Jing’s Residence: "Good place that you just cannot miss.."

Review by: RudyTeng | Source: Trip Advisor
Do spend time to sit outside of the room, hotel will help to set tea table with sweet stuffs. This is quite different experience that you couldn't get from other 5 star hotels. The only weakness is not many selection from breakfast menu.

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Not Just A Hotel But An Experience"

Review by: lancelotcym | Source: Trip Advisor
"GOOD: -historical and cultural hotel with a vast Chinese history -price is relatively high in Penang but it is worthy definitely -huge room, clean washroom even it looks old (looks old, not physically old) -consistent and thoughtful interior from the lobby to the stairs, from the atrium to the room, you will feel you are in the old China -nice place for breakfast BAD: -as there is a lot of open area and trees, do expect there will be mosquito in your room, you better check once otherwise you will be bitten like a fresh meat that I experienced Room Tip: Old but Not Physically Old"

Misool Eco Resort: "A True Island Paradise"

Review by: Zaphoid_Beeblebrox | Source: Trip Advisor
"There are plenty of Lengthy reviews here already so will keep this succinct. Just spent 10 Sublime days & 9 Exquisite Nights at Misool Eco Resort this September. Would have happily spent 10 more. This is a truly special place. I have not been to another resort anywhere that matches the genuine care, warmth and concern that all of the staff show for their guests. Mark and Sue, with their vast Island Resort experience, along with their humble unassuming nature bring a level of Empathetic service and understanding that is unmatched anywhere! I could list all of the other frontline staff by name and thank them individually, but I was equally impressed with all of them, as they were all totally genuine and helpful and an absolute delight to share the island with. This is not some pretentious 5 star resort in the Maldives, or Bora Bora that has spared no expense on all of the modern luxuries at the expense of its surroundings and the Native Peoples. It is a perfect, flawless uncut diamond built in perfect harmony and balance with it's mostly untouched surroundings, in a well considered, thoughtful and sustainable way. The resort manages to simultaneously give back to the local people whilst truly supporting and restoring its pristine surroundings to all of their original glory. If you are a diver, the abundance of Soft Corals and Marine Life on all of the surrounding reefs is overwhelming. If you are not a diver, a leisurely afternoon swim or snorkel on the house reef is just as impressive. You won't find another experience quite like staying Misool Eco Resort anywhere! If you are considering it, Do it! As soon as you have, you will want to go back for more."

Sanak Retreat Bali: "Gorgeous resort to relax"

Review by: BrakelSyl | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed end of April in a 2 bedroom villa with our two teenagers. Arrived by own rental car, and found it very easy to find the accommodation, we used the off line google maps on our mobile, and there were some good signs along the way too. Got a warm welcome in the restaurant, with good explanation and a tour around our villa, which was great. The two rooms bungalows all have incredible views to the pool, rice fields and valley. We had two balconies and a verandah, it was so peaceful to sit there and enjoy the jungle concert and view the gorgeous sunsets. The pool was clean, fresh (but not too cold) and spacious, with enough sunbeds and umbrellas. We also loved the funny Indonesian food car, from which you could take the pooltowels. Several times a week the local dance group came there to practice, we loved watching the beautiful girls. With our own car we visited the Buddhist monastery, which was only 25 minutes away. Great serene place! Also did the guided trekking with Berly, which was a very sweet and knowledgable young man. The trip included a swim in the natural spring, which was very refreshing. Our villa had so much nice decorations, and blinds to keep the sun out of the room. It has 2 fans inside, and also a fan on every balcony/verandah. There was no A/C/ but it was no problem at all, this was the coolest house of all our accommodations. This is a place for fully relaxation! Love the views so much, despite there can be some fog in Munduk area, the sight here was always clear. We had some rainshowers in the afternoon, but the mornings were very clear, blue sky and warm. Only two remarks: we found the food in the restaurant too expensive for what we got, compared to our other meals on Bali (but we had our own transport, so we went to Munduk many times) and maybe the ""say goodbye"" could have been as warm as the welcome (?), like in all other places we stay on Bali. But we recommend this place to everyone, it was really a pleasure to stay here, a wonderful memory."

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "One of the best hotels in Nepal"

Review by: Andrew H | Source: Trip Advisor
I have visited Tiger Mountain several times and I now regard the staff there as 'friends'. The team led by Marcus, Jhalak and Dol Raj are very friendly and helpful. The food is some of the best available in Nepal. Local curry is excellent and the Western dishes are wholesome and tasty. The hotel focuses on ecotourism and so tries to use local organic produce as much as possible. The large garden is full of birds and butterflies and the naturlist team available for nature walks are very experienced. The swimming pool has possibly the best hotel swimming pool view in the World. I shall return!

