Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Excellent experience"

Overall it's a very wonderful experience. The vintage look, traditional music playing in the room, Nyonya snacks, breakfast and the service deserve good reputation. I will definitely visit it again in my next tri to Penang.

The Governor’s House: "Perfect Bolthole"

"Beautiful colonial boutique hotel. Smiling charming staff, eager to please. Lovely small intimate dining room with excellent food. Would definitely recommend having dinner here. Our trip was for our 40th wedding anniversary, and 'Happy 40th wedding anniversary' was spelt out in flower petals across our bed...a great touch! Bedroom was charming, and bathroom was clean, stylish and well presented. It's easy to hire a ride into city centre and water front to see the sights. A perfect hideaway hotel, good value and highly recommended."

Villa Song Saigon: "Top Boutique Hotel"

Our trip to Vietnam concluded with three nights at the Villa Song a delightful French Colonial Villa converted into a five star hotel situated next to the river. Everything about this hotel oozes class and the staff, food and accommodation were excellent. The hotel has its own motor launch which we took advantage of to visit the floating temple, a great experience and not to be missed, add to that the complementary shuttle service to the centre of Saigon, the free mini bar and breakfast availability at any time of the day and really I can't imagine there is a better place to stay if visiting Saigon

Samanea Beach Resort: "Peaceful, Green, Amazing Resort"

"Here is my review after my 2days, 1 night stay: Tuk-Tuk Pick Up =============== It was hard to estimated what time I will arrived in Kep from Sihanoukville. My transportation got delayed arrived in Kep, as I already mentioned my arrival time with the resort, they already had the tuktuk waiting for me at the bus/van station in Kep. I also informed that I will be delayed for an hour. When I arrived at the station, I was greeted by my tuktuk to bring me to the resort, I was really surprise he still waiting for me patiently despite of the delay. He was friendly. Journey from bus station to the resort, took about 3-4 minutes. Check-in / Lobby ================= When arrived at the resort, I was greet by the bell staff and he helped me with my luggage. It was really beautiful resort from the first impression I stepped out from the tuktuk. It is very green and the surrounding just calm and very relaxing. Myself then checked-in, it was smooth,and the reception is an open space. Nothing much, and they have like a lounge with a small library. It was good. Just for your info, here, there are only 12 villas, so it's a little privacy. After checked-in, the bell staffs helped me with my luggage and guide me to my villa. Deluxe Double Villa =================== When I arrived at my villa, it was breathtakingly gorgeous and spacious. The bed is super amazing and very comfortable and including the mosquito nett. It is like I am ready for my honeymoon, unfortunately I was here single. What I love is when I pull the blind of my glass window, and the green view pop up. It was really relaxing when you are on your bed while surrounded with the serene view. The TV area also great with with a big sofa. I love the office table area as here is where I done all my worked. If you can see, there are big fans near the office table as the room too spacious, the AC might not very cold. The drawer and cupboard also big. Inside they provided the insect spray as if you want to get rid of mosquitoes inside your villa. As its surrounded by the garden, some of mosquitoes might lost to your villa. Open Bathroom ============== What I love the most about this villa, its offering open bathroom. The bathroom is really huge. There are 3 ways to have your shower, first normal shower rain, second using the water big vase where you need to use traditional coconut dipper. And other one, of course the bathtub. The shower area is surrounded by the green plant and it is quiet relaxing when you are taking the dip in the bathtub, and enjoying the warm bath. But to be honest, it is quiet challenging to use the toilet in the middle of the night when you are staying alone. Breakfast ========= As for the breakfast, there are few menus you can choose. So I chose pancake, I also mentioned I do want any meat as they also offered bacon as a side dish. The waiter seems understand what I said, unfortunately, when my pancake arrived, it accompanied with bacon. So I asked them to remove the bacon and changing the new plate. So, the waiters here, a little bit struggle to understand English. As per photo, that's all my breakfast. Swimming Pool ============= Even this resort only offered 12 villas, but they have really huge swimming pool. You can do a view olympic lapse here if you want to. Unfortunately, I requested towel a few times with the staffs at the restaurant, but still I did not get any towel. At last, I backed to my villa in wet. In my opinion, their staffs need a lot to improve with communication skill and their services, as this resort, the guest is not as many as city hotel, if one person at one time, they can't handle, I am not very sure how they handle a large group. Hoping they can improve from time to time as the resort is amazing. Beach ====== Like I mentioned earlier, here is the only one resort with their own beach. You can enjoy the sea and view with a little privacy away from the touristic area. At the beach, there is barbecue facilities provided and massage hut, where you can have your massage at the beach with a sea view. The bonus is, here you can enjoy very beautiful sunset. And they have very long wooden bridge, I think is about 200m. It is really cool, reminded me with U Bein bridge in Mandalay, Myanmar. Location ======== It is about 3 minutes tuk tuk ride from bus station or Crab Market area, with the fare of 3USD. It's really a long walk from Crab Market (2km), but you can use the bicycle from the resort. At night, the road to the resort is really dark. Avoid to use bicycle or walk at the main road at night. Conclusion =========== Samanea Beach Resort is a little gems in Kep, Cambodia. If you are looking for a privacy, and romantic trips or family gateway, here is the best place for you! I would love to stay here again, but next time with my love one."

