The River Resort: "Mekong glorious"

Review by: 張 亭 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We got upgraded for being the first Taiwanese visitors in its much venerated history (lol) and the river view is so very good, even a terrible photographer could shoot a photo with hues like Apocalypse Now or King Kong. Food is actually unexpectedly good, all the staff are wonderful people, I could not come up with anything to complain except that it's kinda weird with hotel this big and visitors this scarce, a bit ""Get Out"" as my friends and I had consensus upon."

Locavore: "A must in Ubud"

Amazing detail to local dishes. We would recommend to anyone travelling to Ubud. Both meat and vege options were incredible. Also great value for money.

CABOCHON: "Charming and Comforting"

Review by: Luis C | Source: tripadvison.com
"So relieved every time we got back to the hotel from the hot streets of Bangkok. A great experience in comfort and service. Simple breakfast but pretty nice and complete. The Design and atmosphere are de real winners at this place. Location its also a good feature, not down at the center of the City but not to far. A good center point of new and upcoming attractions and the resto of the neighborhoods. Very recomendable. "

Sea Dance Resort: "FLAWLESS — one of the biggest highlights of our Thailand trip"

Review by: Nicole R | Source: Trip Advisor
We visited Koh Samui at the very end of our 2-week Thailand trip &, specifically, Sea Dance Resort. Our stay was, honestly, flawless. It started with a very quaint, beautiful, well-cared for resort where we were warmly greeted upon arrival & given some nice juice drinks as a welcome. Then, we went to our bungalow/room which was so stinkin' cool! It's this round, stand-alone building with a king bed in the center, little desk & day bed along the wall (which our 8 year-old son slept in comfortably). Even better, the shower, toilet & vanity were connected & outdoors. It was really special & well-done. We happened to arrive on a Wednesday evening & every week they do a complimentary happy hour from 6-7 by the water & you have a terrific cocktail or glass or wine by the sea & a band plays. You socialize with the staff & we particularly enjoyed talking to Rory, who we soon learned owns the resort. He is SO kind & personable & caring about his guests, as is the entire staff (Faith, Helen, John, etc.), I was impressed that they learned/knew my & my families names immediately & there IS a casualness to everyone yet their service is spot-on. Little examples-- we were goofing around in the pool & when we came out fresh towels & glasses of water were on our chairs. On one hot day they brought around gin & tonic popsicles for the adults, juice popsicles for the kids. The breakfasts are excellent with an egg station, tons of fresh fruits & pastries, Asian foods, cereal, juices, espresso drinks & so on. There are kayaks & SUPs you can borrow & lots of beautiful places throughout the resort where you can sit on a bench & relax. The staff took a particular liking to my son & went above & beyond by allowing him to feed their koi fish, giving him little treats, etc. We encountered a couple from S Africa who said they could "travel anywhere" but they choose to come back to Koh Samui & more specifically Sea Dance again & again because of the staff & resort; that spoke volumes. I have traveled a lot & Sea Dance is in my Top 3, best hotel experiences, ever. Partly because of the wonderful resort, even moreso because of the people.

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "WOW Amazing and Stunning"

Review by: JH72 | Source: Trip Advisor
"The beautiful amazing and stunning Blue Mansion is a dream come true. It really is a dream location to stay in and a great honour to have been able to reside here for only 1 night (which was not enough). We got there late and was greeted by Shiro. Shiro is a great host and always smiling and happy to help you with everything. She has knowledge of the Mansion and where to go out in the local area. The Mansion is stunning where ever you look you have a view which is jaw dropping! We stayed in the room ""The Old Kitchen"" which still has the old large stove as a centre piece in the room covered in glass to protect it. The room has its own has its own Jacuzzi which is beautifully lit and tiled. The shower here is stunning. Old fashioned but modern and powerful with various settings. The room is large and open planned with amazing woodwork and large shutters. You can imagine Cheong Fatt Tze walking around his mansion. This place still has a very strong presence of him. Breakfast is great and again the setting is just awe inspiring! Thank you to Ms Seng RouHan for your help with our booking. The tour completed the experience. If you have time take the tour which is included for paying guests. I would like to stay here longer in future but I would find it very hard to leave if I stayed too long as this place is just simply heaven. Thank you Blue Mansion. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"

Tugu Lombok: "secluded paradise"

Review by: h532001 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We spent 7 nights at Hotel Tugu in an Aloon-Aloon villa. The place is wonderful. White sandy beach, spacious grounds and excellent food. This is not a large hotel by the nimber of rooms but the ""rooms"" are all quiet, spaced out dwellings. The aloon-aloon villas have their own small private garden but it was not needed the ground were so large you coud sit anywhere and be undisturbed. There were beds on the beach for quiet relaxation antd the sea was warm and shallow so very safe. The hotel is quite out of the way, about 2 hours from the airport, but once you get there there is no need to leave. Everything is qeitly understated. The rooms are decorated with local art and there are artifacts everwhere that seemed like they ought to be in a museum. Don't expect a trouser press and an airconditioned restaurant. You eat outside in a thatched roofed dining hall, just stunning. The atmosphere is so relaxing, no need to dress for dinner, just wash off the sunscreen and add a little insect repellant (probably not needed) and enjoy youselves. This is a special hotel but not if you want nightlife."

Satri House: "one of my favorite hotel in the world"

Review by: RCBLHKG | Source: tripadvisor.com
"For years I'm traveling around the world in search of the best hotel ever. But actually, what could define what we call ""the best hotel""? Simply a place where you feel at home right away you arrive, a place full of charm where there is a strong atmosphere, a place where people are so nice, kind and helpful you can easily consider them as a family, a place where every corner is simply beautiful and finally a place from where you would never want to leave. Satri House is THIS PLACE and our recent stay has exceeded all our strongest expectations. (...) This unique property extremely well designed by her owner is truly THE place where to stay in Luang Prabang and an hotel which has to be experienced by all the hotel lovers. BREATHTAKING..."

Reverie Siam: "Paradise in a small town"

Review by: panidaavni | Source: Trip Advisor
"RS was an amazing hotel in a very busy small town. It was truly wonderful to escape back to after a tiring day in the heat and humidity of Pai. The staff here are so welcoming and very accommodating. They greet you so warmly all the time. The shuttle tuk tuk was also very handy as it is almost impossible to find taxis when walking the streets of Pai. The breakfast menu was very impressive. Everything cooked to order. Try the Pai scramble. We took the family room which had the largest bathroom I have seen for such a size hotel. Beds were very comfortable and all the locals amenities provided in the bathroom are very nice touches. The soaps were great - lemongrass and coconut, all locally sourced and natural"

A lovely surprise in Chiang Mai. Good food and service and a great night out. French cuisine served in a semi formal setting. Personal attention to detail is impressive.