The Island lodge: "Gorgeous retreat along the Mekong River; exceptional staff"

Review by: pjdeisinger | Source: Trip Advisor
Gorgeous retreat along the Mekong River. We stayed in one of the garden bungalows and had such a peaceful and lovely time after our frenetic few days in Ho Chi Minh City. The hotel grounds are beautiful with wonderful landscaping of the lush, natural greenery. Breakfast is included and is taken in the open air lounge looking onto the pool and the river. The pool itself is beautiful with plenty of loungers and a good mix of sun and shade, and you can watch the Mekong River drift by as you enjoy a drink from the bar a few steps away. The staff at The Island Lodge really made the whole experience extra special - everyone was so kind and welcoming to my husband and I during our stay. Chau (the manager) was absolutely the best - she was so helpful and attentive to all of our requests, coordinating with her staff to ensure we were well taken care of the entire time. She gave us recommendations of local restaurants and some sightseeing places in My Tho, too, when we wanted to venture out, and helped arrange our transportation. The hotel is very secluded and a bit out of the way from the town and other attractions but for this kind of property I believe that is sort of the point. We chose to stay here for a few days between Ho Chi Minh and a river cruise leaving from Can Tho. I would highly recommend staying here if you plan to go to the Mekong Delta area (it’s worth a stay on its own, even if you DIDN’T already plan on coming to the area)!

Villa Song Saigon: "Out of town"

Review by: NicholasFFisher | Source: Trip Advisor
"Away from the bustle of down town and a complimentary boat ride into town. Great view of the river, Very welcoming with some great food. Very helpful and friendly staff. Take the hotel's recommended tour to the Cu Chi tunnels by boat from the Villa! Booked at the last minute - I'm coming back that's for sure. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"

Nimmu House: "Wonderfull stay and rest in Nimmu House"

Review by: poppynho | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We had a peaceful, relaxing and perfect experience in Nimmu House. Welcoming staff (Alice is lovely, take care of everything), stunning old house which is still being renovated, tents are all comfort. Perfect place to rest and near not so far from Leh, and from there you can visit western Ladakh monasteries and go for trekking. Food is awesome (the chef works in a French owned restaurant in winter as far as I remember). Best nights we had in two weeks in Ladakh, without any hesitation!"

Reverie Siam: "Must Stay while in Pai"

Review by: D J | Source: Trip Advisor
"Booked Reverie Siam without hesitation when I learned this resort is one member of secret retreats, where I used to had exceptional stay at Rachamankha in Chiang Mai in 2014. I'm not very clear what's the background of the secret retreats organisation, seems it's a collection of small boutique hotel in the world. I'm so happy that this decision was absolutely right, we had again an outstanding stay here at Reverie Siam, and I definitely recommend to all TripAdvisor reviewer who going to visit Pai. We took mini van from Chiang Mai ends up at Pai Bus terminal, called to the resort and been told they could pick us up, within 10 minutes the hotel TuTu is already here. Smooth check in and we were been showed to our Deluxe Garden View room, the resort only have 20 rooms in total, however it occupied a huge piece of land, with plenty of plantation offers absolute privacy. Spacious room decorated classic antique and made us a calm mood. Toiletries were all handmade local ingredients, strong rain shower clear our tiredness away. Swimming pool also surrounded by trees and flowers and butterflies are everywhere, we are enjoyed the mountain view from the pool, and as only 20 rooms, so not often met other guest, so when the time we visited, became our private pool. What a wonder land! Breakfast is amazing! After so many hotel I stayed, I tend to love a la carte menu rather than international full spread buffet, as for buffet, so much similarity among different hotels, I cam remember the list of buffet items, that's really boring, but an a la carte menu are different, it is carefully selected item with sincerity from chef and it certainly delicately presented to please my appetite. This time I had egg benedict and transitional Thai porridge, both are delicious! Only one little thing could improve will be the wifi connection a bit slow or certain area no signal, I understand the land is big it may occur sometime. Hotel TuTu is frequently available when you need to go Pai walking street or come back to hotel, just give them a call. After we check out, staff were so nice, still send us to next hotel in Pai. My strongest recommendation to stay Reverie Siam if you are here."