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Relax in luxury"

"From the moment you enter this resort you start to relax. The resort is well designed so you feel very secluded from other guests. We had a seaview room which was very comfortable. It was spacious and had a nice sit out area which was shaded at all times. The pool is magical with great views over the sea. We stayed for 4 nights and for most of the time we were the only guests as it was the start of the season. I started each day with the yoga, the instructor Anil is excellent and he was patient with this beginner. The food is very good, no western food on the main menu but they did offer to create some for us - but we couldn't resist the local dishes. The do have indian beer and wine but no cocktails or spirits. The staff were very attentive and we were looked after very well. The spa is an oasis of calm and I recommend trying some treatments, the therapists were great. The beach was lovely to walk along, easily accessible from the resort. It's not a private beach so we met some very friendly locals. I only left the resort once, for a short cycle on one of the hotel bikes which was fun. I'd love to return here and could easily stay for a week. Total relaxation in this beautiful oasis of calm."

Tugu Bali: "Ultimate feeling of peace, love and happiness!"

"A heartwarming welcome, a super nice room and an excellent breakfast. Hotel Tugu Bali has it all. Enjoy the wonderful spa, the beautiful sunset and the variety of activities. Find peace in this hidden treasure. I greatly enjoyed this pleasant stay. Super compliment to the friendly staff! "

Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Idyllic"

"This is our second time that my family and I have stayed at Sea Dance, Koh Samui and I can say with much sincerity that Poy and his wonderful staff have outdone themselves yet again. We stayed 3 years ago whilst still having that familiar feeling, Poy has added a lot of extra features to make our stay even more memorable. First of all, there were lots of familiar faces amongst the staff who made sure our children had enough to eat whilst our hands were always holding a delicious, refreshing cocktail. Thanks Kwan you are the best. The addition of the international menu ensured all our families taste buds were met. The buffet breakfast was awesome with so much choice with the hot food cooked in front of you. Secondly, the welcome addition of fun and friendly Faith ensured all our needs were met finding family entertainment for our children. For us, the location is idyllic being 350 meters from the main road you are ensured that your stay is a peaceful one whilst being surrounded by a secluded beach which makes it perfect for snorkeling and canoeing. The view of the ocean from the main pool is stunning with the water splashing gently against the oceans rocks make it a great back drop for spectacular sunsets. We stayed in a lovely villa with a plunge pool which was perfect for our family. The villa was spotless with housekeeping making sure it was clean every day. Thank you. A particular highlight was the band that played on Sunday afternoon whilst we ate a delicious seafood buffet. The atmosphere was amazing great tunes, and company with great cocktails. The band continued on into the night singing songs from all eras. For us, Sea Dance is a home away from home where you are treated like family and always feel so welcome. We will definitely return. Rachamankha: "Amazing"

The staff here were super amazing I would reccommend staying here Location was great and very comfortable with a great breakfast The staff were sooo easy to get along with We had one incident with the washing but clothes are cheap enough that it was funny in the end Cheap and awesome

The Village House: "Relaxing Bed and Breakfast"

"This is an off-the-beaten track bed and breakfast. There are no signs and I doubt there are any other tourists in Santubong Village. We walked along the beach (mud flat, really) and through town and seemed to be the star attraction (as obvious tourists). Once inside the compound, you hear the constant rippling water cascading off of the clear swimming pool. There are hammocks and cozy chairs to spend a lazy day. The staff serves breakfast (including in the room price), plus snacks, lunch, and dinner upon ordering. The food was all very tasty. Order dinner at 5pm (and select your dining time) and as soon as you sit down, it will be delivered to your table. The rooms are small, but comfortable and clean. The bed is soft (unlike so many in Southeast Asia). The A/C worked and kept us cool. You could take a taxi up to the Sarawak Cultural Village or hike Santubong Mountain, but otherwise there's nothing nearby. This is a great place for relaxation. **Do take a map and their phone number. There are no signs even at the front door and it's unlikely many taxis from Kuching would know it's location. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"

Satri House: "An oasis of coolness and calm."

"Within the bustling tourist hotspot that is Luang Prabang, Satri House is an oasis of coolness and calm. With its beautiful gardens, cool fountains and pools; with its delightful spaces formed between and around the buildings which make up the various parts of the hotel; it is indeed like being in a very special retreat. The most charming and helpful staff create the feeling of being in a grand English Country House and they are both inconspicuous and yet always available to meet your every need, Breakfasts and dining experiences are memorable. A truly wonderful experience. (...) Nevertheless, staying at Satri House is without doubt a fascinating and most enjoyable experience -- albeit an expensive one. Highly recommended."
