasonable price for those used to eating out in equivalent places in UK The hospitality was outstandingTugu Bali: "Romantic 10 year anniversary celebration"
"This was the perfect place to have a night away from our 5 year old to celebrate our 10 year anniversary! We felt like we were a million miles away in the serene setting provided by the hotel. This is a must for any trip to Bali! The cultural night on Thursday adds such a special touch to our evening! "Dewakan: "Well paced degustation menu, creative"
My husband and I took an American guest to Dewakan. We chose the 11 course tasting menu. I was looking forwards to being delighted, and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is quiet, and comfortable and we were able to enjoy each course and exchange views on the myriad of tastes exploding in our mouths. I especially loved the Yoghurt & Roselle, which I thought was so well done since each taste emerged one after another. The explanation given by the maitre d' on the ingredients and how to eat each dish added to the enjoyment of the evening. It was easy to converse, given the wonderful presentation. I did not care too much for the duck, which although delicious, was a little rich for my preference. The red snapper was very good, and a little less saltiness may have brought it up to the level of sublime. Anyway, we had a wonderful evening and enjoyed the experience tremendously!Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Blissful stay"
"This is a straight five star stay with lovely accommodation in scattered lodges around the grounds, bird watching and treks available, and a wonderful veranda to sit and look at the Himalayas (if they are clear of mist....) We had mosquito nets (not actually needed) over our beds and hot water bottles can be requested! The food and hospitality are excellent. The staff are permanently on their toes. We loved our little lodge so much we could have just sat in there all day listening to and watching the birds. A local lady came and did a Reiki massage in the room. Bliss Stayed April 2017, traveled with friends"Mume: "Dinner with Friends"
It looks private from outside, foods are delicious and creative. Not that much choice but delicious. It is worth to try.
