The Hue House: "Lovely Restaurant"
The place so nice, staff so lovely... and food also delicious. You should to come in the everning and enjoy this place.Glenburn Tea Estate: "Amazing Location"
"We stayed in 'the bungalow' which was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable with the added bonus of wonderful scenery. The food and service in our own delightful dining room in front of a roaring log fire was perfect. The only major downside is the TERRIBLE access to Glenburn. I live in the country down an unmade up track and have a 4 X 4 to cope with our own tracks and lanes however, the 10 kilometre track that takes an hour each way (I was highly amused to see another review claiming it takes 30 minutes, this would only be possible if they flew!) to Glenburn is worse than 'challenging', it can only be likened to a steep dried up ancient river bed! My husband and I both suffer with arthritis and this journey very nearly killed us off. Such a pity as otherwise everything else was perfect!"Pindaya Farm House: "Locally run delight of a hotel."
"Clean, simple rooms in a wonderful location, this small family run hotel is a perfect place to stay. The best food in the whole of our time in Myanmar cooked by our hosts. They offer trekking outings with packed lunch and cookery demonstrations, a real gem. If you want local people to benefit directly from your trip this is the place to stay."Flower Island: "Relaxing in paradise!"
"Staying here was like being in paradise- your own tropical heaven away from everything. There's some incredible coral reef around which makes for some excellent snorkelling: we saw turtles on a number of occasions as well as a plethora of tropical fish. They also have some giant clams in the coral right in front of the beach. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and on one day took us to a pearl farm. I highly recommend a visit to the pearl farm - it's so fascinating to see this industry at work (not to mention more amazing snorkelling opportunities along the way!) (...) You can also hike up to the light house (around 10-15 mins) to get some lovely 360 degrees views. And there is a stone path going around the island for running: a complete cycle is around 1.7km, so 3 rounds, we did 5.5km ish. Oh - and did I mention those stunning sunsets...?"Slow Villas and Spa: "Amazing stay in private pool villas"
"The peace in the peaceful Gili Air. We really enjoyed our time in the private pool, the breakfast ""at home"" and the attention to simple details (from the furniture to the kitchen appliances). It was the well-deserved relax after 2 weeks of rumbling around Bali, Lombok and the Gilis. Only remark, it is almost in the center of the island, you have to bike to get to the coast (bikes are avaiable for rent) and at night it is pretty dark."SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "One of the best"
With a wonderful lake view and amazing ambience, this restaurant is worth a visit, even though it may be slightly out of the way. The food is delicious, with lunch sets that are of good value. The service is impeccable, as with people in Myanmar in general. Make a reservations for choice seats. Alternatively, go in the evening for seats near the lake. (It seems too hot in the afternoon when I was there.) I loved the classy decor, with their handmade pottery dining ware!Tugu Lombok: "Bliss Bliss Bliss"
One of our favourite hotels we have ever been to. The staff are so friendly and sincere and make you feel so welcome. The ambiance is spectacular with all the antiques, open areas, blue ocean, just breathtaking. We recommend the fresh caught fish of the day Indonesian style. Great food! Thank you so much and we will definitely be coming back again.Mie Cafe: "Our last night in Siem Reep"
My partner and I wanted to go out for a nice meal as it was the end of our holiday. We were getting tired of 'Pub Street' and wanted something special. We found out about this place on TripAdvisor and thought we would give it a try. We were very fortunate being a walk in as it's a rather small restaurant and it was quite busy. The food was absolutely wonderful. It was contemporary Khmer cuisine at its best. This was complimented by wonderful service from very friendly staff. A wonderful evening out.Rachamankha: "Luxury Oasis in Middle of Chiang Mai — Superb Value"
The Rachamankha hotel is an oasis in the middle of Chiang Mai, Thailand. My wife and I stayed there for three nights as part of a southeast Asia tour. The hotel grounds are fabulous and peaceful. The break fast was outstanding and a great way to start any day. The value for the price was superb. I highly recommend this hotel.Villa Song: "Haven in District 2"
Escape the hustle and bustle of downtown Saigon and head for Villa Song across the river - a beautifully designed Colonial Villa with just the right number of rooms making it feel homely and welcoming. The interior design is lovely featuring Vietnamese artwork and furnishings. The pool area is a huge plus for swimming. The staff are very courteous and whilst going through the booking process helped in numerous ways with suggestions for local trips, booking up restaurants - all very efficient. The car service to and from the airport was excellent and worth doing this. The frenetic pace of Saigon and the unfortunate pollution problems can be quite something so its nice to stay just outside for peace and sanity!!! I also noticed that the staff were especially good and accommodating to small children holidaying with their parents.
