Reverie Siam: "Four days in Pay"
Hi I would like to tell you just to book as you will not be disappointed with this hotel. We could of stopped forever in the villa next to the river. The food is excellent and we ate there quite a lot. The only problem I have with my entire stay is that there was not more of a Thai cuisine on the menu. Apart from that absolutely nothing whatsoever to mention. We will be back for a couple of weeks next time. Very helpful staff to.The Island Lodge: "A charming adress in Mekong"
After a vibrant week end in Saigon, the island lodge is the perfect place to be : stunning view on the mekong river, just wildness around, an amazing lodge with only 12 bedrooms, lovely decorated in the spirit of the old 'indochine', superb bathroom and a terrace on the river to relax. The swimming pool is beautiful, cristal clear, and you can enjoy a jacuzzi, a sauna and also a typical spa for great vietnamese massages. Michel and Francoise, the french owners will ensure that everything is made for you with a true sign of details and perfection. If you want to pick a unique adress along the Mekong, the island lodge is the place to be ! We left by boat to Cai be and the lodge had organized a nice pack lunch on the boat....what a pleasure !Rahai'i Pangun Wildlife River Cruises: "We had a super time on this river cruise — don’t miss it"
Great boat with plenty of room, great staff and trip leader and very interesting way to see orangutans. In addition to seeing these interesting animals, we also had two very interesting village tours and went to the BOSF foundation to learn more about their goal of saving as many orangutans and other endangered animals (and their habitats) as possible. We think this trip was the highlight of our trip to Borneo! The Village House: "Gorgeous hotel!"
"Such a beautiful hotel! So incredibly relaxing to spend time here. We loved the hammocks and reclining chairs with the view of the pool. The gardens are lovely, and the decor is really interesting. Nice rooms too! The whole place is romantic, relaxing, dreamy. The eight course ""Taste of Borneo"" was a memorable last night in this beautiful oasis. We booked a sunset wetlands tour. Gorgeous sunset skies, everything still and peaceful. We saw dolphins and proboscis monkeys, and after dark, spooky crocodiles, and an abundance of fireflies. Also arranged by the hotel, we went to the nearby cultural village. We'd cynically expected a Disneyfication but it was wonderful and very interesting. Stayed March 2017, traveled with friends"Reverie Siam: "Loving it"
"The hotel has a very beautiful ground. Everything were just amazing. Nice restaurant, unique room with jacuzzi, great pools, friendly staffs. Everything was cater to my request. I really feel I was well taken care off. I dare to say that this is probably the best hotel in pai. It's close to town yet far enough to enjoy some quiet moment. The villa 9 I had was located along the pai river. The view is amazing. The rate is high, but surely worth every penny for special occasion. Yes, at night there might be some noises and music from drinking places beyond the bank. But they stop after 10pm. It's not a problem if you close the door. But then you will not enjoy the crisp fresh air during the winter. Some mosquitoes flying in from outside, but strangely, they seem doesn't bite. I am blood type O, and I am doing fine! Haha... not sure if it's because it winter month. For rural area like pai, this is definitely a gem! Stayed February 2017, traveled solo"Maduzi Hotel: "Wonderful Stay"
I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this most friendly hotel. In effect, I stayed here to join the Half Marathon Running event (with the Starting Point at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre). The hotel took note of this special purpose and provided me with such a great upgraded room. Despite wonderful care, staff members refused to take tips. I had lunch with my running mates at this hotel after finishing the running event. The French food was really terrific and did not cost as much as usually expected of a top-quality hotel like this. Million thanks for all the wonderful services. I certainly plan to come back. From Associate Professor Dr. Pinai Nanakorn, Faculty of Law, Thammasat UniversityGolden Buddha Beach Resort: "Paradise"
"This is Thailand's best kept secret. Charming and secluded and really really well run by Massi, the hotel manager. We were in heaven and are dreaming about our next visit. No tvs, no air conditioning, running water that smells a little due to minerals, but none of it matters when you are at the golden Buddha because you are drawn into a Robison Crusoe fantasy that you seldom find anywhere these days. Lots of nature and very little to do except enjoy the surroundings. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"Jings-residence: "Feeling Welcome In Beauttiful Surroundings"
Jing's Residence in the charming old town of Pingyao is one of a kind. It has all the attributes one wishes a hotel would possess, but rarely encounters in real life. For one thing, I was struck by the extremely appealing aesthetics of the compound, with its inner courtyards, its beautiful rooms/suites with all the amenities one would desire, its upstairs library with computers, its excellent restaurant... It is, however, the atmosphere of the place, the way you feel welcome and the sense that the staff cares about your well-being that really makes Jing's Residence such a unique and pleasing experience. My only regret is that, because of our tight schedule, we could not stay a few extra days and imbibe more of this relaxing, yet invigorating atmosphere.SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Best Restaurant in Yangun"
What a lovely place on earth. The food is outstanding and the view is extraordinary. The service is excellent and the host really really lovely. Thanks for the great evenings at your dream place.Sukoon Houseboat: "Luxury meets nature"
I cannot tell you how nice my stay at Sukoon was! The staff was excellent headed by Vishal and service staff by Babu. The location of the boat is perfect too. A shuttle motorised shikara takes you from the promenade to the houseboat [HB] and you can come and go whenever you wish if you fancy a walk on the promenade. The rooms are generously sized and the bathrooms can put some hotels to shame! :-) The food was excellent too and the best part was the peace and quiet you can expect here. The breakfast on the terrace was a treat :-) Wifi! Can you believe that and at no extra cost. You can spend a nice lazy noon on the terrace on the lounger reading a book and enjoy your time here. I loved it :-)
