Tugu Lombok: "A truly magical place"
"As someone who seen many many hotels cities, countries and places I can truly say that this hotel left an ever lasting positive impression in my head. A secluded serene place of beauty. Ideal for romantic getaways or personal getaway from noise, crowds and hustle. Extremely attentive staff. Great spa and an overall warm place to reconnect with your inner self."4 rivers: "Tranquility Base"
"I stayed with my wife and son for a couple of nights on one of the floating tents recently. Our hosts had arranged an extra bed for our son and a lovely bouquet of flowers for my wife's birthday. The 4 Rivers team really enjoy making your stay as comfortable and unique as they can. Swimming in the river straight from your lodge makes you feel like you're in the middle of a jungle. Do get up early and listen to the dawn chorus. The trip to the fishing village and collecting clams in a mangrove swamp is great. There are bugs around at night but they are dealt with. The management did everything they could to make arrangements when our plans changed at short notice. A big thank you to the whole team for making our stay so memorable. "Rachamankha: "Beautiful boutique hotel in old city"
Stayed for five nights alone, the staff was wonderful. The breakfast and every meal I had at the restaurant were wonderful. Upon first entering the hotel I thought I was in a temple because it is very beautiful and has a very relaxing vibe, and is so quite inside the grounds of hotel but is a short walk from the walking street.Nimmu House: "Paradise in Ladakh"
"I stayed in Nimmu House during a trip in Ladakh organised with a group when we had to go trekking. We stayed in Nimmu before and after our trek. This place was so peaceful and it was the perfect place to have a little rest. We stayed inside the tent in the garden which are just amazing and cosy with all facilities and much more than what you could expect after trekking in Ladakh. The inside of the house is also very special and has his own story which is quite interesting. At night, we enjoyed the bonfire and nice drinks outside all together. Food is very wonderful thanks to Maya and menu is different everyday. We had Chocolate Mouss, Chocolate Pie and also Lemon Pie which is so nice French people The atmosphere is very friendly in Nimmu house :) Manon, her husband and Audrey take good care of their customer and are always available to discuss with you about any enquiries you have regarding the services, the house or any kind of thing. I really like to thank all of them for this wonderful stay in Nimmu which was so special for me as it was my birthday and they made it so nice for me :)"Satri House: "Perfect. bliss"
"Nothing to add really to the other reviewers. This place is splendid with style and characters, quiet because a bit away from the main road. Will absolutely return. Would only say that breakfast service is a bit difficult - you have to order piecemeal (or anyway, that's what our waitress did). Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"tugu bali: "Traditional old world Balinese style hotel"
"Drive through traditional villages and rice fields. Only 30 minutes from Seminyak. It is a lovely drive and sometimes people want to see the rice fields without spending a day driving to Ubud. Arrive at Tugu, lovely old world traditional hotel for a nice lunch. A couple of hours of your time well spent. Relaxing, peaceful and educational. "Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Great location & beautiful property"
Very friendly & helpful staff, including the manager. Decided to give this hotel a try based on some recommendations, and also due to the fact that i had a work appointment nearby. Great location & many interesting local attractions to visit nearby. Food at the Blue Mansion was brilliant.Jings-residence: "Feeling Welcome In Beauttiful Surroundings"
Jing's Residence in the charming old town of Pingyao is one of a kind. It has all the attributes one wishes a hotel would possess, but rarely encounters in real life. For one thing, I was struck by the extremely appealing aesthetics of the compound, with its inner courtyards, its beautiful rooms/suites with all the amenities one would desire, its upstairs library with computers, its excellent restaurant... It is, however, the atmosphere of the place, the way you feel welcome and the sense that the staff cares about your well-being that really makes Jing's Residence such a unique and pleasing experience. My only regret is that, because of our tight schedule, we could not stay a few extra days and imbibe more of this relaxing, yet invigorating atmosphere.Rak Ko Jae Hahoe: "Best place to immerse in Hahoe culture and to see “Rope fireworks” up close"
This small very well equipped traditional guesthouse in the traditional village is next to the river where we saw the spectacular "Rope fireworks" for the first time in our life. This village can be reached by public bus from Andong or a 30 minute taxi ride. Andong is very well connected to all major cities by excellent non-stop buses. Mr Kim at RakKoJae Reservations helped us a lot with prompt responses during planning. All equipment including WiFi and bathroom fixtures worked perfectly. The attendant was a very helpful lady. Breakfast was great. A small restaurant next door serves sandwich and bear till late. This is in a traditional village where people live, work and attend religious ceremonies. Outside the village there are shops, restaurant, museum and bus stop. JW Marriott from Seoul suggested this great stop on our two week trip to South Korea. We have traveled to many more than one hundred countries. We were fortunate to get a room. This guesthouse has only four rooms. they fill in fast.Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Simply the BEST"
"Rarely does one find a jewel like this, where staff and owner are welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much. Marcus and his team really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable, relaxing, rejuvenating. Then comes the view : simply breathtaking. And the cozy rooms in chalets built of local materials, all conscious of the environment and preserving it. And the delicious food : you can have just about anything you feel like, and much of it comes form their own organic garden, simply delicious! Thank you TMPL for a most relaxing holiday, without noise pollution! I will be back for sure."
